So considering that L4D2 is a lightning deal tomorrow morning, does that mean I would only be allowed to purchase one copy? I want to get three, one for myself and two for my friends so we can co-op through the game together. But not sure if Amazon would allow it. Is that possible?
 
Finally. After 30 minutes on the phone they price adjusted my order to 19.99. They start telling me the issue is I tried using promo credit, which I highly doubt considering everyone here had the same problem. Also, has anyone here used promo credit on a Black Friday Lightning Box deal before? I'm not 100% sure but I'm fairly sure I saw people talking about using COD MW2 promo credit on the lightning box deals and they went through...

Afro - 360 for the Achievements as opposed to the lack of trophies on PS3.
MC LA: Complete - Coin toss. I picked it up a month or so back and got the PS3 version. This is just because trophy supported games are harder to come and also, the metacritic score is slightly higher (both critics and users) for the PS3 version.
DBZ - None, spend your money elsewhere. ;)
 
This is probably the most trouble I've had with ordering a video game online EVER!
Still on the phone with Amazon, they had me ordered it, now they are "looking for the problem"

Luckily I'm on the west coast, only 1am over here! :p
 
RE 5 or Fallout (non GOTY) good value at $20? Should I just wait until the GOTY falls in price and when RE5 "better edition" comes out this spring?

It screwed up for me, and I had no promo credit (but have used them in the past). I haven't seen anyone report RE5 checking out properly for them, so it looks like a glitch on Amazon's part.

RE 5 is a good deal at $20 since the DLC can be bought seperately anyways down the road. Fallout is a judgement call. It is a better deal to wait for GOTY to come down to get all the expansions.

I have the $100 Promo credit from buying a 360 Arcade last weekend. I got DA:O and the promo credit worked with the lightning deal. No problem.

I did however have the same problem as everyone else with the RE:5 so I just deleted it rather than completing the checkout.
 
So I'm wanting Dragon Age for the PC. Is the Collector's Edition worth it or should I go ahead and snag this stranded edition that's on sale? I keep hearing about the free DLC included being worth it?
 
Amazon took care of my RE5 problem and I even got to keep the $10 discover promo.

Ordered RE5 and Bash Party for $24.98 after the $10 discover promo.

It's a limit of 1. You could pick up one copy now at Best Buy and then get a second using the Amazon lightning deal but I don't know how you would get a 3rd unless you used a different account or you could maybe order all 3 one at a time from Best Buy.

Yeah the PS3 one will come with all the DLC on the same disc as the main game, so waiting for that is probably best.

Called about RE5 and a helpful cheery girl canceled my original order and set me up with the $20 deal in no time. Thanks Amazon. :)

Also ordered SCIV in the meanwhile.

It'll have to install it to the hard drive all the same though, won't it? Two discs, one disc... doesn't really matter when you just install it off the bat.
 
RE5 for PS3 finally sold out. DAO gonna take a while to be depleted, but at least the timer on current lightning deals lasts for 4 more hours

The Lightning Deals seem to be working now so I just ordered Dragon Age Origins (Xbox 360) for my cousin. The discount came up as "Lightning Deal -$13.00". The total after using my previous promo credit was $25.96. I paid with my cousin's $25 Visa Gift Card and it went through. What will Amazon do to get the $0.96 balance? I have my debit card on file so will they just charge me the difference? I'm fine with that. Just hoping they do it automatically instead of canceling the order or putting a hold on it since I have the money, lol.
