What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

I highly recommend De Blob. Very underrated game. You should also pickup Donkey Kong Country Returns and New Super Mario Bros, both are very fun.

I really fell in love with De Blob on the wii, and I just never got around to playing the second. Suprisingly, I haven't found anyone that's played it, I just want to know if it's just like the first.

I never finished the first one, but I'm struggling through the second one. I feel like the controls aren't able to keep up with the more ambitious level design as the game progresses.

Ahh, finally some input on the game. Did the first de blob just make you lose interest in the game, therefore you never finished?

I sort of just popped it in to give it a whirl. I had too many other games in rotation at the time.
 
I never finished the first De Blob, mainly because I almost never play the Wii and because I lent it to a friend and never got it back as of yet. However, I played and completed De Blob 2. I personally really enjoyed it. The only thing I really disliked about it, was that it was a LONG game. I found it to be just as fun as the first (even with lack of motion controls on the 360 version, comparing to the firsts on the Wii).

They fixed a lot that was wrong with the first game, but they also added some more small nuances. Overall though, I enjoyed it (I bought it at launch for full-price).

Just FYI, Fable 3 new is currently 15.00 flat. For some they would prefer to save the 2.00, but thought I'd throw it out there since the 12.97 isn't in like new condition but in good (which I realize Amazon sometimes has very little distinction between these condition grades). :)
 
I kind of want to buy that Assassin's Creed, but you could buy it for $30 pretty much since launch (it's been on sale so many times), and I haven't even beaten 2 yet and own Brotherhood! Hopefully by the time I beat AC:B this will be $15-$20 everywhere.

Yeah you could also get it from Best Buy this week for 20. Its on sale for 30 and there's a 10 off @gamer coupon.

I'll update with if it has the uplay pass or not. Regardless, thanks. I'm glad to have seen this as I was playing through Brotherhood waiting for the price to go down and then instead it went back up. I moved on to play some other games then, but I guess its back to beating Brotherhood :).

It does. The trial is 72 hours so give it a shot first to find out if you think it's worth it. I picked up an online pass on eBay for under $3.

If you don't see the confusion you should read amazon's definition of "like new". nothing about that package is "like new".

The contents appear to all be present (game, CD soundtrack, pillow cover, and mouse pad). The mouse pad looks kind of used... which really weirds me out (given the nature of the game... not to mention the fact that the other pack in is a pillow case lol).

^ Exactly. Amazon's own definition for Like-New is that it looks brand new, but for the missing shrink-wrap. Not "Looks brand new but for a truck may have backed over the package."

My reaction was similar to this. If the mouse pad looks used I would send it back, because something that is like new shouldn't look used. But package damage is often why these things show up on here to begin with.

But amazon specifically describes packaging damage as a major component of their quality distinctions.

He did not recieve a product even close to what was advertised.

Amazon would have sold that as "acceptable" at best, or more likely just scrapped the box entirely and noted so in the desc.

I have no problem with damaged things showing up on AWD. But the whole point of having a condition rating system is so that people can have some idea of what they are ordering.

Here is what Amazon classifies as Like New for video games: "Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift."

I've ordered a ton of stuff from AWD over the years, and for the most part the condition ratings are relatively decent. It's just shocking when they are so far off. This should easily have been Acceptable, which is three categories below Like New. ("Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item.")

I definitely see what you are saying, and it seems to me as though a "Good" rating would be more appropriate based on their condition descriptions. I was mostly just saying that I personally wouldn't care about box damage, especially when it was one of those thin cardboard ones that so many CEs come in.
 
since you can just return it to amazon, what is all the teeth gnashing in this thread for? this happened to me with GoW and I just returned it on their dime.
 
Does anyone know if the arkham city from AWD comes with an unused catwoman dlc, since apparently like new means its never opened....
