I know something's wrong when I see Gundam model kits being stocked by newly-launched U.S. based sellers who list 16,000 items ALL at $6.90 + $4 shipping...for every item they sell.
That happened a few days ago. Today, I'm searching for Yoshi's Woolly World 3DS for my wife's Bday present, and there are 4-5 just-launched resellers in the top spot for both base game and Poochy Amiibo version.
There's something scary and dark happening with Amazon this week. Not sure if it's an attack on them to damage their reputation, or simply an onslaught of sellers sick of the high fees that Amazon is charging (half.com raised their fee to 25% a little while back, not sure why they're still a thing).
First sales tax, now this? Anyone heard anything on what's going on or what Amazon plans to do about it? They don't have enough telemarketers in India to cover all of the calls that will start flooding in when every poor gullible grandma starts ordering these "unbelievable deals" only to have every single order cancelled or never arrive.
Scammers are probably trying to take full advantage of the true nonsense shopping season: Tax Refund Time.
(on a sidenote, funny enough, I did the H&R Block 10% Amazon bonus on some of my refund, and it rejected saying "too many direct deposits into this account" and the IRS sent me a physical check instead)
