F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Not trying to be a douche, but the search function will help a lot. That's what I use. I would help you out but I'm on my phone.

Got my "good" ME3 CE today, packaging was more like acceptable, but the online pass, soundtrack, normandy, and DLC was unused, so that's good enough for me...now to send the standard back I got a couple weeks back that just had the extra disc thrown in on the second disc holder without clasps.

I just got a copy in mail for :ps3: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition that was like new for $37.45 and it is brand new with unused DLC. The only flaw it had was the plastic wrap on the box was slightly ripped. Big deal. Very happy with the purchase. Thank you Amazon. :bouncy:

I've got a 3G vita for $194 and uncharted for $32 waiting for me at home. Hope the vita has a memory card and is in good condition! Ordered monday

Sweet, my Vita order from yesterday just updated to "Shipping Soon". Still has an expected delivery of 4/23 but hopefully that will be updated too.
I wonder if they will ever actually ship the Vita I put in an order for yesterday...
I ordered mine yesterday as well, then saw ppl saying orders were being canceled. I emailed CS with my concerns. I got the following reply back and just saw my status is now "Shipping Soon". I'm a Prime member and had the 2 day shipping, they upgraded to the 1 day for free!

Hello, I see you placed this order with our subsidiary Warehouse Deals. Warehouse Deals' inventory constantly change. However, you may expect the package to be shipped from Order #xxxxxxxxxx shortly. I've upgraded the method of shipment for this order to One-Day Shipping to help make up for the delay. There's no additional charge for this. The new revised delivery estimate for your order is April 17, 2012. We'll send you an e-mail when your order is shipped with your tracking number. Your order could ship any time between now and right before the estimated delivery date.
What's the consensus on FF X-2? People snagging it? Didn't jump on the BB deal since I would've had to buy the coupon and pay tax. It would just sit in my backlog particularly since I still have to play XIII...but the temptation is always there .
I got to the end of FF13 but couldnt get motivated to finish it.
I bought FF13-2 two days ago from warehouse for 22.49 "like new" . Just got it today. But it is suppose to be better then 13. And at 22dollars its a pretty easy decision to buy it.. and sell it later for 10bucks or whatever later on.

The ending to 13 was fine although the final boss was IMO a pain in the ass and I had to look it up in a walkthrough. If memory serves, there was a sort of randomness to it that you had to be way over-leveled or get lucky that he didn't do certain attacks in a certain order that basically game-overed you. I didn't think it was that great of a game and sold it immediately after finishing it. As for 13-2, I haven't bought it yet and have not decided if I want to get it or not. Maybe I'll wait for 5 or 10 dollars.
I'm not asking for specific deals but have you AWD hawks noticed external hard drives for sale?
Question is what size and price range. I see external hdd for 500 gb up to 3 tb going from ~ $60 up to ~ $150. Check "Warehouse Deals › Computers › Peripherals" for anything you fancy in particular.

Got my like new Vita but it had a lot of scratches on the back of it. Was just going to return it, but thought I'd at least email them. (They would not be able to sell it as like new, I guess they could try to again but it shouldn't be in better than very good condition)

They gave me 20% off. I took it. Still would have preferred to pay 187.xx and had it like new, but ah well.
$14 a good price to pay for a Like New Gears of War 2 Limited Edition?
It has a very nice steelbook and art book, so I'd say yes if it's actually in like new condition.

Picked up a Red Wii bundle Like New for 169. Should have never sold mine about a year ago. Hopefully my experience is similar to to others who have ordered Like new systems from AWD

Was anyone surprised at how light the Vitas are? My friend lent me his a while after class today and I was shocked at how light it was unlike the old PSPs

I finally caved in & bought my 1st Wii when that red version it came out. I love it & won't consider selling until I know more about the WiiU next month at E3. I'm hearing mixed results at this point but who knows until then.
I was considering that one, but I just couldn't justify the purchase when I want to replace my Wii altogether with the upcoming WiiU shortly.

Hope it comes in pristine condition for ya.

I mean no offense, but what rock have you been living under ;). It's a new system.

it's not uncommon for people to be confused about the WII U which is why nintendo is considering a name change; frankly i still have no idea what they are trying to accomplish with the Wii U, are they going for the hardcore audience or are they trying to keep the casual players? trying to do both?

I'm mostly looking for 2 to 3 TB and just wondering if the deals you've seen are good. Because I'll start looking out for them if so.

There are deals to be had but again you have to be looking for it as availability changes. Right now these caught my eye for your specific specs:

:pc: Western Digital WD Elements 2.5 TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive (Used - Very Good) $134.55

:pc: Western Digital WD Elements 3 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive (Used - Like New) $157.99

WD? YES. I was able to get a refurbed 2TB WD Elements from Staples for $50. I bought it Christmas 2010 and haven't had any problems since. It's surprisingly worth it to just ask at local B&M stores, especially if you live in a less technologically advanced state.

Bad part is about the floods in Taiwan jacking up prices. Hopefully people didn't pay for the higher costs and prices will return to pre-flood levels and lower.

It's mostly movies.

I'm either very indecisive or just go with the flow, because Pandora is mostly all I need.

Twisted Metal Very Good for $28.

PS3 Wireless Headset very good for $56 or like new for $60.

5x very good vita 3g/wifi bundles for $209.99

Also a Silent Hill Downpour for Xbox but it's $45.

Good to hear. I was tempted but I have way too much to play already and also I'm pretty broke now. Not too sure why I got another PS3 but the price was awesome so why not I guess. If nothing else I know someone that is looking for one.
