Now, I used my own prime trial like 2 months ago, then I gifted the last month onto my account using my mom's. This time I was right before the final "ok" to buy a game, and it gave me the option to start a trial -again-, and it went through without any mention of my original use of the trial. This is completely YMMV, but Target had the game on clearance recently. I got it for $27 and GH Metallica for $14. That was when they ran the $10 off two games deal, too.

I'm really hoping for a deal on Demon's Souls and Uncharted. I got the PS3 bundle on BF, but somehow I missed the $15 Uncharted on Thanksgiving. If they don't have it marked down by tomorrow, I might just bite for the $20 credit.

The game is on sale for $40 right now, but the CS rep. said when they added it to the order the price showed up as $56.99.

I was wondering what the issue was; aside from what was happening on his end, he wasn't sure why the $40 price wasn't showing up either. I tried calling first since I'd imagine the price would have gone back up to $59.99 at the end of Sunday and an e-mail might've been too late.

Is there any way to get it added to the order for $40 still? Thanks.

I'm not sure if I'd rather have them cancel something I didn't ask them to cancel or order something completely random I had never mentioned. I called them to get some items added to an order and I ended up getting an amazon.com "thank you for your order" email 5 minutes later for "Step2 Naturally Playful Sand & Water Center" for only $70.66! I was able to cancel it on my own but I was still pissed and slightly confused since I've never ordered or mentioned anything even close to that.

How bizarre. The one time they canceled an order was because of a release day delivery issue. I had asked them to give two games that were eligible for release date shipping an upgrade because they were glitched in the cart and would only accept 2-day like the rest of the order. The bitch just sent me an e-mail telling me that she couldn't do anything due to the glitch and that she'd taken the liberty of canceling the order so that I may re-order it!

First of all, how the would that fix my situation since it would only glitch again and secondly how dare they do something like that without consent? I get pissed just thinking about it again. . .

Well I emailed amazon about the $20 PSN credit. I have mixed luck with amazon.

On one hand I had a terrible experience where they closed my account in error that took several days to straighten out and I never received ANY compensation. Or I have experiences like my godfather 2 game I ordered 11/25 that will not ship (eventhough I have prime) until 12/17.

But then I had a time I ordered and it was a price mistake, so they gave me $5. Or I emailed to add an eca discount and they did (when the codes were in limbo).

I don't know, it seems hit or miss.
