F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Cosmo Black Like New $151.50

Not the most excellent deal, considering brand new is $170 retail...

Not sure the rest of the prices like good, very good, etc. as I don't watch them too closely.

That's pretty bad, considering you can get a $20 gift card when you buy a new one.

Hell yeah! Good job.
Scored a like new :360: Mass Effect 3 Collectors Edition for $28.80. Thought that was a pretty good price for that.
Got my 162 wifi vita earlier in the week and the thing looks like its never been kissed (or touched) very happy with my purchase thanks for posting the deal here :)

Thanks, midloo!
Let us know about the medium mark on the disk.

It was a 162 "good" vita but the thing has looked brand new,no scratches or anything even though it said it would have minor ones.

I actually saw a couple $162.49 Vitas earlier today. You'll probably get one eventually if you keep checking every once in a while. My "Good" version was flawless. The outside of the box looked like hell but the contents inside were mint.

Now I just need a damn 32 GB Vita memory card to pair with it.

Been checking all day with no luck

:) All of these people saying "The Vita needs a price drop!" Must not know about Amazon Warehouse :p I got mine less than a month after launch for $190 Like New. Even with a price drop, I doubt it would be a $60 drop. Anyone getting a 'good' condition for $162 is saving more than any realistic price drop would too!

Yea I know I got a brand new 3G/Wifi vita in march for $195 knew it wouldnt get much better than that anytime soon. The funny thing was it was listed as like new when there was not one mark on the box anywhere and all seals still intact could have easily been sold at retail

Edit: It's going to be awhile I believe even for WD before you see a wifi vita for $120 also if it dropped that quick why would anybody want it?It would be considered a failure then I say if you're looking for one take the chance if worse comes to worst you can always send it back for a refund

Double Edit: As I was just talking about my vita yesterday I sold it and resistance burning skies today for $250 think I did good getting that much back on it now my focus is in anticipation for that white one even if its not from AWD that little signature under my post will pay for it

Hit up a couple nice deals through this thread this week (as I usually do!), thanks to all of the posters.

Heads up on that "Good" Dragons Dogma for PS3, I cancelled the order since my wife just grabbed me a new copy so it might go back up soon.

Bought a 320 GB PS3 for $192.49 3 PM on Thursday, got here noon Friday. Seems new, the box was sealed with a skinny piece of tape and everything inside seemed untouched. Can't get over how quiet it is after 5 years of the 60 GB.

Thanks

Very good, the description indicated the box had a scratch which it did. The description is more important that the condition IMO.

26$ for mass effect 3 CE, I had used origin coupon and got it for 60$ at launch, crazy to see it this low as the others are much higher. Half tempted to get one on 360 even if I have one on PS3 lol.

Found Soul Calibur 5 CE Very good, 32.xx last night, finally bit at that price

:ps3: Game of Thrones Artbook Bundle 34.99 (Very Good)

Yeah, I was shocked when I saw those too. It's funny, because everybody was predicting skyrocketing prices for the game. Even when I was at BestBuy, the rep was talking about how they had two left and that he was going to get them at the end of his shift.

Granted his are probably still sealed, but this is still damn good. I don't even want to finish the series (stopped on ME2 for PC), but ended up picking this up from Amazon.

Can I use an Amazon.com gift card the same way as PSN cards work for the PSN? Just buy a gift card and then apply it to a virtual wallet, no credit card required?

I'm guessing that Amazon Warehouse is just another section of Amazon.com, never used a gift card with Amazon before. Thanks ahead.

Wow you may have actually got a new one. The SONY seal is clear tape about 1 inch thick and about 3 inches long. :applause:

for some reason i'm trying to imagine 1 inch thick tape and it just isn't popping up in my brain.

:whee:

I had borrowed my brother's ME3 before he went back to college and got (I assume) fairly close to the end, which everyone seems to hate but I really don't care I kind of just want to experience it with a controller in hand, so at this price I'm tempted to pick up an ME3 CE. We'll see...

Stack 5 of those thick double sided tape together.

Thank you so much to everyone who posted about the Mass Effect 3 CE's. I keep seeing them on this thread, but I couldn't resist any longer. I still haven't played Mass Effect 1 and 2 yet, but hopefully I can plow through all the campaigns while I'm off school this summer. How long do you guys think it will take if I rush through parts 1 and 2? Maybe 200 hours to complete the trilogy?

Depends how you play. I think I did about 60 hours completing just about everything for a single character in ME1 (all but one DLC), took him to ME2 and did just about everything (including all but one DLC) in about 50 hours, and I think ME3 (before I stopped playing and had to give it back) was on pace for about 30 hours doing mostly everything.

But I left my console idle for a bit, so I would subtract about two or three total hours.

Started a second character and stopped playing her sometime in ME2, but probably had about 70 hours so far and will go back at some point to take her through.

Also, I don't really care for the ME games but still have completionist tendencies so depending on how deep you go reading the codexes (I mostly skimmed or ignored them) and what side stuff you do (the amount of side quests get progressively smaller the farther in the series you go, it seemed to me) your time could be closer to 200 or closer to 100.

I might be reading this wrong, but are you saying it took you SEVENTY hour to get through ME2?!?!?!? I don't even know how it could take anybody that long; for me, a Mass Effect newbie (I only own a PS3), it took me 31 hours with every piece of DLC and completing every side quest.

Oh no, I started a second character in ME1 and by the time I stopped playing with her in ME2 my total playtime across both games was about a total of 70 hours. I basically was cruising through the games because I knew everything and didn't let the system idle. Got towards the end (had to finish up a few loyalty missions for about 3 or 4 characters and then the final battle) of ME2 with about 25 hours, I think, playing all but one of the DLC's.

I didn't really skip any of the dialogue in either of the games though despite it being my second time through, which I think took up most of the time. Also, I played ME2 on Insanity the first time through and the second time I played on normal and it was so much easier.

Has anyone had any experience with back orders? I ordered a Vita on Friday when I saw it for $163. In the description it said it was backordered, but more will me available June 10th. I just want to know what are the chances I will actually get a Vita. I'm keeping my expectations low.

If I recall, backordered for AWD simply means that they are transferring stock from warehouses. Don't see why you wouldn't get it.

Depending on how much of a completionist you are, ME1 will take 40-50 hours. ME2 30-40, ME3 took me about 30 I think.

Crazy the CE is so cheap. I paid $80 at release and feel like a fool now.

I was in no hurry to pick up ME3 since I haven't even had a chance to play the first two games. But for $26 for the CE I had to bite. Hope it comes with unused codes.
