F.A.Q.S.:

1. Does the game I'm buying from Amazon Activate on Steam/Origin/Uplay? What DRM does the game use?

There are two places to identify DRM on a digital video game detail page:

At the top of the page, below the title:

In the "Product Description" section:

2. Note on Electronic Arts Games - For the most part, EA games sold on Amazon do not activate on Steam. Most activate on Origin.

3. Note on DRM with limited activations:

Our Policy

4. Sometimes I'll do giveaways.

5. I work with developers and publishers to get fun (or at least what I think is fun) content to share with you all. Here are some examples:

a. Check out the Pax Gameplay videos here: Xcom: Enemy Unknown I played Xcom with Jake, the Creative Director for the game, a few months before the game came out Also, on this page, check out the Q&A, also a community driven event.

b. Check out the interview on this page: Borderlands 2 we did this interview at E3 with Randy Pitchford this year.

c. We've partnered with the ++GoodGames Podcast to feature many of the games we carry. They talk to the developers about the game development process, how the games are conceptualized and managed, all kinds of fun stuff. I'm working on putting together full link list and will update when I have it.

What else do we sell?

Tony, did the 2k emails go out yet? THQ and EA emails came, but not 2k

also does Darksiders Franchise Pack qualify for THQ?

thank you

I was originally going to get SRTT for the DLC since I already have the base game but the Darksiders Franchise pack is also THQ. Is $8.19 after the coupon an insane deal that should not be passed up ever or at least in the wee hours of this morning? I haven't paid much attention to this game until right now.
Coupons work!

Just got Rayman:Origins and Saints Row: The Third Full for $5 and $2.50 respectively. Thanks so much Tony! Just waiting on a possible ME3 GameFly PM and my EA coupon to continue spreading joy :)

Hope everyone has a great day today! Have fun with your coupons!
Do you know if both of them are Steam?

Missed out on getting promo cred for Ubisoft...damn. Would kill for most of those games.

Can't decide on Darksiders Franchise pack or SR3 Full lol.

It seems that I can use the promo credit more than once. I bought SR:TT for $2.50, now trying THQ Medley, and it's showing that I still have $5 promo credit
Here's other EA games I came across that others may want to apply the coupon towards:

Prices listed are before $5 coupon applied
SimCity 4: $9.99
BF3: $13.99
Mass Effect 2: $9.99
Alice Madness Returns: $9.99
Burnout Paradise: $9.99
I'm seeing a price flip with Battlefield 3 from $13.99 to $34.23. Am I alone in this? I was waiting for the midnight to roll around so that I could take advantage of my coupon, but maybe there's another page I need to look for?

That's because 13.99 was only valid through 12/24

I don't think anyone else was looking forward to this, but I'm excited. The first one listed on the first post is still $144.xx. I'm not sure if that first post is drm free either, cause both posts mentions steam
I was planning to buy it, but then I decided to wait for another 75% sale on the master bundle since I want those dlc too.

Summer deal here I come...

(tony can we have something like a 75% sale on the grand master bundle?)

Stupid Sims 3 prices! My EA credit is absolutely worthless, lol. Thanks for the "present" EA.

"Hey, have this $5 coupon! We priced up all our games $5 though, sorry!"

Why am I not only not seeing any of the deals others are mentioning (e.g. SRTT for $2.49), but the prices seem to have jumped up? When I was looking at my email before 3 am EST, the first page showed vanilla BF3 for $14 and afterwards, I refreshed the page and it was still $14. I went through the six pages of Sims expansions and ancient sports titles and went back to the first page and nothing seemed to have dropped. So I closed the tab, relaunched it from the email link and now BF3 is $34.23, a tidy $20 spike. What's going on?

Excellent! I really wanted this to pop up so I could gift it :) Loving Amazon deals this year. The Sega Action Only bundle also dropped to $19.93! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._t=1401&pf_rd_p=1447695902&pf_rd_i=1000716161 Perfect, gifting complete. Now more for me.....

Not I. Either they fixed it, or you bought more than one thing from THQ this year.

Tony,

Thanks for the repeat of the Darksiders Franchise promo and the THQ credit. Didn't really care about the DLC but splitting it with another CAG allowed me to pick up the base game for $3.50ish!

