F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

NBA Jam is probably worth it at that price. I got it for $22 in the EA Flash deal and I really enjoyed it. There's a lot to do, though it does get somewhat repetitive. And the AI rubberbands like crazy.

But I totally understand not getting it :p I'm salivating over 999 and the Move starter but I just don't have $100 to drop on it. And it's not like I'm out of games to play...

Probably aem. He likes those gba games.

Yeah. Spending way too much on games, backlog, time, being a CAG... all factors on why I don't pick up something even though it's still a good deal.

My friend at work also has it so maybe we can borrow each others games... better than Gamefly, etc. :)

Thanks, decided to jump on Aria of Sorrow at the reminder of Castlevania.
Buy the 320GB Move bundle for $244 and sell the console

My wife calls that "scheming" and would kill me if she found out I did that.
I assume you were hoping for a like new copy?

I got a smush complete copy you can have for less ;)
I didn't get a look at the condition, but Aria and Harmony are both Like New, so I can only assume I genuinely missed out. Shame.

*MAJOR RELOAD* (probably as you all know)

I went a little nuts :( I need to stop watching AWD. Ill post my purchases when I get in from work.

Edit: Ugh my poor amex card...

RB3 stand used like new for $17.99
Xbox 360 Street Fighter IV FightStick Tournament Edition http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001M22WN8used - acceptable $87.99
Alan Wake LE used very good $35.99

I jumped on Harmony of Dissonance myself :)
hey guys, thought i read this in the FAQ previously but guess not:

is AWD return for any reason and they don't ding you on shipping?
I think unless it's a defective/not as described you may not get the shipping refunded and/or have to pay to ship it back.

So if you just changed your mind you better find something 'wrong' with the item before requesting a return.

I *almost* did as well, but figured one Castlevania game is good enough for now. Glad to share the love :bouncy:
Do you know the seller? Even if it's fulfilled by Amazon, what's the chance that a psp in 'Acceptable' form doesn't show up scratched to hell and back.
Never even bought a system from warehouse deals, personally. But I don't think it would be much of a hassle to return it if it wasn't in good shape. Judging from most of the responses on here, acceptable means like new lol.
How brown is the Bronze?
DSi Xl?
An "unboxing" video on that fancy webpage filled with videos would help you more than someone describing the details of a color via text here....but it's a really dark brown.

ok thanks. THat's how it works for Amazon proper.

But I coulda sworn I (mis)read that you could return it if unsatisfied for any reason. I know I could just make something up about it being defective but I don't really like to do that.

My experience is that it has been but I have returned items and paid return shipping, without even seeing if they offered, if I didnt like them so not too sure.

I have one and I love the color! It has a dark walnut gloss on the lid, with a kind of bronze matte bottom and inside face for both screens and buttons. The lid is a finger-print magnet, but the rest is not. It looks really masculine, if that helps.

http://www.warehousedeals.com/info/Return_Policy

I found their return policy and I quote:

If you are unsatisfied with the product for any reason, you can return it in its original condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error.
Please visit the Online Returns Center to return an item.
For further assistance, please contact Amazon customer service.
For questions about a charge that has been made to your credit card, please contact Amazon.

The section concerning your possible return is in RED. So it looks like you're gonna have to pony up and pay the return shipping.
One is even listed as "Mint." I personally haven't seen that before.
I've seen games listed as 'mint' before, but I've never seen the worst condition copy being listed at the highest price.:whistle2:#

If anyone is wondering, return shipping is $4.95 and it is taken out of your refund. At least that's how it played out for me for the only thing I had to return to Amazon due to my error.

Just bought, all Xbox 360, like new:

FO: NV - $24
Oblivion GOTY - $24
Just Cause 2 - $22

I suppose all three for $70 isn't bad, plus I'll have them by friday.
Probably aem. He likes those gba games.
lol I did in fact get it. I picked up 6 like new Game Boy games on impulse...regret getting 4 of them. I thought they were good deals. By the time I checked what they were going for on eBay they went to shipping soon. The eBay prices on those 4 games are just about the same as what they are going for on Amazon or maybe slightly less.

If the values are the same you are much better off with eBay because AWD Game Boy games never come mint and half the time get partially crushed. Wish I could cancel. specialist I did you a favor by picking it up Circle of the Moon as you'll get a better condition game from eBay for the same price.

Game Boy games I bought in like new condition
Decent deals:
Zelda Oracle of Ages GBC: $17.99
Zelda Oracle of Seasons GBC: $17.99

Regret buying (not too bad if mint, but chances of that are slim):
Metal Gear Solid GBC: $29.99
Castlevania Circle of the Moon GBA: $14.99
Mario Bros Deluxe GBC: $19.99
Final Fantasy Tactics GBA: $16.99

Also picked up..
Classic NES Super Mario Bros GBA (acceptable): $12.99
Disgaea 3 PS3 (like new) $12.99 (1 more of these left if you want this)

Yeah. That's just silly Amazon.

I think they're just messing with us now.

Damaged during shipping is a good option. Got my copy of Uncharted 2 GOTY today and it was damaged. Had it had a working code, I would've dealt with the damage. However, since it didn't, I returned due to damage from shipping. Got my label and already sent it out without any out of pocket expense, aside from buying the game.
