for the guy asking if he should get fallout 3 regular edition for 20 bucks or the GOTY edition for 40, it really depends. me personally i have a friend that i can borrow the 2nd disc from to install all the expansions so i bought the regular edition. but for the price, 40 bucks is a really good deal for the GOTY edition. my friend bought it for 60 not that long ago. the expansions raise your level cap from 20 to 30 and allow you to keep playing after you beat the main quest.

so it depends, if you dont have a friend that you can borrow the 2nd disc from i'd say go for the GOTY edition.

Yep. But I don't think it's that great of a game. Good...maybe, but not great. Lots of issues and bugs as well. If it's $25 or less, that would make it worthwhile. Personally, I think Dirt 2 is more fun, and an overall higher quality product. But that's just me. GRID is even better than Shift, and less expensive as well.

Yes. A lot of recently released games had pre-order bonuses. MW2 gave $20 credit, for example. Most were $10. Then there was the BUY80GET40 (buy $80 worth of games and get $40 credit) deal. I made out like a bandit during those deals in conjunction with ECA discount and Gold Box discounts on top of it.

But alas...that time has now passed.

Which two? Of the 3 I've played I think all of them are good. Anchorage is fun, and even if you don't like the mission itself, the rewards for beating it are more than worth the purchase price. The Pitt is easily the weakest of the 3, but it still has a pretty good plot line, and it's fun to play. Broken Steel is very worth it, a proper conclusion to the main story and the increased level cap.

plan on playing mw2 all night till 3 am, praying for some more awesome deals from amazon, then venturing out with my mom and sisters. not all too sure where just yet.
 
NFS:Shift for $35 is a decent price. I am really enjoying it after trading an extra copy of Valkyria Chronicles for it. This again is another game that I wouldn't be surprised to see cheaper at Amazon by the end of this weekend though. I get the same feeling about the Street Fighter TE stick I ordered.

To whoever wanted Fallout 3, it's amazing. Seriously, one of my absolute favorites this gen. With that said though, if you can get the regular for 20, do it. Find someone who has the GotY edition or go rent it or something, you can install all the DLC with the second disc ;)
