What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Finally got around to opening my recent AWD packages. Received 5 games LN, 3 not wrapped and no stickers, 2 had stickers. One of them was Alan Wake CE which has 2, now just need to figure out how to get them off.

This may be a dumb question... but is there any way to see the specific condition/description of something after you've gone through and purchased it? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

click on the order# and the condition should be stated there

When you select the order tab, on your left side of the items will be two links. One for Order details and one for invoice. Click on either one and look for "condition" right below "Items Ordered". You will see the description as in LN, VG, G, and A but nothing more detailed than that.
 
Received my (G) SMT DS Soul Hackers today and the overall box was completely beat up, which I expected. Then I opened it and both the music cd and the game box were sealed. I don't know if amazon just completely resealed all of it or if I just got really lucky.

Prices are still on the high end. Poker stepped back as lot more people, myself included, post consistently in this thread so he just oversees it. This thread pretty much now runs itself with the help of few dedicated posters but Poker did his fair share from start until the penny deals fiasco and then some thereafter.

It happened for real when the vitas started popping up and all hell broke loose. Someone actually created a thread with AWD as title for just games and other consoles but in the end the original thread (this one) won out for having unified thread over a thread for every criteria. Poker had to stand firm for keeping and running a unified thread. It was kind of like what went down with the low priced games as of recent except majority of people posting about vitas and its condition and in the meantime drowning any other deals with in the thread. Hence, the mutiny.

The penny deals were total glitch in the system that has only happened once more since the first major one for a brief period. It has yet to happen again and I was hoping it would when the algorithm hit the low end price cycle but alas that wasn't meant to be.
 
Those penny deals were a thing of beauty. It made for an easy xmas shopping experience. Plus I was able to get myself a new TV with the sale of the other truckload of games I snagged.
 
It surprised me that Amazon actually fulfilled the orders as crazy as they were. That was indeed a thing of beauty and a deal of a life time.

man, amazon warehouse is getting shady as hell now. I leave them the negative 1 out of 5 feedback, and they removed it/ cross it out with red giant x. This is my first time doing so, because over the last 2 months, i have ordered a total of four times. Every time, there is something wrong with atleast 1 item ( one game) in the shipment. Just recently last week, i received a shipment of 3 games. ALl three games was ordered under the like-new condition. When i opened it, all 3 disc had fingerprints all over, along with dust. As well as white crust looking , with sticky glue like substance. I think i am done ordering from amazon warehouse. THe headache is not worth it.

No offense dude but like new condition doesn't mean factory sealed never touched...having fingerprints on a disc is not a big deal whatsoever

I don't know if my negative feedback stuck because it updates every few seconds. I figure that they would take it for that Purple 3DS they gave me and those Pokemon Games.


How fast was the feedback removed?

if i wanted fingerprint smudges all over my game, i would of went to gamestop.. The only reason i bough games from amazon warehouse, is because it is few dollars below msrp new. I am just going to stick to buying new items from amazon only. these experiences within the last two months, really sour my experience with amazon warehouse.
 
Relax. If you can wipe them off the disc without any damage, then it's fine. It's Like New because someone handled it. That usually means with fingers.

You gave them a 1 out of 5 for having dust and fingerprints on the discs? Or is that just in addition to why you gave them a 1?
 
Wow. I don't agree with leaving a 1/5 for fingerprints and dust. A 1/5 in my opinion would be scratches on the disc, missing case/manual, wrong game and etc.

And as to that "if I want fingerprints, I'll go to gamestop" comment, you're more likely to get fingerprints AND scratches. Seriously, you can deal with minor fingerprints. At least you can get rid of them with little to no hassle. Scratches will always be there.

just going to chime in here and say it annoys me to no end when buyers leave a neg because a game had a fingerprint or 2 on the disc...i mean seriously? 1/5? I sell on amazon and can't stand it when i get unreasonable buyers like that. You got your game, im sure it was still functional, im sure it got to you pretty fast (esp if you had prime) and it doesn't sound like it was packed poorly or anything like that...so why would you leave anyone a 1/5?

amazon is a hardass when it comes to keeping above a certain score...and a neg is something that goes against your record...Just please leave negs until there's no other option left.

I wouldn't mind fingerprints and dust compared to what I got from Amazon Warehouse today: http://oi41.tinypic.com/2d9h74.jpg

I've ordered a lot of games and consoles from the warehouse and never really had a problem before. So I figured I'd take a chance on one of those $285 46 inch Haier HDTVs since it seemed like a pretty good deal and had decent reviews for what it is. It was listed in like new condition with only minor damage to the packaging and cosmetic wear and tear to the TV stand. Nothing at all about the screen being damaged, or in this case just totally fucked. :p

That white material is usually from the resurfacing they do. It's usually not very difficult to remove although I could say the same about dust and fingerprints.

Could have happened in shipping, though it still sucks for you. Hope they don't give you any hassle returning it.
