F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Just got a "Used - good" XBox 360 4G with Kinect for $162.49. I didn't have a lot of time to read the description, but I think it said that the contents were in excellent condition but the packaging was in poor condition (Which is the only reason I bit on a "good"). I'll post a followup if anyone is interested in how it looks when it arrives.

Got my Mass Effect 3 CE today.

Condition: "Good"
Price: $55
Platform: PS3

Everything came in great shape, almost like new. Basically looks like someone opened it, and then returned it.

it included EVERYTHING, including all the DLC Codes, which I successfully redeemed. VERY HAPPY with this for $55. Could have been claimed "Like New" and I still would have been happy with it.
Looking to pick up Uncharted GA, does anyone if it requires an online pass?
nah, since there is no online multiplayer

So things in "Good" condition are generally fine? I've only ever purchased something as Like New and that was pretty much flawless.

Things I'm talking about have no potential DLC codes so no worries there.

Hmmm now I'm stuck in a dilemma on waiting for my amazon trade in credit have these been up for awhile and have this price been holding?
jeez all these success stories make me regret my 187 like new vita a bit.
oh well. not a huge difference.
I know that feeling. But to me, the extra $20 or $30 is worth it not to have to keep on the hunt for a lower price one, and the larger probability of it being awesome (it was.) Otherwise I'd have to live with its problems or return it and hunt again, and I'd rather just be done with it. Time is starting to really become valuable to me.
Nice score on ME3 makes me want to be on the look out for a good priced one now
I'd recommend it! There's still quite a few PS3 copies still in stock.

Very good and below is usually a gamble. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. The upside is usually worth the downside if you're willing to go through the trouble of contacting Amazon support for major problems.

thanks for this post. I may have to get one of these now!

Just ordered a vita FEB for $227 "Used-good and due in stock April 4th." Have a wifi that I bought at $175 that has already shipped. Figured for few bucks more, worth the upgrade. Just finished checking out and no more.

If anyone still wants, I would keep trying maybe even tonight.
Loving that UK version copy of Darkness. Doesn't that mean it's PAL? Smooth. Real smooth...
 didn't realize there's another one for $999 + shipping. You'd think they'd at least offer free shipping.

I had strayed away from acceptable for a long time, due to getting a couple of DOA products. But received two great scores today, a $48 ME3 CE that was sealed and just dented outer box, Im not anal so I dont care. And a FEB $209 bundle that was in excellent condition. Now to trade in little deviants to bb for 20, and sell the case for 50, $140 for a 3g vita + memory card woohoo.
Also sold my original wifi to a buddy for $25 profit, so even better.

Looks better than the sealed one I got from Amazon. Thing came without the N7 patch.... Been trying to get EA to send me one for a few weeks now. Though it did take 6 messages for them to finally understand what my problem was /idiots

Wishing I waited for a deal like this now lol
Nice find

Kind if off topic but I'm looking to snag a Vita via 1-click settings. Does Amazon take off any gift card balance you may have on your account before your credit card or do they just take everything off the credit card you are using 1st?

Thanks for your help.

Yes, they take any Gift Card balance you have.

I snagged a "Good" condition Vita with 1-click setting and had a $10 gift card balance.

It got subtracted from my total order so go for it.

Some one said they were looking for a PSP system. There are two variants up for grab.

:psp: PlayStation Portable Core (PSP 1000) (Used - Acceptable) $70.89

General description: "May not include manual, cover art, or case. Full game is included, but bonus downloadable content may have already been redeemed."

:psp: PlayStation Portable 3000 Core Pack System - Piano Black (Used - Good) $101.61

General description: "Includes manual, cover art, and case. Full game is included, but bonus downloadable content may have already been redeemed. Clear external signs of wear or damage to the packaging or instructions may be present. Game may have identification markings from its previous owner."

just checked my online credit card statement and saw pending charges for the Vita and thought that was strange because usually they don't charge until they ship. Checked my orders page and it is shipping soon! Much sooner than expected. This is awesome. If they all ship tomorrow (Vita/Memory card/Uncharted) with 2 day shipping they should be here Saturday/Monday! Super excited. I will post the condition it comes in.

