F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I don't know if you'll get full graphics in skyrim as they are pretty cpu/graphics intensive, but it will still look amazing regardless.
From what I saw it said it had a 500GB had and a 64GB SSD....I coulda SWORN I saw that!!! :/
Didn't see anything like that...you think with an 18" chassis there'd be at least plenty of room for a second drive.
Is it like new? I'm not sure I would want an Acceptable version.
I know, was just joking with you. It's something to be excited about, i already went through my excitement when it came to PS3. X360 users should be happy now, get your .edu email address, get prime for $40 a year and drop netflix. To make it warehouse deals related Prime get you free shipping.

Does NF have much that prime doesn't? The main reason I keep NF is because it's easier to keep a queue, which they seem to be working on with the watch list..

Yeah Netflix overall is better than prime instant imo. Don't ditch one for the other unless there's something specific you're looking for that only one has.

Of course if you factor in the overall value, Prime Instant is better because it's cheaper and you also get the free 2 day shipping on orders. Just going by Movies/TV shows though I think Netflix has more.

Here is a link to the "free" with Amazon Prime movies if you're curious.

Personally I use Netflix more because I have a kid that watches certain shows, but there are definitely some good movies on Prime Instant Video also.

I'm a Prime member I just don't use it much for vids :)

They have some things Prime doesn't. I'm not sure Prime has the AMC originals locked, if you have kids or are a child of the 80's NF has all the HUB stuff (GI Joe, Transformers G1, Transformers Prime, MLP for the Bronies, Beast Wars, etc) and NF just signed a deal with EPIX which will give them Thor, Captain America, Transformers Dark of the Moon and Hunger Games, not sure if Prime is getting any of that.

As a casual streaming user i'm probably gonna drop netflix and pick up Prime at the student discount of $40. Would be nice if they get an app for Vita though.
1k+ items, huge update right now, in case anyone is looking for anything.
dude thank you for the update I scored a good good vita earlier with marks on the front but I saw a like new one up and would rather take my chances with a like new.

Grabbed the Metal Gear HD Collection for $22.50

Which version is better PS3 or 360? I went with PS3 becuase I figured since they were originally on PS that it was the best bet.

I forgot about the online pass for Twisted metal. I really hope it's just a scratch and dent new model like they usually sell like new copies and that it comes with the pass. Now I'm worried.
someone already posted prototype 2 I see oops. 18 copies for Xbox still available though.
Wow.. Thanks for the heads up.. $22.49 for protype 2 is a great price.

Great deal. Wish I still had Prime!!!

they include the code to play online if it requires a code to activate, right?
I ask because they just had a ME 3 - Like New for $23, and i jumped on it. $7 cheaper than i've ever seen it. really not THAT much better, but the thrill of the hunt convinced me :p

They aren't required to, but sometimes it happens. Crapshoot, really.

i've been avoiding stuff that has an online/DLC pass cause chances are it won't come with one and it'll be +$15 to get an online pass. might as well just buy it new. yeah, you saved $7, but you might not even be able to play online without a $15 pass. (i believe it's $15). their anti used game stuff is working. i guess if you dont care for online its cool.

They are usually $10 and can usually be found on ebay for less than that.

Just bought RE 5 : Gold Edition PS3 for $12.30. Was waiting for around 10 for it since I have not played it... Is it a good price for the gold edition or has it been lower ?

This is the lowest it has been. Last time the lowest it got was $15, so good find.
ps3 version of re5 gold is an extra disc, while 360 is a redeemable code, or also an extra disc?
Just read the description. Apparently everything is included in the disc...

Also read that the gold content is not worth it if not playing online, which makes me wonder if I should cancel this and order the standard edition which is $3 bucks less. :D

Almost right. PS3 is all on one disc while the 360 content is redeemed with a one time use download code.

Gold has move compatibility and I believe the Jill Valentine addon which adds a bit more to the story.

While I was waiting for the DLC to go on sale on the PSN store, the Gold Edition surfaced at Newegg for $15.99 new, so I just bought that and traded in my standard edition to GS.

I'd recommend you keep it unless you really don't care about those episodes.
