F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot
For only $550,000, you can increase your backlog from 30-40 games to about 7,000 games:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/121062811693 (MY GOODNESS...seriously, scroll down and check out some of the pictures & check out the imageshack images)

I feel like I have a pretty awesome collection, and a backlog WELL over 30-40 games, but this guy seriously puts all collections on this site to shame.
That's a nice collection but what the hell that price is absurd. I don't know why people bother posting such listings. Either break your collection down to something reasonable or don't bother listing it.

He has a lot of extremely rare items and one offs. Not to mention all those S/NES boxed copies. Those Mother boxes alone are worth a lot.

So I recently grabbed an "Acceptable" PS3 Blazblue CSE LE from AWD for... a little over $16. Outer box was beat up a bit, but all the goodies were in pristine condition. Game itself was still sealed; unsure if this was a return due to outer box damage or if Amazon simply re-wrapped the game. Hell, I'm not sure if I'll even play the game, to be honest.

That said, I'd probably take my chances on buying from AWD again. Who knows; I might get lucky again.

Well from what I read in forums most people returned BlazBlue CSE LE, due to Amazon shipping them in bubble wrap bags where it can get squashed so people were pissed and returned them. So pretty much Amazon screwed up when sending them.
What's the likely hood of the PSN Plus code already activated?
is it bad if someone used the code?
or you just cant play free games for the 1 year?
Trying to buy a ps3, but dont know about psn plus

Yea, definitely bad if the code is used. The card would be worthless then.

Yeah, I was figuring they were getting returned due to outer box damage, but I didn't want to assume right off the bat, since I believe I read that the game may or may not have been repackaged.

Eh. In the end, I got a sealed anime fighting game for slightly less than retail, along with a soundtrack CD and a bunch of stuff printed on dead trees. Nothing too bad.
I just sold around $300 worth of games and books to amazon so I could grab a 3DS XL from the warehouse. But thanks for looking out, cowboom has some great deals.
Since Amazon does not sell the 3DS or 3DS XL directly, it is less likely to show up in the Warehouse as it is a console they do sell (i.e. Vita, PS3. Xbox, etc.). Most of the 3DS/XL sold on Amazon are "fulfilled by Amazon", but sold by a 3rd party. I'm not sure if those returns end up in the warehouse.

I never noticed that..
What happened to amazon? It's all weird, not letting me see the different prices for new and used on the games page.
Edit: Nvm, it's so tiny!
Yeah, I was looking at games and the layout changed. So confused!

i dont understand. If someone used the psn plus code, the ps3 is not useable? or you just cant have psn plus?

The PS3 is useable, the PSN + won't be useable and the PSN + gives you a lot of free games and that alone is worth it.
They were just listed as "Good". Came complete and in near mint condition... but the damn thing just wouldn't work!
Same thing happened to my "Like New" copy of Far Cry 3. Pissed me off.

Its Only 1 month, which the 1 month card can be had for 5 dollars. Definitely not a deciding factor seeing you will be saving 100 dollars usually.

Um, that PS3 comes with a year PS+ card. $50 usually, although right now can be had for $40.
^ got Darkness 2. Thanks.
Did you miss the sale over the weekend? Darkness 2 was $10 at BB and Amazon new.

yeah, I did. As long as its like new as stated, I dont mind.

Just bought Metroid Prime Trilogy Collector's Edition (Like New) for $88. Sound like a good deal?

Still questioning if it was worth the price not knowing if all of the collectible items will be included.

Wow, that's PRICEY. Lucky i bought my copy last year at SEARS clearance for $20-ish. Still sealed ;) I don't think Nintendo will do Wii U HD release on the triology.

That's the cheapest I have ever seen it new or used in a while. Very difficult to find since Nintendo isn't reprinting it.

I haven't played any of the games in the Prime series, but I'm questing if its worth the price.

Prime 1 and 3 were both very good games 2 not so much IMO. Honestly only reason I would get it is if A) you are a steelbook collector B) you prefer wii controls over using a GC controller.

I own it found it on clearance at a wally world for 20$. I haven't even opened it but I am a steel book collector.

Not a great deal but then again you may not have the luck that I did finding a like new used copy at a Game Xchange around the corner from our house for $55. Even better are the prices of the posters before me (nice!) but I imagine that's incredibly rare to come across in 2013.

Oh, worth the price? Like will you easily get $88 of fun out of those games? I'd say hell yes but then again you may end up hating the controls. That said, if you dig Metroid and the Wii controls it is totally worth it at that price considering how rare it is.

And if you hate it you could sell it and at the very least break even. :)

Loved the Metroid Prime Trilogy. But I personally enjoyed 2 the most; I really liked the whole Light and Dark aspect and I loved reading the lore of they had.
