AC:WW Discussion Thread - Visits/Trades/etc.

I'm going to go to Toys "R" Us today, to get the exclusive downloads.

I have a question though, how am I supposed to get all of the furniture pieces -- when you can only buy one bottle at Nook's?

Anyone got some spare TRU items they can part with? The closest one to me went out of business and I don't feel like driving an hour to go to the next closest one.

Has anyone had a monkey move in to their village yet? I'm afraid to do any trading right now in hopes that I get one. Amelia is set to move out tonight. :pray:

Yeah, Igot a monkey named Champ. He was sick as soon as he moved in, ha, btw my gate is now open if anyone wants to visit, I got some TRU items :cool:

Welp, I went to TRU and got a few of the exclusive items, I was only able to get four, and lots of duplicates.

So, if you've got a star or a fire bar, please PM me so I can get one of them! I have lots of 1 up mushrooms, etc.
 
What's a good price to sell turnips at? I'm just afraid of holding out too long and having to dump them at a loss on Saturday night. Is 120 good? Once I got 430 but how often does that happen?
 
Hey guys.. I went and camped out at TRU for like 30 minutes.. must've threw at least 20 bottles out, I did get all six items and I have extras for you guys.. first come first serve. I have extras offffffffffffffff:

Flagpole (x4)
Fire bar (x4)
1-Up Mushroom (x2)
? block (x2)

I only got one of the green pipe and one star man and they're both staying with me.

Extremely infrequently. What price did you buy them at? Remember: turnips rot after a week.

I usually buy them for 90 something and sell at around 120. This was only my third time buying turnips so I am curious.

If you got one of the TRU gifts, the letter talks about simians which is code for saying the next new neighbor you get will be a monkey.
 
Just to point out to everyone: Go on WFC, Nintendo is currently sending out letters, with a Lawn Chair attached, reminding people about the Saturday fireworks this month. As with the past letters, you just need to log on to WFC, open your gates, exit and then re-enter the gate area, and close the gates to receive the letter.
 
Yeah, Nintendo has been sending a lot of little things pretty often, none of it exclusive, but it's still cool nontheless. I got a sleeping bag from Nintendo yesterday, and the lawn chair today.
 
the sleeping bag is a spotlight item, so its a little rare, im not sure about the lawn chair. i have a hard enough time remembering KK so ill really have to try for the fireworks

Oooo...And on my birthday, too. That thing is such a tease. I've seen it once, after I'd had the game for a month or so. The chances of actually having enough bells and finding it at the same time are soooooo slim. If I got it, I'd probably never take it off.

Hey, does wearing the four-leaf clover behind your ear improve your luck? Or is just owning it enough? Once you find one, will you ever find another?
 
hey guys, i just got this game and want to visit some CAGs' towns, mostly to collect different fruit (i've got oranges) and maybe buy some stuff. I definately wouldn't mess up anything (I don't even own an axe), I just want to try out online play. If someone wouldn't mind inviting me, can you send me a PM?

Oh, and if anyone is interested in visiting my town, even though its very new (I still have Nook's Cranny) just send me a PM too.

In the game or in general? In the game it's just one of many random food and beverages your townsfolk will talk about. But it is a real drink, one I enjoy regularly at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant (though the drink orginated in Taiwan).

Anyone looking to trade some paintings? The forgeries are getting to me.
I have an Amazing, Calm, Famous, Fine, Flowery, Lovely, Opulent, Rare and Solemn Paintings. If you have any not listed and would like some from what I have, let me know.
And my gates will be open for a bit, turnips at 153, but it's early in the week.

The Mario items from TRU do not show up in the catalog. If you mean an item like the Arwing or Master Sword, I have those available (looking for the Triforce myself). I wouldn't mind adding some Gulliver items to my catalog, even if I can't order them, he's just a pain to get items from.
