All original credit goes to punkprincess for pointing out this sale. I just wanted to start a thread with more information that I was sure would be constantly updated.

This is an in-store sale and the games will most likely be marked at these prices and in a big bin. Some of them are good for the buy 1 get 1 half-off orange tag sale that is also going on at KB right now. There are many other games that are at these prices, but this is what your fellow CAGs have confirmed and remember seeing so far. Happy Hunting.

I just got back from KB located in Westfield, MA and picked up the following:

Nintendo DS:

Pac-Pix $10
Madden 2005 $10
Polarium $10
Spiderman 2 $10
Retro Atari $5

N64:

WWF No Mercy $1

PS2:

Rise of the Kasai $10

There were mostly XBOX and DS games, but the pickens were very slim. I was hoping for a PSP game or two but they were wiped out. They still had about 4 Madden 2k5 for DS, a couple Polarium's DS, one copy of World Series Poker DS for $10, 2 or 3 more copies of Rise of the Kasai for PS2, one copy of Worms 3D for PS2 for $10, 2 more copies of Pac-Pix, and thats all I remember.

I was talking to the manager of the store as I checking out, and she had just gotten off the phone with the regional manager. The regional manager had told her that they were going to be doing a sale like this again but didn't know when. So if you missed out on this deal, you should have another shot when the new sale goes on, which hopefully will be sooner than later.
 
I stopped again at the Brockton, MA KB on the way to work. The bin was half full but I didn't see anything else I was looking for. I did pick up Magical Project S set 2 (anime) for a buck. Eh, cheap anime! EDIT: wow it retails for $40! not bad!

I did see: (all sealed, not display copies)

So if anyone was looking for those games and is in that area, check it out!
 
Stopped by again yesterday and the bin and glass cases were dry, but I managed to find Wade Hixtons Counter Punch for GBA in the bin. for $5. I've been looking for that game for a while.
 
I asked for a price check on Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (no bongos)
and Wario Ware Inc. for GCN

Both came up reg price.

Can anyone confirm whether these will be pricecut when the cashier rings them up and hits total?

Is this just some price check glitch? What gives?
 
So no one wants to trade for my FF I&II DOS? Guess it's going back to KB unless EB offers more than $10 in credit - which I seriously doubt.

BTW, I'm looking to trade for Pac Pix.

Clearances don't end until the stuff is all gone, hence the "clear" in clearance.

KB is weird, ever notice the price-tags that looks like they've been slashed from, say $6.99 down to 3/$10 with red ink are really just cleverly printed tags. I was duped by that for years, thinking it started at full-price and then someone actually slashed it....
 
I went to the Cambridge, MA KB one more time. I was plagued by those N64 Resident Evil 2's, and I wanted to see if they had any left. I called ahead to check, and the guy said he had 3. Surprised, I asked him to put one aside for me just in case. Upon arriving, he had rounded up the rest of the N64 games (only 1 RE2, 4 others) and put them in the case along with my RE2 and asked if I wanted them.

All sealed, $1 each:

I work at a KB Toy outlet and if the use the same system we do (which they probably do) the sale price should ring up when scanned and before hitting total. And KB does not believe in holding items on clearance until they are gone.. They will end a clearance sale and put the items back on the shelf at the regular price.

Yeah, when I originally went last week, they had about 5 RE2's stacked up at the counter, nothing else. I'm wondering if they found them recently and he put them aside for me when I called. The other 4 games were NOT orange-tagged. Two of them still had a 19.99 sticker and the other two said 9.99. But they rang up a buck each of course. So yeah, maybe they found them hidden in a box somewhere.

I think there was a class action suit against them for doing that, at least when they made the "red ink" prices the msrp. The only thing that came out of that though, other than the lawyers making millions of dollars, was a whole day where everything (excluding video game hardware) was 30% off.

I bought megaman collection for gamecube in that condition. the disck was all scratched,and the case looks like crap. I asked if its used and the clerk said its not. he said sometimes customers open them up and they get trampled on if it falls on the floor. anyways, i still bought the game for 10 bucks. he said if it doesnt work, i can always return it.

If you can't find one, I believe Target just lowered the price to $29.99. Not quite greatest hits, not the awesomeness of only $10, but still much more practical than the normal $49.99.

Yeah -- I think they used to do like EB did, where they had one empty copy you brought up to the counter... When I went to the local KB I ended up coming back with Max Payne 2 -- it was open, but in pristine condition and had the sticker they used to use. (This box is empty... blah blah blah.)
 