You're looking at EA. Check out THQ and you'll see the SRTT.

Part of it is that SRTT is priced at 7.49 on Steam and Tony priced matched.

Plus, if anyone doesn't already have it the EA Burning, Flaming, etc pack is well-priced at 8 something I think. You could also wait to see if EA has anything on Steam's daily and whether Tony will PM.
I bought more than one, got multiple emails for THQ, still was only able to use it once. Working as intended on my end.
Mine too. Thankfully I avoided that particular moral dilemma.
I bought more than one thing from THQ this year, but still won't apply more than once for me (as Tony said).
I just bought SRTT: Full Pack for $2.50 and THQ Medley for $5.
Looks like it only bugged for a single instance though. I'm not getting the promo discount anymore.

OK, I figured out my problem: I've got an EA coupon and was looking at the EA selections and Saint's Row is a THQ product. Oh well. Nothing for me.
Tony, do you know whether the $24.99 XCOM price will stick around for the December 26th 2K coupon?
It's a one day deal, along with Borderlands 2 and GW2
anyone else not get a 2k offer that bought a 2k game
As stated many times, the 2k email is going to be sent out throughout today, as the promotion doesn't begin until tomorrow.

Just picked up the 5 pack with my EA credit. Looks like I'll need another hard drive before the summer sale, starting to run low on space

Yeah. Most of EA's deals are worthless aside from the one pack for 13$. And it seems like "We'll give them this credit to make them think they are getting a good deal so they buy on Amazon instead of steam! Boo steam! we get more munnies this way!"

This is what I imagine is going on in the heads of the gremlins there.

I also want to say thank you. DSII alone was worth the 8$ I paid. Never mind the first game AND all the DLC (Which btw, is any of it like cheats or gamebreaking?) even though I already have DSI

Also: Does DSII PC feature higher quality FMVs? On amazon it shows the game being 20GB. When I recall the PS3/360 versions were ~7GB.
EDIT: WHoops. I was looking at the Season Pass DLC download size. That says 20GB. which can't be right. Right?

THQ Credit worked flawlessly. I already had Saints Row 3 and was wanting to buy the Season pass from Amazon for $4.99. Getting the Full Package for $2.49 saved me half of what I was going to spend. Thanks!!
Chiming in while my excel eats itself trying to crunch numbers.

Yes, we opted to leave DSII Franchise in place. Also, we're PMing Steam on the $7.49 SRTT FP, which will stay in place until that deal is over and then move to $12.49.

Lastly the program is specifically designed NOT to pass out free games so it is essentially $4.99+ or $5+ (meaning MORE than)

Cheers,
Tony
Merry Christmas Tony, picked up SRTT FP for 2.49 :bouncy:way cheaper than I ever imagined.
Pleeeeease tell me this is going to pricematched.
maybe because you're surfing porn?

Any opinions on AC Brotherhood standard vs deluxe? (The $5 would work on the $4.99 one right?) With how cheap things are nowadays, $2.50 can get you another game but I don't really want to miss out on the Rome experience either.

Thanks Tony, this is amazing!!!!

Edit: Nevermind, just searched the Trajan market and realized I was there this spring so I need to have that extra content!

personally i'm holding off on EA and Ubisoft until later in the day. we've got another round of Steam sales after all. and who knows what other sites that normally get PM'd will happen.

If anyone does not have THQ credit, but would like to buy SR3: Full Package at $2.50, please PM me. I am not particularly interested in purchasing any of the THQ games, but would like to help someone else who is.

Two extra templar lairs (the Tomb Raider-ish platforming) iirc. Imo, if you liked AC2, go with Deluxe. (And if you didn't wtf are you doing buying the sequel) =) Are they really worth $2.50? /shrug I liked the game and was happy with the Deluxe package.
I'm waiting anxiously for the official list of 12/25 hidden deals.
You'll never find them they are too well hidden!
have to wonder why Warner Bros did not participate as this promo seems to be a great way to invite game sales
Probably because $7.50 each for Scribblenauts and Lego LOTR are already insanely good deals.

Would pick up SRTT if I didn't buy it the moment it got pricematch with Steam. Bought Darksiders pack instead. Merry Xmas everyone
