Actually I just called them at 1-866-216-1072 and they were able to adjust it pretty easily. Otherwise, I had sent them an e-mail through the link on the right hand side of the page after you click "Help" at the top.

Don't want to lie to you but I'm 90% sure that your cart will be updated to the most current price. In other words, just leaving it in your cart will NOT keep it at the sale price.
 
fuck, I knew I should have stayed up to midnight last night too. I hoped they'd hold off the good deals until tonight. Anyway, got my L4D2, but it looks like I missed out on RE5. Weird thing is, it doesn't even show up as expired or sold out. It's just not there.

lol "Mark the time of death" reminds me of FFXI... Impulse bought L4D2 and picked up tales of symphonia for Wii... In addition to $10 Braveheart bluray.. Amazon is definetely trying to pull the carpet from under walmart :)

Gah. I had SCIV in my cart last night. Decided to sleep on it. (I knew I was gonna buy it...) Now it's still 9.98 but ships in 1 to 2 months.

FYI it won't let you cancel Lightning Deal orders, it goes straight to "We are preparing this item for shipment." I have to control my impulses better.
 
Now I just need a deal on a DS3, and I'll be fine. Would love to get a red one, but looks like I'll probably have to settle for the RS deal. I'm really trying to spend as less cash as I can.
 
I just want to laugh at the people who keeps whining about Amazon not having any good deals. They are probably still sleeping missing out on the deals. The reason why L4D 2 and Dragon Age didn't get sold was due to people still sleeping.

went with l4d2...demo was pretty decent, played it a few times. Mainly play cod so fps seems good idea.... $20 promo from cod, plus had $50 in credit still

While this doesn't necessarily pertain to the deals on Amazon, I'm curious... After ordering a couple of games, they offered me a free one month trial of Amazon Prime to better shipping for free. Now, when I first made my account with Amazon about a year or two ago, they let me sign up for a similar trial (I think it was two or three months, though). If I sign up for the new one month trial, will I really get the month for free? Or will it charge me the $80 since I already had a trial a while back? Does anyone know from experience? I'm tempted to give it a try, but my wallet's kinda hurting right now, and I don't want to risk getting charged 80 bucks.

i think you can. i ordered ufc and modern warfare which were both lightning deals earlier this week. i immediately changed my mind and i was able to cancel modern warfare. you just have to do it right after you order.

You probably have to add it through the lightning deal page; otherwise you'll get it for that price. Seems silly, but eh. For example, Dragons Age is $47.99 on its own listing, but if you click it through the lightning deal section, you get it for the $35.

Nope, it's a free month trial. Just make sure you cancel it before the month is up, or else you will start getting charged for it at the start of the 2nd month (I've got the trial going on right now too :)

When you go to check out it should say "special price 34.99" but if it doesn't, it will add the price difference as promo credit to account for the lightning deal. I picked up L4D2 and Dragon Age for Christmas presents and it had $5 promo credit for L4D2 (made it $35) and $13 promo credit for DA:O (made it $35).

They charged me a dollar for signing up. I assume that will be refunded when I cancel before the end of the month trial.

I agree this is worth at least $10. Especially if you are a even remotely a FFVII fan.
 
Would have jumped on L4D2 if I hadn't bought it already. There are some great deals, but fortunately for my wallet, none of them are really on games I'm in the market for.

Just set it to not auto-renew your subscription in your account preferences and you're good to go. Prime really feels worth it if you order many packages from Amazon though, especially if you live with siblings who shop at Amazon also.

This is the second time I've tried out the trial (the first time I just canceled before the free month was up....will be doing the same this time.)
