F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot
lol..your avatar and your comments contradict your claims, but yeah, okay. Good for you :D
And my linking my PSN handle doesn't stand for anything either, huh?
When it comes right down to it aren't most systems kids toys? Sure there are games made not for kids, but without kids probably none of these systems exists.
PCs, prolly.
I picked up s used good one at that price awhile ago and it wad in great shape, just with a beat up box. I haven't seen one cheaper. Love it, play hot shots golf, lumines, and spend hours on disgaea 3 :)
^What he said. Most of the Vitas in good condition have little to no cosmetic damage. It's almost always a crushed box or something to that effect. Not sure if dead pixels are an issue or not, though.
I don't own a 3DS, actually. Just trying to make sure you understood how your post made no sense. The 3DS doesn't use overpriced memory cards. I'm also not a fanboy by any means, but it's nice to see that anyone who doesn't like what someone has to say about their choice in toys resorts to regurgitating that same old defense. Good ol' gamefaqs logic.

Was gonna post a first edition bundle I saw there, too, but I think someone snatched that one up.
You're also using GameFAQs logic with that paper weight business. You probably wouldn't have agitated anyone if you simply said the system is lacking games or is overpriced (through the regular hardware or otherwise), but the 3DS had that same problem as Nintendo was initially overcharging for what you got in their package.

Outside of a good run at the end of last year, 3DS hasn't had too much coming out this year either (so far) and most franchise releases have been enhanced ports instead of side games. Neither is on the level of the prime DS/PSP yet, but that should be expected since it's only been a year for one and less than half a year for the other.
And my linking my PSN handle doesn't stand for anything either, huh?
I've seen people who have owned both hate on a system from either side for upwards of 6 years, yes years, on a daily basis. Owning something does not make us immune to bias. I mean I like all of my systems, but I'd definitely criticize my Wii most, and prefer third party releases to be on Vita over 3DS. I preferred 360 for most of this gen, but in recent years my PS3 has gotten a lot more attention due to my consistent interest in Sony's IP's.

I seriously wasn't spitting vitriol in my original post. I was being facetious, but of course someone always has their feathers ruffled over something so ridiculous.

Facetiousness is essentially being annoying on purpose, though. If you're among friends, it fits, but on the internet it's always going to end up bothering people that have no idea who you are or what is or isn't a joke to you.

I do think that they need to drop the price of the cards, but everyone does. They did it to ensure that there would still be profits early on, so before any cuts we will most likely see more bundles until the holiday season. I'd recommend waiting until then anyway unless you have interest in at least 3 or 4 games currently out or almost out (Resistance, Gravity Rush) and have next to nothing else to play. My only real disappointments with the system so far have been the lack of PSN games/updates for it, and not enough PSP game price drops.

Okay, let's not turn this into one of those argument.

@specialist
You totally over reacted to what I was saying, the 3DS was just an example to his logic.
Without games or the expensive memory card, this thing is just an expensive paper weight. Right?
What I was trying to say is:
If you take away games and memory on any system, it becomes nothing more than paper weight. Except the PS3, it can still be used as a bluray player.

Here's what I said:
You can apply that kind of misguided thinking to any console.

So let's all be friends and enjoy looking for deals and gaming.
I didn't read your post, the Vita just seems like a dumb thing to buy. You'd have to shell out another $70+ (games, memory) just to be able to use it.

$70 for what?

A $10 4GB is enough to get started.

A comparison of the bare minimum need to get started at launch.

I bought my 3DS for $250 + $40 samurai warrior, that's about $300 (with tax) to get started with a 3DS.

The PS Vita was $250 + $20 memory card + $40 Uncharted, that's $320 (with tax) to get started.

The difference is $20, just to be able to use it.

Right, but the point is the Vita requires memory to play many of the games, yet it is not included with the system. I don't know how or why anyone would try and defend that. Sony fucked up and I hope they continue to pay for it with shitty sales until they fix the problem. The 3DS on the other hand includes memory.

And yes I know MS did almost the same thing with the Xbox and that the Wii sucks balls. A greedy or shady or stupid thing is just that no matter who does it.

just throwing this out there but 2 of the 3 vitas out come with memory cards and more than likely the way the prices are dropping on them every bundled system probaly will come with a memory card so you won't have to be shelling out any extra money on those.the vita is pretty nice IMO it has the potential you can't expect a new born baby to just pop out and at first breath start tap dancing right?

I'm not defending that, I agree with you on it. I think sony fucked up for not including a memory card too, but what I'm saying is, buy a $10-$20 memory card and problem solved. It's not like you need a $90 32GB memory card to get started.

And to say the PS Vita suck or is a bad buy because it doesn't include a $20 memory card is a pretty ignorant statement.

Just got my Prototype 2 CE, "Very Good". The thing is literally brand new, the game is still sealed. The only thing that was missing was the slipcover with Heller. I'm pretty damn happy right now. Thanks Dealseeker!

I just got my order from amazon warehouse it was Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend LE it was Like new for $37.49. It ended up to be new and only very minor damage to the top of the box. I was a bit worried that it was going to be damaged since amazon did shitty packaging on the ps3 version of the LE.

Where is Max Payne 3 at? I've been waiting for one to pop up for almost a week now. Anyone got one from AW lately?

But isn't Sony more likely to offer bundles (e.g., free game w/ memory card) than a straight-up price drop?

My gf and I ordered two copies of the LE in "acceptable" for $21.50 each. Hopefully the "large wrinkle on set case" is the only problem with it :S.

I'm just going by industry standards. 3DS sold decently when it released, and then sales took off after the price drop and game releases.

Sony needs to announce a deluge of titles for late summer/fall and a good enough drop in price to hike those sales up. What else can they do to sell them at this point?

Price was the factor for me vs packaging. I'm not concerned about the outer damage, just hope it didn't damage any of the contents. Either way its a steal @ 21.50

Thank you ShockandAww, I picked this up from your posting;PS3 160gb very good - $175.
Missed out on a 320 Drakes Fortune Bundle yesterday from a storefront called F & S Warehouse. Ordered it at 6pm yesterday, this morning there was no evidence that I had ordered anything and my money was back in my account. But at the price (110 + 8.99 shipping, I should have known better. Just letting fellow CAG's know not to do business with them, if they should show up again.

The PS3 just recently got a price drop, it would be 10% chance of getting one. The 360 is definitely due for a price drop, especially to throw off buyers into getting a kinect + 360 bundle instead of the Wii U this holiday season. Wii price drop wouldnt do much, its too little too late, that ship has sailed. Might as well keep it at the current price to make the Wii U look like a better value.

When did this occur? I haven't seen a price drop since last summer.

if they dropped the WII down to 99 or 79 you would see a lot of people buy it.. I know if they dropped the core down to 80 and the package deal to 99 i probally finally buy a wii

it occured the 3rd week of April when Gamestop had a sale and PS3 dropped to $199.99 and you could either get Mortal Kombat Komplete or Uncharted 3 for free. I think a few days later Amazon priced matched it, but that didn't last long at all.

Yeah that was just a GS sale, not a price drop by Sony.

Damn, yeah I'm going to pass on that then. Would cost me the same as buying a new copy after getting the online pass. Really wanted TM too. Appreciate it.

Yes, and in fact the copy I bought from Amazon, Like New, a few weeks ago seemed new because it was shrink wrapped. However, when I opened it and tried to redeem the online pass, it has already been used. Of course, the TIV was $28.50, and I bought the game for $30, so it was almost a free three week rental. Definitely would've liked to have tried it out online, though.
