Anyone else really disappointed with Amazon's BR prices for lightning deals so far? Prometheus for $14? Come on.

I just hope they don't immediately flip the price back to $60 or stop taking non-lightning deal orders once the list fills up. Now that would suck.
They have been really bad to be honest, at least Prometheus is the 3D version

toys r us has the centaur for 12.50 and armadillo for 7.50 online right now. shipping is 8, but still not bad if you're getting both or even one of them.

Blah, I was hoping Halo 4 & DKC:R 3D might be $19.99. :(

I've already played DKC: R on Wii and I'm not in a huge rush to play Halo so I'll hold off for now.

I'm sure it is good enough considering what I'm used to. (I'll also have to buy some new speakers most likely).

But I'm just trying to get a handle on the value. Of course Amazon says it is marked down from $650 to $300 but we all know that is BS. I don't know what they were selling it for a few hours ago.

On eBay the prices start at $375 shipped, with most over $400. So $300 from Amazon is an OK deal, though not as stellar as they make it out to be. That would blow through the last of my Amazon credit and make me hesitant to buy anything else the rest of the year though (including BF).
I don't think it will ever beat the deal I got four years back: Onkyo 5.1 for $175. $300 seems steep for just a receiver since you'll want to fill that out with some good spearkers. Now is the time to buy speakers too since Polks are regularly going on sale for $100 or less again. Even with a 2.1 setup it will be a HUGE difference from TV stereo. If you can find a deal I'd recommend any of the following:

2.1 - Polk floor-standing fronts w/ BIC sub

5.1 - Polk floor-standing fronts & backs, CS II center, and BIC sub

7.1 - Polk floor-standing fronts & backs, CS II center, bookshelf sides, and BIC sub

Oh, and get some proper 14AWG wires from monoprice. Closed or open banana plugs are up to you.

So last night I bought Elder Scrolls Anthology for $34.99. I reported the lower price at Best Buy for $29.99, emailed CS and asked for an adjustment and woke up this morning to find that they adjusted their price. And that they emailed and told me they wouldn't adjust my price. Amazon CS is usually great. Is this a normal thing? I'm kind of shocked honestly.

There is a Scribblenauts Unlimited which is the first release on Wii U, then Scribblenauts Unmasked which is the newer game. $40 for unmasked is not good.  It's going to be $25 at walmart tonight.

Well that has been their policy for years now, a lot of reps will just do it anyway for customer satisfaction. Just cancel and order another one?

If I owned a Wii U or 3DS, I would be so broke now.  I would be all over those $25-30 games.

Amazon has been good to me for Dead Space 3 alone (I also bought some DVD sets and received them already thanks to Prime). However, I was set to check out an ultrabook at 4 am and the deal was removed. Are certain lightning deals disappearing or being rescheduled?

After Lego Marvel, Riptide, and WWE2K14, I can't think of any other PS3 and 360 games I want.

Amazing how the tone of this thread changed now that the actual BF deals are live. Earlier this week it was mostly QQ this QQ that. Well I'm sure there will be more bitching in the future when Last of Us deal goes up and sells out in seconds. But I'm glad people are grabbing some good deals and enjoying the holiday.  :)

Just picked up High School DxD and tossed in Daria to get the free shipping.

I really have no idea when I'll have the time to watch all the damn things I've bought so far this black friday.
hah was gonna ask if you got DxD or not.. you talked me into it myself =P I'll be in the mood for a booby show eventually here.

Some of the deals I was waiting for no longer show up on the lightning deals page: Batman: Arkham Origins, B2G1 Skylanders, GTAV, but they still have start times listed on the calendar page. And, some items have disappeared from the calendar page, like Scribblenauts Unlimited, but it still shows as an upcoming lightning deal. Not sure what's going on, but it's bumming me out. I have a feeling I'm not going to get most of the things I was hoping for.

During the Holidays, Amazon CS can be a hit or miss. They hire/outsource a lot of temps for the holiday season who aren't fully trained and know Amazon's policies. Usually it's better to go into chat to get price adjustments. If you get someone who wont, end chat, and try again with a different CS representative.

Anyhow, anyone know what the lightning deal price of Animal Crossing - New Leaf for 3DS might be? Last night I saw it drop to $25 for literally 2 minutes, so hoping it might be less than that.

Yeah, I was hoping I could get unmasked so i didn't have to go to walmart. Too bad walmart.com never had unmasked in stock.

Man, I'm trying to decide whether I want to grab Rayman Legends or wait for the Lightning Deal later. If it's $25 now, in theory it would be cheaper on the LD, right?...maybe?...
