Also comparing Amazon VOD to Netflix is pretty stupid. They're not comparable and were not designed to be so. Compare Amazon VOD to Blockbuster or PPV, not to netflix,
Ok, but who has enough money to swing around? If predictions about VOD services become a standard, then all these movie studios enforcing a 28 day waiting period will suddenly want to see their stuff on VOD from day one. And believe me, they just won't hand it over, the highest bidder b/t Netflix, Redbox, Amazon, BB will have new releases day one on VOD.
I think from a price perspective, Amazon VOD wins. Every day they have a 99cent movie for rental that is pretty recent (like within 2 months of being released) Head over to Vudu..'oh, I can rent Once Upon a Time in America for today only for $4.99..' who wins there?
and also, ssjmichael, I think you need to get Prime! let go of the anxiety of having to get to $25

I was really skeptical about dropping that much for the annual fee, but I've never looked back. Especially for us DVD/Game collectors, its a saving grace when you something is Prime eligible and only $10. But maybe a curse too b/c I spend/buy more that way!
