1. I don't disagree that this info is important, that's why I spent almost a year getting it implemented on the page :).

2. Adding DRM identification to pages is now part of our SOP (standard operating procedure), it is still a human process though, so some stuff gets missed (Hotline Miami).

3. As for getting retroactive, this is in the plans for 2013, we didn't get this functionality in place until just before we hit our huge promotional season so when prioritizing things I have to spend my pre-November/December resources running down deals, scheduling them, creating emails to promote them, talk to you guys about them, etc.

Again, this is a big focus for us, but things aren't going to get cleaned up until after the New Year for sure.

No, the show rocks (especially from the digital side), we just had a bear of a time running down enough deals to fill the show. It was a function of being just after Black Friday and just before Digital Holiday.

BTW, I have some really cool promotions cooked up for the time period surrounding Christmas. More deets to come.

Sad to hear the Gamespot show cancelled, I hope you'll be able to come up with more shows in the future Tony.

Also anyone knows if "Check VS Mate" on Amazon is a Steam key? If not what's the DRM on it?

Carcassonne is also on sale for $1.99 after applying the Gamefly NOV20OFF coupon code. There was a discussion about this game either here or in the Steam thread where people were wishing for a Steam version (still a no go) but I think I will bite now since Tony will not be price matching.

Is there any chance you could at least put it ala carte on sale for a not so great price? Like $7.49?

A friend is hounding me to get it for him as payment for a router he's "lent" me, so I'm trying to pick up a second copy.

EDIT: Gosh, Amazon download speeds are killing me. I literally can't download anything from Amazon servers. Once again, 4GB is going to take over 24 hours! Meanwhile Steam is downloading at 1.4MBps, so I know it isn't my connection.

Sucks, I wanna play Far Cry 2. :(
 
Hmm...so far nothing announced that will be pulling me away from FTP The Old Republic. Considering that I only purchased KOTOR II during the entirety of Black Friday from Steam, I'm worried (or relieved) that my gaming spending is done for 2012. Maybe it's my backlog of excellent games...which is more Tony's fault than anybody else!

Here's an idea Tony, any chance you could run a deal on The Old Republic stuff like subscription digital cards? I know you have relationships with other FTP publishers and a good relationship with EA, any chance you could give us some TOR deals as well?

And of course, if you could ever manage to run a deal on some ME3 DLC the interwebs might explode.

This. The pack is nice, but most people interested in Madness Returns probably have it by now.. I'm not rebuying it just to get the first game. However, I'm not even sure if it'd be possible to split them up? Maybe they're both tied to one origin key?

Thirded (or fourthed). I already have MR, and from how often it's been on sale, I'd imagine almost everyone who wanted it already has it. Not really interested in buying it over again just for the original when the original is all I want.

Then again, if there's nothing Amazon can do about it (one key), then the idiotic setup is upon Origin's part. Oh well in that case.

Same question here, but I got Alice Madness Returns from Amazon last January (best $2.49 ever spent :D)

Original American McGee's Alice alone for a good price is ok, or even the collection for a discounted price for those who purchased Alice MR from Amazon ;)

The only 'joke' is that those are the most recent PC versions of the franchises. EA went console-exclusive after they were released.

I found it amusing that you can buy the Alice collection from Impluse/Gamestop, and it says it requires Origin - but you can't buy it from Origin. At least, you couldn't earlier today. Anyway I traded in my :360: copy so I can grab this when it's cheap.
 
I would love to see the original alice! I'll definitely pick it up! Even if it comes with the newer version. I preordered the newer one, so I was able to play it on the ps3.. but I would much rather have it on pc. :)
