Was just checking my gmail account and had an email containing a 100 point code in it. Told me I had redeemed to many for this
promotion so here is a free code for whoever sees it first.

damn I almost had it but apparently Ive redeemed th max amount.
 
Well I emailed them and this is the response I got...

Thank you for your interest in Microsoft Points. The Microsoft Points were available while supplies lasted and are no longer available to earn as of July 18, 2008.

You will receive an email with a coupon code(s) for accumulated points through July 18, 2008 (less the 100 Points received at registration) that you can deposit into your Microsoft Points account. You should receive your final Microsoft Points email with coupon code(s) in approximately 7-10 business days.

Please visit the website at www.dreamcarchallenge.com to find answers to many Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and the Rules for additional promotion information.

yeah I got that same message in my email DragunZ... I saw that and was like awesome.. then opened it and was really disappointed thinking points were in the email.
 
I hope we get the points before Mega Man 9 is on XBLA. The free points will be great since I'll have to replace a controller.
 
So sometime between Tuesday and Friday this week we should get the MS points. If they actually decide to honor them and going by that recent e-mail.
 
Quick question. I think I got some points a month or two back but last I heard, each account can only redeem one 100 MS Point code. Did they change this? I took a quick look at the FAQ and it states that you can now redeem up to 2000. Is that true?

The 100 points was given when you signed up and created a car. The 100 point cap was just there so people couldn't create multiple accounts and redeem the 100 point codes under the same account. You could earn up to 2000 points by creating and rating cars daily.
