What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

How was that a huge spoiler? IIRC everyone knew about Raiden before MGS2 came out, or did they? I was in middle school, can't remember back that far. It was actually my first PS2 game, and I had had the PS2 for a year :p but regardless, if I spoiled anything, sorry. It's not that big of one. They asked why 2 wasn't liked as well, and that's the reason...I mean if you DID play as Snake the whole time I think it would've been better. I could've spoiled a *lot* more, I thought I was keeping it easy..ha
 
It might not be considered a spoiler now, but it was the ultimate stab in the back for fans back when it first came out. I remember every single bit of news and info that was released for Sons of Liberty leading up to its release, and must have played the demo hundreds of times. Every preview for the game had Snake in them, and you never ONCE saw Raiden until the final shot of the intro to the game itself. Even then I thought it was a still unknown female character in the game.

I will forever praise Kojima for having the balls to actually pull such a Hitchcock type move, but it's a shame that the end result was so bloated and convoluted.
 
i don't see how controlling a different character in MGS2 affected the game or atmosphere of the MG(S) universe in any way. Even when I played it back in the day, I felt it was a natural progression in that storyline. Sure, he was a pansy, but no where near a risk for the developers, IMO.

he actually wasn't that bad. the problem was the voice over. in japanese the guy that plays him has a much deeper and manlier voice. the american/english guy sounds high and whiny.

It doesn't change the gameplay, because it's still a lot of fun to actually play, but the game's world was fine without him in it. The MGS universe was perfectly fine without him, the fact that he's in it just shoehorns in so many terrible plot points and revelations.

Yeah, because Raiden was such a manly character in the first place. I know that when I listened to Raiden and Rose talk about their first date for 10 minutes I wished how their voices were different so I could completely ignore the god awful script.
 
WOOHOO!! I just grabbed a like new xbox 360 250gb kinect bundle from AWD for $123.

I wasn't looking for a xbox but man that's a good price.

Sorry, I'm just happy to get a really good deal.

MGS is nothing but terrible plot points and revelations.

The gameplay has moments of pure brilliance that make the experience worthwhile. But the plot is crap.

Oh man the AC:R is tempting because I just picked up Brotherhood and it would be great to play them back-to-back.

However it seems whenever I bite on one of these pricedrops, a week later they release a GOTY version with all the DLC.

to my knowledge there has never been a AC GOTY edition for any of the games, so I doubt they start to make one now.

FYI - AC:R is $19.99 new from Amazon this week.

Ubisoft never released a GOTY edition for AC series but I have seen them offer sales on PSN bundling the game and all DLC around the summer time each year. I remember AC2 with all its DLC was $10, AC Brotherhood with all its DLC was $10-$15.

Whoa, there are seventeen listings for Blazblue and all of them are from Warehouse. Not 17 copies, 17 listings! How did they get so many copies?

If I remember correctly, when the limited edition game was first released a lot of them were damaged via amazon shipping, so there were a lot of returns.

Pretty good price for the latest Blazblue LE though. I bought it when it was @ $35.

That's correct. I purchased one about a month ago and the box was trashed. I mean it looked as if it were run over but all of the contents were fine and the game itself was still sealed. Just read the description carefully when you decide which you will purchase. When I purchased I had around 20 listings to choose from and some of the descriptions varied as to what was possibly damaged. Without logging into my Amazon account I think I paid just under $27.00.

So I'm thinking about buying a 250 gb slim hard drive for my 360 from gohastings.com through amazon. I've ordered games from them but never any hardware, can anyone vouch for their quality on used hardware?

Assuming that you're talking about this one, since Gohastings is the first seller listed on it, if you feel the need to buy Microsoft branded products I would go ahead and shell out the additional $$$ for a new one in retail packaging even though GoHastings should stand behind whatever they end out shipping you for the obligatory 30 days.

However, if you're just looking for something to stick in there then you can buy a 360 slim compatible HDD enclosure for under $5 and get a brand spanking new 2.5 inch/"notebook"/"mobile" HDD that will either have up to twice the capacity for the same price, be noticeably faster (at least I thought the official drives were only 5400RPM vs 7200RPM), or be varying degrees of cheaper. If you're willing to troll slickdeals or whatever deals site you prefer for a few days while studying up on how to install an OEM drive into your 360 (even just keeping an eye on newegg or tigerdirect by yourself should yield something) you might even be able to get something that's bigger (capacity wise, don't buy a 3.5" drive for your 360...), faster, and cheaper.

All that said, I'm being hypothetical (perhaps even hypocritical) here since I've never tried installing the likes of a 500GB WD Scorpio Black into an Xbox of any kind, or even a PS3 (which if nothing else you don't have to buy a spooty enclosure for first), since one of the main reasons for gaming on a console instead of a PC at this point (so late into the lives of the current generation that even a budget gaming PC has better performance) is not having to tame and/or master all of the hardware components that lie inside of it. Well, there's also the ongoing DRM debate but that's another topic...

Then again, a 16MB cache is nothing to scoff at in terms of the 360, and if I could get a 128 GB SSD that wasn't driven by the notorious Sandforce SF-2281 controller for under $100 (I've missed out on EVERY sale of the Crucial M4 that's taken place so far :cry:) I wouldn't hesitate to buy two and toss one into my PS3...
