These ping my email address and make it more likely that I will see your question and respond more quickly.

F.A.Q.S.:

1. Does the game I'm buying from Amazon Activate on Steam/Origin/Uplay? What DRM does the game use?

There are two places to identify DRM on a digital video game detail page:

At the top of the page, below the title:

16hm7a8.png

In the "Product Description" section:

r06ykl.jpg

2. Note on Electronic Arts Games - For the most part, EA games sold on Amazon do not activate on Steam. Most activate on Origin.

3. Note on DRM with limited activations:

Our Policy

4. Sometimes I'll do giveaways.

5. I work with developers and publishers to get fun (or at least what I think is fun) content to share with you all. Here are some examples:

a. Check out the Pax Gameplay videos here: Xcom: Enemy Unknown I played Xcom with Jake, the Creative Director for the game, a few months before the game came out Also, on this page, check out the Q&A, also a community driven event.

b. Check out the interview on this page: Borderlands 2 we did this interview at E3 with Randy Pitchford this year.

c. We've partnered with the ++GoodGames Podcast to feature many of the games we carry. They talk to the developers about the game development process, how the games are conceptualized and managed, all kinds of fun stuff. I'm working on putting together full link list and will update when I have it.

What else do we sell?

Xbox Live Points and Subscriptions:

1600 Microsoft Live Points
4000 Microsoft Live Points
12 Month XBOX Live Subscription
3 Month XBOX Live Subscription]
12 Month + 1 XBOX Live Subscription

PSN+ Subscriptions and PSN Points:

$20 PSN Points
$50 PSN Points
12 Month PSN+ Subscription
3 Month PSN+ Subscription

We also have a Free-2-Play store supported by our GameConnect technology. Gameconnect allows you to link your Amazon.com account with free-2-play and MMO accounts so that you can buy things like in game currency, premium game time/subscriptions, in game items, etc. on Amazon.com using your Amazon.com payment options and have this content delivered directly into your game.

I'm seriously eyeing that "SEGA Action Pack". Will probably pick that up.

Also, any thoughts on the CAGer proposed Paradox SPACE Bundle? [SotS1 complete, Sots II, Dark Horizon, Starvoid, etc....]

Oh my bad, I meant to answer that.

I"ll pitch it to Paradox for our Holiday sale.

Cheers,
Tony
Well, at least I only blew $5 on the non-Steam stuff last time. I can't be too upset because these are still amazing deals.
Yeah, I wish we'd have had them earlier, again, in the future I'll try and make sure there's at least a month between running a bundle on promo without all Steam keys and then again with Steam keys, even if that difference in time is artificial.

Cheers,
Tony
Is that EVERY Sonic game available on the PC?

I'm pretty sure it is. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheers,

I think that's every sonic game for the PC except for Sonic Adventure 2, which was released on Steam a couple weeks ago.

Thanks Tony! :applause:
That's a new product page. The old one:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A6CS0OU

Will also be on sale for $4.99 at the same time.

We got Steam keys about 2 hours ago and scrambled to create the new bundles.

Cheers,
Tony
Awesome. I passed up the deal during the Black Friday sale and it was my one regret of the BF sale. I figured that I had a good shot of seeing that bundle again someday, but I didn't think it would be so soon or that I'd have my choice of DRM-free or having it on Steam.

Fantastic, Tony.

If anything, I'm glad that you were proactive on getting these publishers to agree to Steam keys for everything! From my perspective, if you can show the other publishers that it'll boost sales it's more likely they'll come on board too and give up more Steam keys for the deals. :)

Also, confirming it's everything except Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic R, and Sonic Riders; the first having just been released and the others not on Steam.
Yeah, literally the only game in any of those lists that isn't Steam is Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, that is DRM Free.

Cheers,
Tony
*shits a brick* then *gets out wallet*

Okay I am so there. I don't mind on Billy Hatcher because the game isn't even on Steam but all the others that are on there, yeah I want Steam keys not any of that mix and match Steam/No Steam stuff.

Seriously, thanks for this.

$20 was too high for me for that Sega bundle with Hell Yeah and Viking. $15 makes it a lot more appealing. Also, sale on individual Warlock DLC, rawr!
Looks like I'll be buying 3 of those bundles, damn it. I was hoping my wallet was safe for a few weeks.
Awww, you should know better! "'Tis the Season!!!" \\:D/
Tony, you're making it damn hard, but I'm quitting buying games for now, cold turkey. It's time to play some of them, damn it!
We're here for you Sev. Be strong.

