interesting, in the checkout there was an additional $10 off for "Discover Card Promo", ended up with Dragon Age and Tales of Vesperia on 360 for less than $50 shipped. WTF, but happy about it anyway.
 
Brutal Legend is going to be tempting but I'm trying to hold out for a better deal on Borderlands or some older games like Fight Night Round 4, Wolverine or Ghostbusters.

Most likely a lightening deal because it says "
Join our favorite treasure hunter on his first adventure" in like 15 hrs.
 
Just a note for any newbies floating around-- this is the SAME layout they used for the game deals last year, and while some sold out, many many of the deals got cheaper as the weekend went on...

Granted, some stuff sold out but about 90% survived at least a night or two, so if you're on the fence about something, it may pay off to wait until we see if they do what they did last year.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving, I assume we all meet back here in about 23:30 hours to do it all over again? ;)
 
If I cancel some pre-orders that used the 40 dollar promotional credit, will it be re-applied to my account? I'd rather pick up some games now and worry about the pre-orders later...

Man, no signs of Demon's Souls sale yet. I hope they get on that for Friday then. FN4 is $28... I'm waiting for it to drop to $20 or lower and I'll bite.

yesterday, if you went back to the item (not the lightning deal) and put it back in your cart, the discount would show up on the FINAL screen of checkout, just before the final order submission.. try that..

Does anybody know what the answer to the clue "Join our favorite treasure hunter on his first adventure." I'm still holding out hope that Uncharted will be a deal somewhere.
 
Dragon Age Origins & RE5 are both sold out for PS3. When the 'Add To Cart' button ceases to come up on the Lightning Deals page and the availability bar is greyed out and labeled 'Claimed!' then you are too late. Amusingly at 3:15AM both games are still available for 360, but PS3 sold out uber-quick.
