Amazon Prime Deals Thread

I'm not sure if this has been done before, but I cant find anything using the search engine. From time to time I search amazon for cheap games that are eligible for amazon prime. Usually these games have a low number of copies available, but nonetheless still cheap for CAG's with amazon prime memberships. I basically just want to post links to games I find and the number of copies available at the time of the find. Hopefully enough members are interested and the thread thrives. Due to the overwhelming number of items that go in and out of stock, updating this OP will be nearly impossible. This is basically a "right place at the right time" kind of thread. The best way to utilize this thread would be to start at the most recent post and work backward. Some items posted could have as little as 1 left in stock.

F.A.Q

Q. What is amazon prime?

A. Amazon Prime is a membership program that gives you and your family unlimited fast shipping, such as FREE Two-Day shipping and One-day shipping for $3.99 per item on all eligible purchases for an annual membership fee of $79. Eligible customers can try out a membership by starting a free trial.

Q.Whats the difference between "sold by amazon" and "fulfilled by amazon"???

A. Items sold by amazon are brand new and factory sealed (unless otherwise specified) and are covered by amazon's terms of service and return policies. Items fulfilled by amazon are sold by a third party through amazon and could be brand new, refurbished, pre-owned, etc. Please do your research: check original seller feedback, reviews, policies, TOS agreements etc.

Q. What is Amazon Student?

A. Amazon Student is a free membership program created especially for college students. Amazon Student members receive benefits such as one full year of FREE Two-Day Shipping with Amazon Prime, and e-mail alerts for discounts and promotions. You only need a valid student (.edu) e-mail address to sign up.
I hate those posts too.

Deal: "I got this game for $15 and it came with a $10 credit" - That's something other care about.

Not a Deal: "I got this game for a good price because I used other credits I had from other deals/trade-ins" (Glad you are happy, but if you got a deal, it was not on this purchase but on the previous transaction that gave you the credits you used on this purchase).

Sorry for repeating what you said, but hopefully it will stick for the people that don't seem to understand the difference.

Of course that is the insidious aspect of those game credits. Many people end up feeling like they are getting two deals for the price of one when they are really only getting a deal on the first purchase.
I totally agree - it annoys me to no end. It'd be easier to keep up with threads for actual deals if we'd cut down on the irrelevant posts that nobody on this board cares about other than the poster.
what I find funny is, its usually the same people that say "I got whatever game for $60 with a $20 crdit, so I got the game for $40". Then you see the same asshole saying a week later, I just picked up whatever game for $5 after using my $20 credit.
This. :applause: Look no further than the Kmart and Amazon threads
Apology accepted. :)
:grouphug:
is alone in the dark worth the 6 bucks? i heard it sucks
I just bought it this week. I'm almost done with :360:Brutal Legend and that's probably what I'll play through next.

I only respect the opinion of a few game sites, one of them being Gamespot, and they said
"If you can endure some vexing technical flaws, Alone in the Dark can be a clever, satisfying adventure."

That grabbed my attention so I'm giving it a spin. For that price, why not? I've spent more on a movie ticket and that only lasted a couple of hours at most :D

I enjoyed Alone in the Dark, I played through it and got all of the achievements. And while there are some parts of it that were kinda bad, it's not as terrible as a lot of people claim it is. I picked it up in the 10-20$ range and I would definitely recommend it for around 6$.

Idk...after reading about the technical flaws of Alone in the Dark, I'm not sure I could handle it. Sounds like the movement is completely jacked up.

While Alone in the Dark DOES have a lot of technical flaws and just stupid gameplay designs, it's an extremely original game that should be played.

And Alpha Protocol is a BIG yay if you don't go in expecting Mass Effect.
Alpha Protocol - Yay or Nay?
Alpha protocol was one of the funnest games I played last summer. It';s no masterpiece but I found it entertaining and there are lots of choices that have big impacts on the story.

The price jumped up a big $0.50 to $14.53!!! Still decided to bite using some credit. A lot of people on here have given it high marks, so hopefully it's not a total waste of time....

I'd avoid Alone in the Dark. Video games like that can reach a price point that makes them practicable from a financial stand point but that doesn't mean they're worth your time.

Alone in the dark was a decent game with some absolutely shite bits. Play the demo, if you can learn the controls and suffer through a few parts that really blow it's worth a deli sandwich.
The price is very enticing but I'm sure most of us have backlogs and don't need Alone in the Dark added, haha.
yeah i bought dark sector for like 5 dollars or something and i already had a backlog. i'm playing it just to justify paying anything for it

i bought alone in the dark cheap last year but was instantly bored with it... there are better games in my backlog, but it might be good for someone who has nothing to play?
Thanks for the heads-up. Gamespot actually reviewed it in the 6 range, so I figure that merits 6 bucks.
Did you watch that review? I found it hilarious. They knock it for not using six axis motion controls . I love watching/reading reviews from back before everyone realized how stupid some features were...

I bit on Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror. It will be the first SF game I've played since the first one on PS1, but I've had my eye on the PSP games. Thanks illenium.

I did watch it, and I thought they said it did use the Sixaxis, but it seemed to be an afterthought for evades. I think what will be more disappointing is the lack of rumble, since I assume the developer didn't include it as the DS3 didn't exist then.

I'd like to see some more posts in this thread ... I browsed Amazon this evening and didn't see much. Maybe someone can do a better job than me?
Idk...after reading about the technical flaws of Alone in the Dark, I'm not sure I could handle it. Sounds like the movement is completely jacked up.
Get it for the PS3. It was rebranded as Alone in the Dark: Inferno. They fixed a LOT of issues.
Crackdown (x360) $10.63
Alternatively, there are copies up from Big Game Vendor for $10.02 and fulfilled by Amazon.

There are also used-like new copies of the game for $6.99 from Amazon Warehouse Deals.

Those deals ALSO qualify for Prime shipping, as do the ones fulfilled by Amazon but sold by a third party.;)

So unfortunately the new price may NOT always be the cheapest deal.

I just received my $3.49 copy of Crackdown, and I gotta say I am quite surprised that it was an original release printed copy as it has the "Do not sell before 2.20.07" orange label across the top. lol and it includes the halo 3 beta :)

Wow I missed it. I've been watching :ps3:Eternal Sonata on Amazon for 3 weeks now, never dipped below $16.18. Combine with missing :ps3:Katamari Forever at $10 and I'm sad

:D Ha! Well put!
Though after some thought, I think I will buy a sandwich instead. I'm hungry.

What happened to this awesome thread?

Also, how do you go about finding these great deals?

Looks like if you put a little work into it you can find them pretty quickly but I don't know where to start other than sorting by lowest prices. THERE'S GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY!
