F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

How much are guys expecting these Vitas to go for tomorrow?

$170 and I am in :)

These FEB almost lost $100 off their value, so I hope its the same for a regular one, which I doubt.

Otherwise, I'll just wait for a good PS3.

Like New - 25% off
Very Good - 30% off
Good - 35% off
Acceptable - 40% off

For Example, FEB MSRP is $349.99, so Like New condition would be $262.49. WiFi version would be $187.49.
After leaving neg fb to 3rd party seller, said they will ship me a Gray Dock if I removed that fb first. :D
It's against the amazon terms of service to tie customer service to the removal of feedback. They can fix a customer service issue and then ask nicely if you might remove the feedback later, but they certainly can not say "remove feedback and then we'll do something for you."

Just an FYI in case anyone else runs into a similar situation.

Tomorrow? What time?! :hot:

I'm a :newbie:
Man I would have taken that. I'll settle for a $52 "good." There are 10+ of the ce's up right now.

There's also a Soul Calibur V CE for $50

I will let you know how it turns out. Anxious since this is the first time I am getting an "acceptable" copy from AWD. I haven't been disappointed yet with product described as "good" to "very good" in better condition than anticipated, if not as described, so taking a gamble since the game was recently released and hoping to strike gold. We shall see.

I'd say you have a 95% chance of getting the complete contents with the external box pretty beat up. Seems like they've waited until today to release all the damaged CE's on WD.

Yeah! I agree. Between :360: and :ps3: there were 10 different kinds from "Acceptable" all the way up to "Like New". Never seen it like that before.

Argh, tempted on this, but was burned by FF13 and never beat that game....However, the more open world and freedom is tempting.

I think this game probably sold terrible, so I would imagine this will drop like crazy in the coming weeks.
Here is one for :360:

:360: Final Fantasy XIII-2 Collector's Edition
(Used - Acceptable) $47.99
(Used - Very Good) $55.99
(Used - Like New) $59.99

Yeah, you have to expect that with a little-known unpopular franchise like Final Fantasy.
Gotta be photoshopped! Where's the link if not!:cold:
I think there's been a few sneaking through over the past few days - I've seen it pop up twice myself. Go back a couple pages and you'll find the link from the first sighting.

Haha, really now? You think sales of something like FF13/2 are as good as the sales of something like FF 7-12? Not even close my friend. Square is fumbling big time with this franchise and if you look at the sales, they are pathetic compared to previous entries.

This idea that Final Fantasy games are still triple A titles to look forward to is insane. Skyrim and Mass Effect are the new kids in town, now look at those sales.

you would have to imagine Square is just as lost as some of the fans if they think this game would be the next "Skyrim" in terms of popularity.

Not until they finally bite the bullet and return to the roots of something like FF7 or 6, it is a dying series.

However, I will pick this game up when it hits 30 or lower no doubt about it, as I do believe it was a step in the right direction compared to 13.

"Selling 1.7 million copies in Japan in 2009, Final Fantasy XIII became the fastest-selling title in the history of the series. As of May 2010, the game had sold 6.2 million copies worldwide."

That's from wikipedia, not the best source obviously, but the fact remains that 13 has sold incredibly well.

Don't forget that it was generally well reviewed and well received overall, 83 on metacritic.

There is this handful of really loud people online who haven't liked an FF game since 7 (or occasionally even 6) yet keep buying them and complaining. If you've played more bad FF games than good it's a sign that you're no longer the target audience.

FF XIII outsold Mass Effect 2, Elder Scrolls IV and Fallout 3. With that said I'll take any one of those 3 games over FF XIII.

By that logic, FF9 was no good too, which, imho 9 was one of the best in the series. (i would put X in that category too personally, but I know a lot of people didn't care for X to much)

If that's true that really makes me very sad.

However, I believe Skyrim will outsell FF XIII. Actually it probably already has considering they've shipped 9 or 10 million units (I forget which).

I'm hoping Mass Effect 3's big marketing push will make it sell a lot better then the second one. But anyone who hasn't played the second game is a criminal anyways. Yeah there's a lot of em that Zaeed needs to put out of their misery.

I just do not see how that is possible... It was so terrible.

Has thankfully outsold FF13... and if you were to count USA Versus Japan sales, it is obvious in the USA that Final Fantasy is on the decline, but this board is for deals, so lets stop talking.

Mass Effect doesn't sell as well as most people think it does. It's really not THAT big, we'll see if 3 changes that.

Anyway ME3 regardless will outsell 13-2, seeing as 13-2 won't even break a million in Japan.

It might've sold those games worldwide though, maybe not U.S?

It makes sense for FF to outsell those games no matter what on a global level regardless of quality...

The numbers are based on world wide sales and do not include PC sales. Sorry for taking us off topic I was merely responding.

Yea, I was just looking.....Oblivion is at 3.45 million US and FFXIII 2.5.....It makes sense for FF to outsell easily when you consider Japan LOVES FF but doesn't really care about Oblivion, ME (or the console they were originally released for)

EDIT: And sorry, was skimming when I posted and just realized you guys were trying to kill the convo.

They've already doubled the amount of preorders that Mass Effect 2 had.
