F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Anybody order a game from New Town Videos?

I just ordered a game from that seller. Let's see how New Town Videos and Nextworth turn out.
I finally ordered a couple more GBA games from POM Media. I'm pretty sure they are listing games accurately again. They have very few cartridge games that are not listed as acceptable. They definitely still have some games left over from when they were being listed incorrectly though. But I'm expecting the newly listed games I ordered to come complete.
I'd be a little cautious of them coming complete. I just had to return three GBA games today that came cartridge only. Two were listed as Very Good and the other Like New. In the the description for all of them it stated they came complete in original packaging.

I did receive my Like New copies of Brain Age 2 and New Super Mario Bros for the ds from Nextworth and they came complete in excellent condition.

I got a like new mario party 8 from them and it came in excellent condition as well. Even had an unused club nintendo insert. now im only 40 points away from platinum... so close.

you would be relatively lucky to find GBA games with the box/manual nowadays (especially from amazon/fulfilled sellers) - I wouldn't pin that against the seller ( if you weren't then sorry, i wasn't sure ) - i think "Like New" for GBA just means they work and are gunk-free lol

if ds games are listed as like new they should always come with everything, hands down

As I said I do think that they are now listing things accurately. However there are still listings up from when I know they weren't. One game I ordered, Phantasy Star Collection, just got listed. I also ordered a cheap Spyro game so it wouldn't get sent in a bubble mailer. I'm not positive that was newly listed but think it was.

Anyway, I just got a like new Classic NES Series: Super Mario Bros for GBA for $18.99 + cheap $2.49 GBA Need for Speed Underground in good condition (again to avoid bubble mailers).
So every game I've bought from here has had free two-day shipping with Amazon Prime. This one cost $3.99 to ship:

22 days for a 15 hour drive. Thanks, USPS.
It obviously won't take that long - unless it gets lost. Amazon gives conservative figures.

Does anyone know if you want to trade in a Nintendo DS Lite to amazon do you actually need the original box and manuals for the system in order to get credit for it?

You just need the charger, stylus, and a functional unit with minimal aesthetic damage.

I just received Call of duty 4 like new from New Town Videos.

Perfect condition, no scratches.

Except there is a small dent by the inner circle of the disc. Nothing vital is damaged do.

I dont know if i should trough the hassle of returning it.......ill just keep it, the disc itself is in wonderful condition do.

But then you get the lowest amount, right?

Small dent in the inner circle? Like a chip? IF it's a chip chances are the disc will eventually crack after use. You have a pic?

Its a small dent, like a crack. Very small do, and its between the xbox logo ring and the other ring that has a small barcode on it.
Can I exchange it for another Like New Copy if it was Fullfilled by Amazon?
They will probably just tell you to order a new one since its not a new item, and then just choose defective as a return option so you dont get charged return shipping

I think I'll just keep it. There aren't any scratches on it, just for that small dent and It also came with the Non Game of the Year edition case and its in good condition.

I got my order of 2 GBA games from Express Media. At least the game I wanted came complete, but the Spyro game I added to keep it from being shipped in a bubble mailer was cartridge only. Has anyone else ordered older cartridge games from them recently?

Again I know Phantasy Star Collection had just been listed before I ordered it and it was Like New and the description said it was complete. However I'm not real sure if the Spyro game was listed recently or not. The price was pretty good and it said it was complete so I was guessing it hadn't been posted long ago.

So far I don't think I've ever received a Like New game from them that wasn't complete. I believe I've only ordered 2 or 3 since they started not sending complete game though so not enough to tell. But I guess I'll just have to stick to Like New only.

I noticed they had a "Very Good" Legend of Zelda for NES that was supposed to be complete maybe a week ago. If any of you ordered that I'm curious how that came.

Got my Like New Copy of Suikoden today. I think it was $15.99? Anyhow, it was pretty much mint. Now if I could only get my hands on a copy of Suikoden II for $44.99 like some of you here.

