From Electronic Arts:

Games that activate on Origin

Per MysterD's suggestion:

Here's the Steam Key Activation Page List.

NOTE: This list is incomplete so if you're unsure you still want to ask in the thread.

I'll be posting this a few times in this thread. I also post this regularly whenever people ask about activation limits with Amazon Game Downloads:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_200205020_times?nodeId=200205020&#times

How many times can I download my games or software?

You can download an unlimited number of times for personal use. To re-download, go to Your Games and Software Library through the "Your Digital Items" link at the top of the screen and click the download button.
Can I download and install to multiple computers?

For video games: Each game manufacturer has a different policy on how many installations are allowed with each product key. If you run out of installations for the product key you originally purchased from Amazon, please contact Customer Service and we will happily provide you with another key at no additional charge. You can install an unlimited number of times for personal use, however additional copies of the game for friends or family must be purchased separately.
I apologize, I worded my question poorly...where have you seen that price advertised, on Black Friday...i'm scouring the internet and don't see it.

Sorry again for the back and forth!

Cheers,

No worries. It seems I was wrong with Walmart only going to offer BF3 for $28. Source

Thanks for fielding the question, Tominater12.

Yeah, several places are pushing the BF3 on console deals, and they are pretty good for a game that literally came out a week or two ago, but I haven't really seen any PC love anywhere, so I'm hoping Amazon can deliver on a retail PC copy of BF3.

I'm a pretty hardcore 360 gamer (50+ games), but BF3 absolutely must be on PC for me. (64 player matches on PC vs. 24 players on console).

Because let's be honest, we're not getting BF3 for the campaign. :)

Also, thanks for being on the forums, it's good to see reps reach out to the customers.
Is there a website that shows price drops on Amazon Digital items like how Steamgamesales keeps track of all the other download sites?
camelcamelcamel works apparently, but it only tracks amazon prices

example here

I accidentally purchased Dungeon Defenders before I put my Amazon Gift Codes in. Am I allowed to return it or is the sale final?

PM me with your email address.
Is that "Best Sellers" list going to be updated at all? Because, frankly, it's missing most "best sellers". Pretty awesome prices regardless of the extra $5 credit though.
Any idea?
Any idea?
Sorry this got buried in my host of emails.

There are 55 titles on that page, so I don't want to list all of them, but the process for picking them was pretty simple.

We looked at our best selling games so far this year, and added them to the promotion there was 0 subjectivity involved in the selection.

Cheers,
Tony

Im a confused noob and recent learned me PC gaming...

Im playing Mass Effect 1 now on Steam, so if I buy the amazon version will my save carry over from when I beat Mass 1??

As long as you know where your save file is, you should be fine.

It would appear that ME1 saves are localized, as the game doesn't use Steam Cloud, so you could find the save file on your HDD and move it to whichever directory you need it in.
Nothing to announce just yet...curious where you've seen BF3 for $28.99 though...can't find that deal anywhere.
Rumor starting to churn that EA's store will be firing off their own BF3 for $30 deal as well:

If only Amazon had Rage PC Download, which is $30 on Direct2Drive.
Would be nice, if Amazon did this deal on Rage PC Retail Box or beat it, since they ain't got it for download. ;)

Let's hope the Origin rumor is true.
Imagine if Amazon matched it...or better yet, BEAT that price. ;)

http://www.deals4downloads.com/ does a pretty good job of collating Amazon's digital download deals. I use the Compact Table View so I can see more details per page, Sort by Latest to get reverse chronological order, and the % savings slider to filter out smaller discounts.

I fucking love you for this .

I wonder if the $5 credit will be good towards related addon content as well. Specifically interested in the Battlefield 3 Back to Karkland maps.

If Amazon matches or beats that price on a physical copy of BF3...

Hey there Gen. Wedge,

There are currently no plans to expand the list of games the $5 credit is applicable towards further than what is listed.

Cheers,
Tony

To the Amazon rep,

Hey Tony P.S. your competitor's big Black Friday sale just went live. I won't say who, *cough* Steam *cough*. Any chance of matching or beating their deals? I'd like to know because I'd like to hold off on the draining of my wallet as long as possible and if you match I think I'd know where I'd like to pick up some cheap digital games :D

Erm, are you taking requests?

:D

Hmm, isn't Battle Forge F2P now? I mean, not that I'm saying Amazon shouldn't sell it for $9.50, but it reminds me of Fry's keeping some of the DC Universe games and other F2P MMOs on shelves at a "discount" ;)

Depends on the request...I sing a MEAN Bon Jovi ;)

"It's My Life" and a physical copy of Battlefield 3 PC, please.

Don't worry, once I'm distracted with massive 64-player combat I'll stop begging. :)

I have mass effect 2 for the Xbox, and was wondering if it is worth it to play it again on the pc? I also have all the dlc for the 360, but haven't gotten to it yet. $5 is a good deal, but not sure if the experience will be different on my computer. Anyone play both versions, and are they any different?

Thanks

Mining was supposedly way better on the PC, but I believe that was fixed with a patch (after I was done on the 360)

Glad I didn't think twice to buy it. Now, I feel bad for my friend who really wanted this game. He just went AFK.
