F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot
That xiii-2 is tempting at that price, but I forced myself through the first....I was pretty disappointed...
Story still blows but the gameplay is good.
It just happens to be in my backlog and I haven't gotten to it yet. Wasn't saving it for collectibility or anything... :D

In fact, if it wasn't past the return window, I'd just take it back since I paid cash for that one. As it is, I'll probably just CL it, or if I'm really lazy, just flip this new Halo Reach game to GS for $16.80 after promos and keep the extra set of Limited goodies for $0.80 cents or so. That way I keep my sealed copy too.

Basically, I'm stupid, and I buy a lot more games than I have time to play because I'm a sucker for deals and I have all this credit to spend... :whistle2:#
hahaha, fair enough, we all suffer from backlog syndrome.
Getting the urge to play this again, but I'm holding out right now for a firesale on the epic edition.
Same, I've waited this long....
I'm going to be strong. If I get that ff13-2 its gonna sit in my backlog for lord knows how long....
It'll look nice in that backlog, though. C'mon, one more game is not gonna hurt you.

Here my new list. Could be added to OP.

Wifi (LN = $188 ; VG = $174 ; G = $162-$167 ; A =)
Wifi/3G (LN = $225 ; VG = $210 ; G = $195; A = )
FEB (LN = $246 ; VG = #231 ; G = $215 ; A = )

I just noticed that the difference is $15 for each step.
does anybody know the main differences between VG & G? just curious
It really varies, I don't think there's much of a difference unless noted in the details. I've actually have "acceptable" items show up in better shape than "like new" items. Generally it's pretty accurate though.

Hope this helps:

The sale of some items in our Computer & Video Games store is restricted to pre-approved sellers only. Learn more about pre-approved selling.

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.
Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Product may not include downloadable content.
Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Product may not include downloadable content.
Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Product may not include downloadable content.
Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Product may not include downloadable content.
Unacceptable: Video games that are not playable or are incomplete, including shareware and freeware versions, are unacceptable, as are games not published by the original manufacturer, including recopied media in any form. Promotional media is prohibited for sale through Amazon Marketplace as well. Additionally, video games in which essential accompanying material is missing (this does not necessarily include the box or instructions) are not permitted.
Please note: buyers outside the U.S. cannot purchase video games via Amazon Marketplace.
does anyone know if new ffxiii-2 comes with a free dlc code? If not, I'll just buy it from amazon warehouse.
It doesn't. The only code it should come with is a Square Enix Members reward code.

Which is worthless IMO. Last time I went over the rewards program details I wasn't impressed. And your points expire yearly
That's actually for FFXIII-2, which you could've bought NEW from BB last week for $15 after the $15 off @Gamer coupon AND even got the novella edition for that price.
It'd actually be $20 since you have to buy the magazine to get the coupon. But $3.50 extra for a Like New copy is still a good deal considering you don't have to waste gas.

Not if you subscribed and got it in the mail.

Do people drive freaking Expeditions or something? Driving to my nearest Best Buy maybe costs me $2. $4 if I go to the closest full size one.

It takes me 45 minutes to get to my nearest Best Buy. The stores aren't that prevalent, and they still have to close some. It's not Wal-Mart. ;)
Even living right outside knoxville its still 20 minutes or more to the nearest best buy in good traffic. Never worth it for me :(
Be glad it's only 20 minutes, it's around an hour and a half for me, which pretty much makes Best Buy not even an option thanks to Gas Prices... >_> I have to drive an hour just to get to Gamestop or K-mart. All we have 'round here is Wal-mart.

do any of the Vitas last more than 15 minutes? I'm considering just getting one off craigslist except people are asking $350-$450 for a Vita with 2 games and a 4gb or 8gb memory card

Most Vitas last seconds actually. Maybe a minute or two tops. There are a lot of people trying to find these. Even old consoles like the 360 and PS3, when sold by AWD, only last minutes. Vitas seems common now since there are a lot that Amazon is offering, but they sell out in seconds really.

oh I don't think so they want pretty much retail for their used systems. I got one guy down from $400 to $250 for a 3G Vita with a starter kit but he wont include the 2 games (Uncharted and MLB: The Show) saying he will sell those to cover his losses. I offered $275 waiting to see what he says, people need to understand that once you open and use an item it loses a lot of its value its like a video game you buy it for $60 but as soon as you open it just lost about $20 in value

yeah I guess I am just going to have to check more often, I did get lucky about 2 years ago and snagged a Xbox 360 S 250GB for $188 so just going to have to keep at it or settle for one off craigslist

Thanks guys, I ordered Silent Hill HD & Dark Souls Collectors Edition. I still have the original Dark Souls game that I got for full retail since BB didn't have enough Collectors :'(. So fingers crossed that it does come complete.
Thanks, I ordered the LN one. These should come complete unless the description says otherwise, right?
Hah, we're literally neighbors, I'm in RR. But yes these should come complete, what's awesome about Amazon is they are generally nice even when rating the condition of the item, I've had items say "Good" that come in almost like new conditions, so you -should- be fine.

Howdy neighbor, thanks for answering. :)

Yeah, I've had nothing but excellent experiences with AWD's games. I have never ordered a CE from them before, but I have high expectations.
Can promo credit he used in the warehouse?
No, it would only work with regular Amazon as the seller.

GCs work of course though.

Maybe Expeditions while towing a horse trailer behind it.....