I didn't think anything good would be left over by now, but I was down in Fort Lauderdale, FL today on a trip and stopped by Sawgrass Mills and they had a goldmine in there!

I got:

That mall is HUGE and actually has 2 KB Toys in it! Even more shocking was they had at least 3 to 5 copies of most games left (except Armored Core 2 & Dynasty Warriors 3 - Don't know where they dug them up from.) I already got what I wanted and probably will never be back there again, so any other CAGs in the area are free to rape & pillage the store all they want.

Went to the KB Outlet store in Troutdale, OR. Wasn't much besides lots of old EA sports games for $1 each. Also had a few Turok Evolution for PS2 for $5, but I'm terrible at shooters.

I picked up:

Batman - Rise of Sin Tsu Action Figure Commemorative Edition for PS2 $5
Dark Cloud 2 for ps2 $9.99

I been wanting to get dark clound anyways. I'll be going to a regular KB's today and hope they got some stuff left.

Hmmm... I didn't know there were any KB's left in the Portland area besides Washington Square and the outlet one in Woodburn. I also figured KB Outlets didn't carry games because the one in Woodburn has never had any. Don't bother with the Washington Square store - I went there the day this sale popped up on CAG and they said they had a few games the day before (how could that be?), but nothing by mid-afternoon the day this thread first appeared.

Oh well - next week I'm in DC and will hit up a few stores there that I was able to find stuff at from the last sale weeks afterwards.

Yeah, KB has an outlet at the Troutdale outlet mall too.

I went to the Washington Square one today as well and I didn't find any good titles there either. I asked about a recent release and the clerk said that they did not get any new video game releases for about a year or so... so all they have is at least a year old. I saw Mostly GH titles I didn't bother to ask about.

Also that KB location is closing so the whole store is 20% to 30% off, video games are 20% off, accessories are 30% off, but hardware is not included. I really didn't see anything worthwhile though. I was thinking of getting some action figures for myself, but nah. Later on in December and January of next year the percentage off is supposed to go up, maybe some stuff might be worthi it then.

I was thinking of starting a thread for this in the NW section, but honestly their selection was not that great (and the store looked pretty much fully stocked) so I'll just mention it here instead for those that care. That's Washington Square in Beaverton, Oregon.
 
I stopped off at my TRU and the guy in the electronics department had no idea what I was talking about. They had a table out but it only had Call of Duty marked down to 10 bucks on it.

I am one lucky SOB.

My KB restocked a few of the KB Toy clearance titles.

There were three copies of Jungle Beat WITH Bongos and a copy of DOnkey Konga with Bongos.

A buddy at work got one of each but two Jungle Beats were left.

and

They had 1 copy of Dynasty Warriors for the PSP!

And that was not there two weeks ago.

I am sooo friggin' lucky!

So check back at your KB's if you're in the neighborhood. They may have got more stuff.
 
I called my local KB just a moment ago. The lady said that they added a few more games this morning, all roughly $10, all roughly crappy games. Apparently, they are adding a few each day.
 
So did anyone actually ask to price check games in the Manhattan Mall?

I've stopped in numerous times and no bin has been populated with cheap games... everything is still behind glass cases.

I will ask them tonight if they can price check some items.. most of my experiences with those CSRs have been bad. :p

Yeah, I stopped in the first day of the sale and all I saw was Polarium and Madden '05 for the DS. I tried asking them what was on sale and they pointed a couple that weren't really of any interest to me. Let me know if you go and find anything good though.

That's amazing, especially considering you're in Jersey and the whole thing that happened there. Maybe you found a KB those guys didn't hit.

btw: someone mentioned they got the Urbz DS for $10. I tried it at my KB but rang up $30 so YMMV.

Is this deal still on? I went to my local KB a few months ago and it was all crap, i didnt see anything good like what i am reading here.
 
Is there any chance anyone would be willing to snag me a copy of Shadow Hearts please? I really miss that game and for $5 it's a GREAT BUY..

I know it's sold out by now lol and no one will give it up but it was worth trying..


Hope everyone else gets their games :) Sadly I can't pick up anything because I have to work *cries* otherwise I'd gladly search Mount Kilamanjaro for a copy of Shadow Hearts and Advance Wars for those of you who wanted it :p. If I do manage to have time I'll look around but I doubt it.

Went to the KB in my mall few weeks back and the guy told me they had hardly anything, all that was slashed down were 3 or 4 pointless games.