Lies, only reason you're quitting is because you ran out of money ;)

Dude I'm glad you posted this. It is actually $20, it is literally a repeat of BF just with Steam options now.

Cheers,
Tony

Caved in and bought spec ops... who can say no to a 5 dollar deal?

Anyways played it for a couple hours, I am really liking the gunplay and the tactical commands you send out to your squad mates.

Anyone else having fps issues with this game? Is it just me or is the game poorly optimized?

3570K Oc'd to 4ghz
560ti ocd
8 gigs of ram.

The fps is really suffering even on medium and low.
Yeah I usually do, I am buried today though, sorry.

In recompense, the deal is going to last longer, you have until 9:00PM PST to get in on it.

Cheers,
Tony
No prob man! I just bought Spec Ops.

And all this new bundle for next week deal, I'll be all over it too! Nice work on getting Steam keys for it :applause:

Ran it on high on my old GTS 250, no stutters. Maybe update drivers.

I can't believe I missed the SEGA deals...forgot it was Friday. And so many glorious steam keys!

Edit: Yay, nevermind. I'll have to buy me some SEGA games then. Thanks, Mooby. I thought it was one of those crazy Gamespot things :p
Do the Genesis games have any emulator features since they are emulated? Can it do save states?
Yup. Save states as well as filtering to smooth graphics out.

(I have Shining Force II.)

hey tony,
I know this is probably wishful thinking but will the people who bought Sega games such as Condemned receive Steam keys or do we have to buy them again?
For the Genesis games...is that going to be 50 Steam keys?
I can guarantee you that's a no. Look at the bundle and see what it includes. You're getting different collections of games, with all the collections bundled together for this deal.

Each collection should have a key.

I had posted when it was going to start, but while trying to recover from the WOW factor, MysterD posted my question and you answered it. ...ninjas. Feeling sheepish, I '-''d my post, (because deleted posts lead to ghost pages). I'm definately buying the Dreamcast pack now... now I have to decide Steam or DRM-Free for the Genesis pack. I like DRM-Free, but if it's not in my steam library, it's possibly forgotten.
Tony, you're making it damn hard, but I'm quitting buying games for now, cold turkey. It's time to play some of them, damn it!
That's crazy talk. I remember the decade of Fry's addiction. "I'm never going back there." "I'm never going back there."

Really weird. I played it on with max settings @ 1920x1200 on my GTX 260, 3.2 GHz 3-core Phenom II. Felt like a solid 60 fps.

Yes those Sega deals are deals of the week, starts Sunday. Scroll back a page or two.

Spec Ops was scheduled to finish at 9PM PST (2 hours ago), according to Tony.

It makes me sad that the bundle I bought earlier can't be activated on steam, but I really appreciate this amazing effort.

Thanks Tony, keep it up :)

Tony, please work your magic so that the people who bought these Sega bundles last week and ended up with some non-Steam games will be able to be issued a Steam key like you did before with the Paradox bundle... I bought the Sega Action Pack last week and I would be really grateful if I can get Steam key for my Condemned: Criminal Origins :/
For the Genesis games...is that going to be 50 Steam keys?
If they could do 50 Steam keys we would have had the 1C and Strategy First packs by now.

Anyway, I'm sorry but I would not want to sit there and enter 50 keys for every damned Genesis game. Ugh. :headache:

This is correct. Each of the five bundles has a key, so that's five max.

Glad those SEGA deals are coming back. Hopefully I can find someone that doesn't want Condemned or Viking: Battle for Asguard so I can buy them or trade for them. If you happen to be someone like that, shoot me a PM.

Those are great deals, but if the Steam keys are not retroactive I might have to try my luck with Amazon customer service to see if I can get a refund on the big Genesis pack that I purchased over Black Friday (but haven't downloaded yet) so I can re-purchase the Steam-enabled version.

I just realized that the 50 game bundle of Genesis games is different from the one you had a few months back with all the Genesis games included. In comparison to the previous bundle, this bundle is not only missing the Sonic games, but it's also missing the ToeJam & Earl games. I can understand that you wanna bundle all the sonic games together and so that's why they aren't included this time. But is there any chance that the Toejam & Earl games might get included again?

I just want that pack for Viking: Battle for Asgard, Hell Yeah! and Condemned: Criminal Origins (I already have BD and AVP) I think it would be hard to find someone that doesn't want the games that I want :(
Missing Sonic Adventure 2 HD.

@TONY
Any chance you could get SEGA to bring this to Amazon DVG?