This usually means New/Damaged stock. That's the same exact description I had on my Good Condition 4GB Xbox 360 that I got for $129 on AWD and it came New/Sealed with a dent in one of the corners of the box. That's one of the descriptions I specifically look for when browsing CEs/Consoles/Accessories/Etc...

You'll likely be very happy with your product when it arrives... :D

Anything above Acceptable is usually money. Amazon's standards are impossibly high, and as long as you read the specific descriptions, you can net some great condition items in Good and Very Good condition (including New/Damaged stock items which are my personal favorites).

There are exceptions of course, but with the ease of AWD returns and their solid CS giving credit to make things right, there's very little downside to taking those chances IMO...

Missed the $47.99 ME3 CE by a minute. I still managed to snag one for $51.99 (good) condition one so here is hoping it is intact DLC and all. :bouncy:

Also, some other CE's dropped in price somewhat.

:360: Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition (Used - Very Good) $55.99

:ps3: Final Fantasy XIII-2 Collector's Edition (Used - Very Good) $41.99

:ps3: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Collector's Edition (Used - Good) $27.72

:360: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Collector's Edition (Used - Acceptable) $23.62

:ps3: SoulCalibur V Collector's Edition (Used - Good) $51.99

Sweet! Good luck.

I am really sorry to ask this but I am super curious. Are the Warehouse deals good? I have come to this thread what feels like 6 billion times but have never ever seen anything worth buying. I swear to goodness I am not trolling. All the prices seem WAY too high and I just don't get the benefit of this. Are there hidden gems? Do you just get lucky sometimes? Thanks and sorry.

People are raving every single page about buying essentially new Vitas (which only came out last month) for 30-40% off retail and you're questioning if there are any deals to be had?

There are always great deals to be found on consoles and collector edition games. Pretty much you can save a decent amount on big ticket items.

My $187 Vita ordered on the 26th finally went to shipping soon. I certainly hope it gets here before the 4th. I have Vita searched and I keep refreshing to see if anything good pops up. I go get a bowl of cereal and a 32gb comes and goes. Lame.

little shocked how amazon cs people get away with stuff... so i finally hooked my new printer up and was able to print out a return label so i go into chat and said i want to return the item.. they ask what was wrong with it and i told them no memory card like it should been and was sort of dirty but the biggest reason was no memory card (was maybe expecting 30 buck credit to get a card)

Was told to package the item back up and send it to them when asked about a keeping it and getting memory card sent to me they told me to hold

i was shocked when they came back on chat was told

NO they can not send me a memory card but to just return the entire thing with the prepaid label and Place a new order and they would revise it down

so basic i placed a order for a new 3g/wi fi vita for 299 and they knocked 105 off.. so basic got a new system for 197 bucks..

wouldnt be shocked if i get an email in a few weeks saying my account is banned for this (usually when i have problems you seen maybe a 5 or 10 buck thing knocked off or an item sent (like memory card or something little missing) but i NEVER HAD 105 bucks knocked off something ..

You would have most likely got 20% taken off the total. That's what happened with my tablet. Awesome that they helped you out like that, though. Heck of a deal.

Do the PSP packs in Amazon Warehouse usually come with the games if they're in Like New condition? Looking at the Ratchet and Clank or God of War PSP Pack. I have $80 in credit so if they do I'll bite on one of those, otherwise I might as well just get a regular PSP for cheaper.

They should if the description is "Like New." I would expect it to come with everything it originally came with.

Just got my $175 Very Good Vita yesterday. Box was beat up, but besides that everything inside was in great condition. AR cards and cables were still in factory packaging, and the vita didn't have any marks/scratches.
