F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Try to redeem the code on your console dash. If the code is redeemed, it'll tell you. If it's not, it'll take you to a confirmation screen.

I'm not sure if it's still the same as back in a few years ago, but you could do it through your XBOX 360, when you input the code it should ask you if you want to redeem it or not. At least it used to do that back with the old dashboard and NXE.

I think if you tried doing it through Xbox.com it automatically redeems it.

Thanks guys, checked the codes on my xbox and looks like they are still fresh and not used. Now I know how to check codes in the future!
LBP Vita has an online pass heads up.
Thanks man. Yea I didn't know this before but the way I look at it, I was gonna buy the game for $40 regardless....this way I spent $29.99...there is a slight....very slight....chance the online pass is included. If not I play without it and see if it matters....if I want it I pay the $9.99.

It just gives me an option this way, and if I decide I don't need it I get the game for $29.99 which is solid.
Damn been waiting for a lower price on this...someone already snagged it!
Lol....sorry that was me! I literally snagged it minutes before someone posted it was up on AWD. I saw it and snagged it immediately. My wife is gonna be happy to pair it with our AC bundle vita that's coming tomorrow! :)

You might need to use it on a new copy via Amazon to work, not on the warehouse front copy since it is considered promotional code. Promo game codes don't stack on WHDs unless it is a gift card.
PS3 Super Slim 250GB w/ Uncharted 3 GOTY Very Good $181.97

Skylanders Giants Starter Kit Wii U Like New $55.00

I got my PS3 care package today that was $135 Like New and it was brand new. No idea why it was even in the warehouse.
same i got a good xbox 360 care package for $117.00 Brand new sealed, looks like a regret purchase, whoever repriced them was very generous.

I need a bigger memory card too but I really can't justify $60 at this point, even if its a deal. I guess i'm going for a smaller one if there are no foreseeable sales.

That PS3 slim is a great deal. The voucher could be gone but just for a 250 gig alone its a decent deal.

Just an FYI for you guys who missed out on the Vita LBP - Best Buy has a $10 off coupon for it posted for Reward Zone members (you have to log into the RZ website and go to Offers and accept it). That would land you a new copy, with online pass, for $30.
Well I'm going to rest now so that means a Vita memory card will surely pop up shortly just in time for me to miss it.
How did I know? Welcome to my life. Honestly though I saw someone got one for under $50 so I wouldn't have felt great buying it.
New here.. what is exactly amazon warehouse? Are there any downsides by ordering there instead of the "normal" website?
Check out the first post of the thread.
New here.. what is exactly amazon warehouse? Are there any downsides by ordering there instead of the "normal" website?
It's used (returned most likely), open box, or damaged items I believe. The benefits far outweigh any negatives though. If an item comes and it's not as described you just send it back at their expense. As far as video games go though games that include DLC or online passes and such may not have it included or the codes may be used.

They sell in various conditions - usually the conditions are exactly as they say.
Like New = maybe some dented packaging or an opened item.
Very Good = Probably something slightly used and returned or something with some slight damage but nothing most anyone would worry about
Good = Probably something used but often "good" is still in very good condition
Acceptable = Just that. It works but dont expect anything too great. Maybe a game thats disc only or has damage to it but still functions

Those are just my own descriptions from what I've bought but I think it's fairly accurate.

It is just their used deals "warehouse". No real downside compared to normally buying used games. I've bought quite a bit from them without consequence.

Hopefully it is brand new for me as well. Surprised this was still available for purchase. 1-clicked it without thinking twice via the Amazon app :D. Might just piece it out on eBay and keep the game.

Got my three games today:

"Good" Zelda LTTP snes ($37.XX) - Arrived in immaculate condition in box with manual, map and secrets mini-guide (except for the sticker on the back of the box)

"Good" Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance for GBA ($16.xx) arrived complete and in great shape

"Like New" Mega Man Battle Network 1 GBA ($8.xx) arrived cart only shrink wrapped to a piece of cardboard.

Guess which one will be going back :)

Always wondered, will clicking on the video game tab list the items in the order they were listed (newest to oldest) or do you have to scan through the just arrived tab ?

Lol I seen that, I am feeling quite sleepy myself but I must stay up!

I posted this in another thread but I will post it here as well for folks who maybe interested in this (Vita backup and memory storage). Credit for the link goes to another CAG in the the Amazon BF deal thread.

Space being an issue (on smaller capacity memory cards), games can be moved to PC or Mac from Vita and vice versa. Keep what you need on the memory card and backup what you don't to a PC or Mac. The link below is a guide on how to accomplish that.

Copying and deleting games and other applications using a computer

Tad tedious, but it gets the job done.
