You know they don't actually "add" tax, right? I believe that ebgames.com merging operations with EB stores caused them to have a business presence in every state, which causes them to have to pay (and thus charge) sales tax for items sold. There are some people who are happy about the merge as the prices are usually more closely associated and you can return in-store.
