Personally, I'd say that it has in some respects. I loved FFA, Secret of Mana blew my mind, and Seiken Densetsu 3 was filled with so many great things that it was absolutely insane. Then came Legend of Mana which was absolutely gorgeous but could have used a lot more in terms of plot, personally. Sword of Mana was a decent FFA remake but a lot of the gameplay elements and copious amounts of added text and story made it feel like it was full of filler more than anything else. And now Children of Mana...honestly, the team has the aesthetics down and some good gameplay elements down but I'm still craving a good plot that isn't overextended coupled with some good ol' co-op play.

Maybe it's just because I've been spoiled with online co-op and whatnot over the past few years, really. At least the series hasn't gotten totally Sonic'd, mostly because I still find that there are still a fair amount of good gameplay elements and ideas left in these iterations whereas Sonic...well...not so much.

Yeah, Power Stone is my favorite 3D fighter ever. It's just amazing-and I never got to own the second one.

Personally I'm glad it's on the PSP, as all things being equal, I'd rather have a portable version of the game.

I thought so. Has a good atmosphere and story but is very repetitive. Probably will by 29.99 by Jan though(EDIT: Or Today!). Doesn't seem to have the collectibility of SMT: Nocturne.

You do know that even if you buy Mana, and you hate it, you could probably easily get that $15 back on Ebay or probably even CAG, since the retail price is still $30 everywhere else?

That's the only one reason I'm getting Mana and Starsign... can easily make my money back if I don't like em.

Probably, but I know my personality, and I doubt I'd hate the games enough to sell them. And the way I am, I'd have to REALLY hate the games in order to sell them.

Actually it's $29.99 now, Amazon lowered the price again. I'm so glad i didn't order yesterday
 
Amazon price matches extremely easily, so you don't have to worry about that. :)

I think it's 30 days, and you just send them an email and their give you a refund for the price difference.

I already ordered two copies of CoM for $19.99 (one yesterday and one this morning) and saw it had dropped to $14.99. I called their number and they gave me a $10 credit ($5 price match for each) for my next order... which will be against Magical Starsign. Thanks!

Yea. Hunters Licence applies so you gotta pony up the cash. However, it does have some good offline single player.
