F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

It's been at $69.99 a few times.

That is a much better price. I'll have to keep an eye out before 1/10 to see if I can get one a little bit cheaper. Although $82 isn't that bad of a price either.
Because people don't want games with bilingual artwork fucking up the feng shui of their game collections, of course.
oh fuck off with that sarcasm. You're probably one of the most xenophobic people here.

Just cause you are fine with shit ass PH and GH cases doesn't mean other people aren't allowed to dislike them.

it was 73.99 or so a few days ago.
I hated when Nintendo started doing that, with their manuals too. =/
I blame Quebec and Mexico being the same region as the US for Wii games. It makes more sense for Nintendo so they only have to print one cover instead of three.

Too much text makes game covers look cluttered.
I got one of the sealed copies and it has a similar discoloration. I've seen stuff like that before on discs. I doubt it will affect gameplay. Just in case, I'm going to load it to the hard drive. But if there's any problems, Amazon is pretty good about returns/replacements.

Does your copy have a bilingual back cover (English/French)? I wonder if the sealed ones are overstock that was originally intended for Canadian distribution.

The blotch looks exactly like the picture in this post:

I've seem many games like that, it's normal. I thought something was wrong with the disc the first time I saw something like that... swapped through 2 more to see they were all the same.

It's not a deal breaker for me, but it is kind of annoying. I mean I've always gotten that sick satisfaction of looking at the back of a game and getting a little giddy inside over the awesome screenshots, but often times now you'll see one or two generic pictures and some writing like, 'The world is waiting for you to save it, can you do it?' then have it written even bigger in two or three different languages.

Oh well, can't read that, might as well just look at the manual. What?!?! You mean it's just a cover and back with something on the inside and they did away with actual pages?

Oh well at least it has a nice thick case...what's this "eco-friendly packaging"? Oh crap. Well, looks like this game cost all of 25 cents to produce, disc and all

When you’re paying for a game, the real cost is not in the disk/package itself. What you’re paying your $60 for is the development costs to make the game. It cost developers millions to make a great game.

I apologize, but my post was intended as sarcasm. Sorry you missed that. I realize that the $60 I'm paying is for the game development.

Ordered one the other day for $68.99, but it's in good condition, not like new.

Well, I wouldn't exactly "blame" them for speaking a different language, LOL, but that is exactly why Nintendo and a couple other publishers print their manuals/boxes multilingual for North American releases. French for the significant population of Canadiens that speak it, and Spanish for the significant population of Americans and Mexicans that speak it. And of course English as well.

Conversely, I'm sure South American releases are printed in Spanish and Portuguese, perhaps even English. European I'd imagine have 3 or more languages - English, French, German, perhaps Spanish and Italian as well (and even more possible).

Just cuts down on printing/publishing/localization costs, having to manufacture/print/box multiple versions of the same thing with the only differentiation being the language.

Anyway, back to the topic...anyone seen any Xbox systems or bundles lately?
Anyway, back to the topic...anyone seen any Xbox systems or bundles lately?
There was a Halo Reach bundle alive for quite some time for just under $300 last week.

Ah yeah I saw that one...shoot I knew I should have pulled the trigger. I've been waffling so long on the 360...I'm probably just going to pick one up with the Best Buy $50 GC deal, hopefully on a holiday bundle (or even better, try to somehow get them to give the gift card with the $300 4GB+Kinect bundle).

It's cool. No pun intended.
Does anyone know if an XBOX 360 or PS3 are covered by any manufacture warranty or is our only option something like squaretrade?
Both have manufacturer warranty, I think one year on each, with (at least on the PS3) option to buy increased warranty direct from the manufacturer
Does anyone know if an XBOX 360 or PS3 are covered by any manufacture warranty or is our only option something like squaretrade?
I was able to get to use my 50% off coupon on a squaretrade warranty. All I had to do is call squaretrade and they refunded the difference.

I got my Playstation Move starter bundle. The box is absolutely DESTROYED. The Sports Champions case is in equally bad shape. The camera and wand massager seem to be in great shape, though. Now to decide if I want to keep them or not.

I got my Used - Very Good PS3 320GB Move Bundle for 275 this morning. It came in almost perfect shape. The outer box of the PS3 was a little torn but when I opened it, the box inside was flawless. The PS3 and all the accessories were untouched. It was in perfect shape. I am very happy with my purchase.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the exact one that I received a few months ago. Except that the camera was missing, so I had to return it. They probably added the camera, and resold it.

The bottom half of the box was torn off, and the top half of the Sports case was ripped off.

Got Wild Arms 2 for PS1, discs are pretty dusty and one of them has a couple of light scratches as if it was dragged over the spindle when it was taken out of the case, nothing major. Case and manual look new, registration card is in there too.
Off topic I know but I scored about 3 :360:Devil May Cry 4 Collector's Edition for $29.99 at my local Walmart today.
Don't think the 360 version is worth much now adays. x:

Just got a package with 9 games from Amazon Warehouse, all perfect. It would be nice if they would put the sticker on the outside of the plastic though instead of the case itself.
Not anymore, up to $33 for both versions
Damn, it feels like the price never rose above $15 in the past month.

I'm happy they don't. If they did then we'd have a bunch of idiots trying to re-sell these games as brand new.
I think Brother Daz is referring to the boatload of Enslaved selling for $13.99 last week.
That and its been on sale a few times at $20-$25 new, I'm sure it wont be long before we see it on sale at that price again.

Got my $28 Dance Central in the mail and it still has the XBOX seal on the case. That's the second game listed as 'like new' I've ordered from Warehouse Deals and received brand new.

So was mine, but my copy had a run in with a fork lift. The bottom left corner was destroyed, but the disc is fine!
get the fuck out-are these the $30 Mario games that were being sold a few weeks ago???

if so damn-great flips.
Seems like it. Now I'm really sad that I didn't bite on that B1G1 deal Toys R Us had a few weeks ago.:bomb:
I'm happy they don't. If they did then we'd have a bunch of idiots trying to re-sell these games as brand new.
Oops should have thought of that. In that case I'd rather they just didn't reseal them and had no stickers. Just a hassle trying to get them off when I ordered lots of games. Most games had at least 2 large stickers on the case and some had 3. Still these were my first orders from the Amazon Warehouse and I'm quite happy and expect to order plenty more. Especially happy with the condition of the older original Xbox games I ordered.
Has anyone seen a copy of SMAS lately? I did a search and the last mention was mid december.
nope not anymore. that was the last batch sold for only a day.

You mean like some reported Nor-Scam doing with the Amazon game trades under the third party seller name PieceOfMindMedia?

Yup, I just posted about this in the DeepDiscountDVD thread today in fact. However, it's no secret that many people would try to pass these off as "new" if they didn't have that sticker stuck on the back, especially with some of the rarer titles.
