What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Yup, I didn't do anything fraudulent. And I didn't "mix and match" parts either: every console was returned in its original box with the same serial number printed on it.

I don't do this often at all. On average I probably return no more than 2-3 orders per year (if any at all), and I've purchased more than 50 items from Amazon this year alone.

Amazon can ban for this? That's unbelievable. :roll: Thanks for warning me about this.
 
Don't see what's so unbelievable about it. It's easy to take advantage of Amazon, of course they'd be pretty strict about suspicious transactions.

Buying 10 systems and returning eight of them falls under that category.
 
Sadly, my dreams of buying Infamous 2 on the cheap floated away....the price jumped up to $39.99 in my cart. WTF?

Under $30 - I'll think about it. Pushing $40 - you're freakin' crazy. Boo on this deal.

A 4-6% return rate for only purchasing 50 items is very high. You should watch it, but with buying the 10 3DSs and returning, you're probably already on their ban list. From Amazon's point of view, it looks like you're a reseller, and they don't stand for that.
 
I agree, Amazon tracks this shit like bloodhounds and next time you might find yourself shit outta luck when you really need to return something for a good reason.
 
I'd hop on the Portal 2 deal, but I really want the PC copy from the PS3 version...don't want to take a chance on it already (likely) being gone.

It's not like it's free for them to ship that stuff to you. You're taking advantage of people. It may not be against the rules technically but neither is taking 100 "free samples" from Baskin Robbins.

I had my amazon account banned in error. It took a lot of work and 4 hours on the phone to get it back. They thought I had multiple accounts because my brother started using his account from years ago with his old address (my address at that time) on it. They never even gave me a giftcard or anything for the trouble. a-holes.
 
I bought a $127 3DS on Friday and it said "Shipping soon" very shortly thereafter, with an estimated delivery of August 30th. 72 hours later, it still hasn't shipped, it still says "shipping soon" and the estimated delivery is still August 30th (tomorrow).

WTF?

You're joking right? I was a merchant on their site. I had over 200 items listed for sale that had to be relisted manually. Not to mention the sales I missed from the downtime.

An apology would have been nice at the very least since it was their error and the fact that they basically accused me of fraud wasn't very nice either.

I should mention the two accounts associated with the address were closed and I was basically told we were banned from buying or selling on the site (now it has been resolved).

I'm going to guess the guy used one of the return reasons that triggers free return shipping, instead of having to pay for it yourself. Probably an even bigger red flag.

Yeah, I chatted with a representative (Shanu!) and they shipped it out within an hour. Guess I just had to get on their asses a little.

so you're saying that after you paid 127 for the 3ds you also paid return shipping for all 8 3ds handhelds, effectively making your purchase a wash from buying it new!

So I received my "Like New" 3DS today and it appears to be brand new, no firmware updates or anything.

THAT being said, out of curiousity, I checked to see if it was eligible for the Amassador Program and according to Nintendo's website the system is a part of the program, even though it looks like the eShop was never installed on the system...

Perhaps I got the best of both worlds? I guess I'll see what happens on September 1st...

Received my "missing shrink wrap " Catherine le today. It really was just missing shrink wrap. Everything was brand new and the actual game Itself was factory sealed (yes I know the difference between resealing) so I saved 30 bucks so i'm happy. My gf has already stolen the boxers and shirt to wear to bed too lol

Remember they don't ship on Saturday or Sunday so you can't count those as shipping days.

If it says it'll be there on the 30th I'd expect it to be there on the 30th. My Prime just expired, but when I had it there were a few times were I ordered items with 2 day shipping and they waited to ship. Some times well into the first day to ship and they'd get it to me overnight or it'd come from a local center and only needed 1 day to ship. Trust the delivery estimate.

This is why I love release date shipping. Most of my packages end up leaving Nevada late in afternoon or evening and usually within 12 hours it's at my local UPS center. The first few times I freaked because I didn't think I'd get my game on time, but I caught on pretty quick.

off topic but i want to buy a used ds lite on amazon warehouse. it just says acceptable. does anyone know if it will be in really bad condition and include the charger or not.

At minimum it will include the charger; among that, expect the system to be in fairly good condition. Though, there is a slight chance it might come in a shitty condition.

Wow great deal. I played my roommates copy on 360 before he sold it and I must say I got rather bored with it. But usually when I don't purchase something I don't give it too much attention though. I have talked to some friends about the game and none of them liked it. The concept is pretty awesome, just wish things could change if you did cases improperly, etc.
 
i dislike the line of sticky tape residue on the spines of my ps3 games. not a big deal cuz i have cases galore, but the game is pristine new always except when that tape sticks on the sides...
 
shadows of the damned was discontinued so lots of people think the price won't drop but with 24,000 sold on xbox and ps3, it just screams for a price drop.
That said I just got the plat and it is a great game.
My Hot Boner shoots explosive sticky bombs ;)
plus Paula is hot as hell even tho she keeps drowning, bleeding, losing her head, etc through out the game ;)

wow, LA Noire for $24! grabbed it. I was even looking to get it for $30 at bbv or buy it from cheapestgamer, but 24 is the lowest of the options and for 'like new' ill def buy it. I picked it up twice before with deals, but the flip potential was too great. now ill actually keep it, play it, plat it, lol. thanks alot guys!