Bought a circa 2002 GBA game recently from Express Media that came complete with box (described as like new in original packaging). No plastic outer wrap, and they slapped that big white label on the back - luckily it peeled off without damage.

Also picked up a Gamecube game listed as like new in original packaging, but it wasn't even in a GC case. It was one of those eco dvd cases with the cutouts in the plastic. Yeah, not original packaging, but the cover art was pristine and the disc had only minor scratches here and there.

So I've been thinking about buying a used Nintendo DS from Amazon Warehouse, but most of them are listed in "acceptable" condition. What exactly does Amazon think "acceptable" condition is? Has anyone ordered one of these DS's...are they missing parts like stylus, power cord, etc. ? Really beat up?

I've ordered from the Amazon Warehouse before, but the items I've bought--even the damaged box/open stock things-have always had a better, more detailed description than just "acceptable". Acceptable to me is a little bit vague.

Got a Ninja Five-O (GBA) from Express Media. Once again it said very good condition and complete but who knows. At least in this case it was a good deal anyway. Its the first time I've ever seen them have a price way lower than the next lowest seller. I wonder if someone else had one listed for cheap and that is why their price was low ($17.49).

If I order the Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Bundle (Used-Like New), what are the chances that it will not include Forza 3 or the Alan Wake download code?
If I order the Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Bundle (Used-Like New), what are the chances that it will not include Forza 3 or the Alan Wake download code?
it should include forza, however "bonus downloadable content may be redeemed" id say since its warehouse its a 50/50 flip that it could be a returned product (most likely wont have the code) or it is a damaged box (will be new so will have the code)
So if one were to have ordered a good 60gb PS3 from Nextworth for 129.99, would one be considered foolish?
in my eyes no, you got a ps3 for the price of a psp... or less then the price of a wii. $129 seems like a reasonable price if all you need is 60 gigs' and dont mind an older model
So if one were to have ordered a good 60gb PS3 from Nextworth for 129.99, would one be considered foolish?
One would feel foolish if Nextworth ends up shipping you an empty box....

Sorry, just being bitter about my recent Nextworth fail-experience. Seems like a good deal to me if it comes in working condition and is BC.
So if one were to have ordered a good 60gb PS3 from Nextworth for 129.99, would one be considered foolish?
I'd rather have a 60GB over a slim. Ps2 backwards compatibility. You can always upgrade the hard drive and if the system dies then you can send it to Sony for $100 for a refurb unit with a warranty. Not to mention a majority of the 60GB units that aren't broken usually go for $200 on ebay.

nextworth has some nice deals but they go way to fast, managed to pick up Call of Duty: World at War for PS3 for $11.46

edit: hmm just checked the available actions on my cod waw order and it says "request cancellation" what does that mean? its not going to ship?

Got my Transformers (360) today. Game is basically near mint. It was my first purchase from Nextworth, and I look forward to buying from them again.

I got that last time as well, and I was worried. It will ship do.

I got my Modern Warfare 2 copy "Like New" from Nextworth today.

It came in a knockoff 360 case and really banged up. The good thing do it came with manual and the disc is in perfect condition.

good to know, thanks

It means if you, yourself, wants to cancel, you can. Available actions is just a drop down menu letting you know what you can do at the moment. Once it ships that selection will go away.

What is a good price on a PS2? I can't pay 99.99 brand new. It is 80.99 like-new AWD. I really want to play the Kingdom Hearts series and my PS3 isn't backwards compatible.

$20 really is the difference between getting one and not getting one? And risking one with an aging laser?
Check the Target Clearance thread. PS2's usually go for $50 in some stores
They did. Months ago. They disappeared quickly because that price is incredibly low.
$20 really is the difference between getting one and not getting one? And risking one with an aging laser?
The thing is I wouldn't pay 80.99 used. I was wondering how low they've gone. I may just wait and see if the "new" price drops. A lot of the used like-new PS2 games are $7-$12 used on amazon from different sellers so that's good
