I just picked this up a couple days ago and decided to play it this morning around 10 a.m. Fast forward to past 6 p.m., and I've finally been able to peel myself away from this game.
Wow, I really missed out on this game when it released. It was always on my to-buy list, but I just never got around to it. I checked on Game Rankings, and it averaged around a 67%, but I honestly think it's a lot better than that.
I really like the Majesco-published games, and the screenplay was written by one of my favorite authors - Orson Scott Card. He's also written the Ender series.
The game just has so many elements in it, and I think it brings them all together pretty well.
It does have it's problems, though. There is some frame rate and clipping problems, and the game has frozen up on me once.
Another nice touch is the ability to skip or replay cutscenes. While skipping cutscenes is pretty common, I really enjoy the ability to replay them in case I missed something.
Glyphx did a really nice job with this game, and I really wished it sold better. Too bad that we'll probably never see the rest of the trilogy.
If any of you guys have been thinking about picking it up, I really suggest you do. I snagged it at Gamestop for about $17. You just can't beat that.
