Amazon 30% off all regular priced Blu-rays including pre-orders!

Well, it looks like they haven't quite matched everything but there are a lot of drops! More of my money will be spent.
Looks like the Hangover and Harry Potter are both down another dollar now
Yea sounds like a deal, probably shipping would make up for that dollar drop.

ok I really need to resist buying.. there are quite a few movies that caught my eye... Ice Age 3, Monsters Inc, Harry Potter.. and a few other.

anyway, thanks op!

The best price for Star Trek is BB for now. It's $20.99 hopefully they will match it.

Harry Potter at WM is $17.86 they should PM that too.

Cool I was able to cancel my original order from Amazon for the 3 Blu-rays I order earlier in the week and saved a $1.00 on each of them and then added Gi-Joe to my order so I didnt have to get it at Best Buy. I just hope thet adjust the price for Star Trek so I can also cancel my order from Best Buy for that and also add that to my order.

I thought they automatically adjusted the price if you pre-ordered. Do I need to send an e-mail or just wait for the smoke to settle as to what the lowest price is.

Trick R Treat didn't change. It was always $24.xx at Amazon. It's on sale at Best Buy for $24.xx so Amazon didn't have to adjust the price.

Damn it, I cancelled my Ultimate Watchmen order on Amazon to get ot at BestBuy, and now Amazon drops it to match BB.

:wall:

EDIT:

Did the Ultimate Edition get pushed back? It now shows a 11/10 release date.

When I pre-ordered it before on Amazon it had a 11/3 release, as did the BB pre-order.

TRICK R TREAT can be had for $15 after coupons from the Wbshop.com through 11/1. If you add in one of three other Blus for $7.99 after coupons (FREDDY VS JASON, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE), you can get free shipping and end up paying about $23 total for both discs. Use codes XB992 and WBINSIDER25 on checkout.

So how do we know which ones have the 30% taken off and which ones havent had it taken off yet? I dont want to preorder some and then have the price drop in an hour.

If its a pre-order, what do you have to worry about? Price goes down, so does your order price up through the day it ships.

Weak sauce that Grumpy Old Men went from $18.99 to $17.49. Looks like Amazon took the 30% off from the MSRP they list and not from their every day price.

They seem to be doing that with everything.

I'm really tempted to grab Fringe S1 on Blu for $42. It would be a blind buy but I've heard really good things about this series.

Anyone who's watched this series have an opinion? Would it be worth picking up?

Sweet, just ordered Watchmen Ultimate Edition for $35.

Of course the two movies I really want actually went up in price because of this - Star Trek (was $24.50, now $28) and District 9 now $27.50. BOOOOOOO!!!

Public Enemies is $21, saw that in the theater and it was pretty good. Definitely will wait for it to be cheaper.

Also tempted by Terminator 4 at $18.

fuck! I forgot to order the Hangover. Gotta cancel my preorder and re-book it...

I would definitely recommend FRINGE. The season starts off really good, then gets a little stale towards the middle and then BOOM!!! :whee:

Season 2 has been excellent so far. I might pick this up myself :whistle2:k

Thx for the feedback. I've had this on my wishlist waiting for it to fall below the $50 it's been since release so I'm tempted at $42 (plus it's payday tomorrow.) I was waiting to see if it might be on sale for Black Friday but that's a big IF.

GREAT STUFF OP!!

Both Fight Club and Superman/Batman: Public Enemies where in my Gold Box as well for another small savings. effn' sweet!. :applause::applause::applause:

I think it's a great series and well worth the money on BR.

Ah, so they are PM'ing BB all the way finally. Sent an email to them to update the Harry Potter price. I just re-ordered Watchmen Ultimate at $34.95 along w/Galaxy Quest BR which showed up in my Gold Box this morning. I'm still trying to decide if I liked GI Joe enough to pick it up on release. $20.99 is tempting, but not a complete impulse price for me. Also puzzling out if I really want the Forrest Gump Chocolate Box BR set and/or Up for $24.49. I already got the Steelbook pre-order thingy for Up from BB, so I dunno if BB's price on up will be $24.99 or thereabouts release week. I really haven't spent that much money with all the deals, so this is very dangerous for me, lol.

Between $15 - $20, then that's some possibility for a impulse/blind buy, especially if the movie was one I liked in the theaters.

I'm waiting on reviews of Galaxy Quest before I jump into that one, since we've had enough "release movie on BR and we have all kinds of a mess" situations recently. I certainly won't jump on any of the "Sapphire Series" titles as a pre-order after the Gladiator situation.

I did notice that Dark Crystal was down to $14.99, so that was an insta-purchase for me.

Ohh, yeah...Dark Crystal and Labyinth are both $14.99. Damn, I shouldn't, but now I want those! Big Trouble in Little China is $14.99 as well. I kind of want that too, but was that actually cheaper earlier?

Dark Crystal and Labyrinth are 2 for $25 at Fry's if there is one around you. I PMed that at Best Buy with a Fry's ad

I can easily see the majority of titles I am interested in being Black Friday sale items, holding out just a bit longer on about 12 or so

And yes, Big Trouble In Little China has been $14.99 previously. That has been about as cheap as I've seen it recently, as I picked it up at that price a couple of weeks ago.

Dear OP, I HATE YOU! I just nerded out and preordered some Blu-Ray Anime collections and it's all your fault! Poor bank account.... :-({|=

I actually love you, thanks for the heads up lol

Which ones if you don't mind me asking?

Well Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels popped up in my Goldbox, so I preordered that with something coming out in December as well (500 Days of Summer).

It's a good thing I have a couple of months to come up with the cash for all this stuff, haha
LOL don't hate me, blame Amazon price-matcher staff.
LOL Incredipinoy, I have a total love/hate relationship with you. I love these damn blu ray deals you find us, but my wallet hates you so hard!!!

But damn I am so bitter they're not matching Star Trek! Come on, amazon! Make the magic happen!

Thanks. I bit on Dark Crystal + Labyrinth. >_

I'm a fan of the awesome and cheesy as hell so no judging! O_O
I preordered:
Witchblade: The Complete Series (No it's not for the boobs lol)
Samurai Champloo: The Complete Series
Basilisk: The Complete Series

Everything else I want is out already and it's a bit more than 27 items so if I got them all I would be on the street with a amazon box full of blu-Rays lol. Hopefully this sale is on next week still so I can finally get at least few of the movies on my Wish List that's been there forever. :bouncy:
