F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Is anyone else having problems with the Vita touch screen moving by itself? I just got my "Very Good" Vita today and the screen just goes crazy.

was playing fifa 12 and I noticed that my character will sometimes will shoot it
Then I realized about the read pad.

So hopefully that is it for you :D

I turned it off. It was kind of annoyin

Had a Vita in my cart again and decided to pass. I need to stay away from this site for awhile. Just getting paid today made it a harder decision. Not sure if I want a Kindle Fire, Ipad, or Vita.

It's not the rear pad because I can hold the Vita with just my thumb and index finger on the top and bottom and it will go crazy. Apps open by themselves and it thumbs through pages by itself. I looked around and found that some other people have this problem.

Go figure my first AWD purchase ends up being a defective POS. What really gets me is the fact that they listed it as Very Good with no damage to the actual unit. I guess they don't turn on the products to see if they're working because it took me 30 seconds to notice it.

Got my "Vita Travel Pouch" which I ordered off Warehouse Deals for $15. It's $20 new. (I'm that cheap).

No problems with it and saved five bucks.

Now ordering Enter The Matrix as someone posted above simply because I have Prime and it's so cheap.

I had that issue on mine when I left it on all night and tried to unlock it when I woke up in the morning. It would just input random numbers when I tried entering the first number in the unlock passcode but turning it off and on again fixed the issue and have not seen it since. Also bought it at Gamestop new so it was not a used issue. As for the scratching easily, my Vita either had a hairline crack or scratch (can't tell yet) that I have no idea how it got there and I have been very careful with it (case and screen protector).

Crap! I just noticed the black scratches on the screen on my very good vita that I got like 2 days go from AWD. I only noticed it when I completely turned off all the lights and tv in my room. Vita came in really good condition, not a single scratch on it. Just those black scratches on the screen. Probably going to bother the hell out of me.

If you can't notice them when the thing is on, whats the problem? The only thing that can really happen with keeping the system is helping cure you of OCD. ;)

I'm in the same boat as you. I own a HP Touchpad so I don't need/want a Kindle Fire/iPad. As of late, I really do want a Vita. If you buy a Kindle Fire, don't compare it to an iPad. Just not in the same category. Spec wise etc. I also see a lot of the Kindle Fires being returned because people don't know how to use them or they simply don't work. The Vita is so damn sexy though. I could see myself getting back into mobile gaming with a Vita. That's just my two cents though. Hope this helps you out.

I've tried turning it on and off again but it still does it. Hopefully I can snag another Vita once they pop up again.

Is the FEB bundle an OK deal at $250? I could buy it off someone for that price. Sorta want one from awd but I can never be on the site when they go in stock for cheaper :(

Hmmmmm.....White Knight is tempting but it does have an online pass and I would mainly want it for the online!
I'd definitely pick up that sfiv ce if I still had prime, but I think I'll have to wait to find something to pair it with. Hope it hangs on for a while.
I thought about getting it, but I'd really only want it for the figure. After reading reviews about it the figure is pretty pathetic so it's just not worth it to me.
Do 3DS systems ever pop up on here? And if so, how much?
Yes, usually $130 - $150 range

AFAIK, those black "scratches" are common with OLED displays. Most, if not all Vitas, have the marks. I got 2, and my Vita is brand new.

Yeah the iPad is just a little out of my price range. The iPad2 for $400 isn't bad but still a bit steep. So I thought the fire would be a good alternative. You think the fire would be a mistake though? The Vita is the front runner at the moment, but if I can get an iPad for a reasonable price I would jump on that.

Oh yes, definatly. They arnt scratches really, I have a few TINY blobs that i dont care about, only noticable in a dark room when the screen goes black. I wouldn't worry about em if you have them cause if you try and replace it, odds are the blotches might end up being worse.

Yeah, I have those black spots as well but are only noticeable if you try hard enough and find them when the screen is black. Not a problem at all.

Picked up a "very good" condition Mass Effect 3 CE for ps3. I'll post it's condition and lack (hopefully not) of DLC codes when it arrives if anyone is considering buying one.

There were quite a few up, so most unlikely its yours.

shoot, I just now realized I never read the description. *doh*

is there any way to read the description after having ordered it?

Just got the BLOD (Blue light of death) on my AWD Vita.

Apparently, its a bad idea to play while recharging or playing the Unit 13 demo.

If you get the blinking light stuck after shutting down, hold down for 30 seconds and your good to go.

On getting a Kindle fire, I'm gonna laugh at you. So many flaws...but it's cheap and functional to a point. Ps Vita is sexy as hell. I was totally in the same boat as you are right now. Also get the iPad 2 and wait for the 4. Yeah yeah I know this WAS a amazon warehouse thread, now it's become sexy vita thread.

Sent from my new iPad 2 = )

Unit 13 has a bug that freezes the game and requires a hard reset. It happened to me during the demo as well. (On my Brand New Vita)

However, I have not had it happen during the actual retail game but I also downloaded a update when I entered the cartridge. Not sure if that fixed it or not.

I love my kindle fire. I know it's a budget option, but it does what I what (thank goodness for sideloading). I've used an ipad, ipod, & samsung galaxy 10 extensively, so I know what I'm missing but don't care. Just my 2 cents.

I got an iPad 2 for $360 new from Microcenter. Definitely the better buy versus the 3 or "new" or w/e in my opinion. Fun goof off device.

Probably won't be getting a new handheld. I have a plethora of fantastic titles for mine PSP and DSi XL, yet dust gathering they do.
