Did you igo all the way to the last 'place your order' screen? Because mine was showing up at the regular price too, until I got to that very last screen and then the discounts were applied.

Seriously, this is as low as it's going to get on a 1 week-old game. Amazon is only matching Best Buy...if Best Buy didn't have it for $35, they'd sell it for $40/$44 because that's what Kmart and Target are selling it for.

That's what I had thought but no matter what I do, the game still shows up as 39.99 in my cart at checkout.The first time I had clicked on the link, it showed up as 35 in my cart, but then, as soon as I went to checkout, it was back at 39.99. do you have another account? you could open another one and order. i had this happen on a lightning deal earlier this week. i went ahead and bought it and then fired off an email to amazon. got the price adjusted within 20 min. i aslo took a screen cap showing i had claimed the lightning deal just in case.

Nobody is shipping your game out on Thanksgiving. Nor are UPS/FedEx shipping the game out on Saturday. I did have Modern Warfare 2 ship on a Sunday night via US mail and in my mailbox on Monday though. The 2-day shipping is 2 "business days." If you're lucky, you'll get it one day early on Monday.

You don't just order a game on Thanksgiving and then expect it at your doorstep on Sunday. :lol:

Mine did the same but right before you finalize it, it should say the lower price. I know for mine when i ordered a movie yesterday and Dragon Age today i had to click to apply the promo, for the lighting deal. It was right under credit card when choosing your payment options. Oh and does anyone know why i got a promo code and what it might be? Got it after ordering Dragon Age.

I think it's the shipping charge, it negates the $4.99 discount they're offering. Maybe the people who are getting it cheaper have a special free shipping order.

I don't think so because I chose Free Super Saver shipping. Even if it did, wouldn't it still show up as 35 as a special offer as it did in my cart? It did show up correctly the first time I entered it in my cart, but after that, it only ever appeared as 39.99.

Checked on DoA4 for the 360, and while it's no longer at the sale price (as I believe someone else already mentioned), it DOES show as in stock; last year it seems like I remember games staying at the sale price until out of stock then shooting back up, but if they replenished stock it went back to the sale price.

I guess this year they're not doing the same?

Just ordered Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World and Klonoa for myself for Christmas (from someone else) heh. I have wanted ToS for a while but never picked it up.. I knew once it hit $30 it'd drop at some point after that. I think it had to do with there already being a bunch of deals just as good for that game before today. If it had been $60 since day one and have been no good deals on it it would have sold out quick.
