F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot
Has anyone received the original box + manual when getting a game that isn't in Like New condition? I saw Soul Hackers earlier in Very Good condition but I didn't bite since the description made it sound like it might not come in the original packaging.

Unrelated:
:360: Devil May Cry Collection (LN) $11.60
I've gotten several with everything, even club Nintendo codes unused while they have been marked acceptable, but of course, ymmv.

Usually the only condition that doesn't come complete is Acceptable, but there is a chance with any of them. If the description looks good you'll probably get it.

Ah crap, that's what I was afraid of. Guess I'll just take a chance on the next cheap-ish copy I see. Thanks for the quick replies.

I keep going back and forth on buying this, is there any difference at all between the two systems? I should get it on the 360 since I have 4 there, but still feel like it should be a Playstation series.

Well this might be just my preference, but I played this on 360 and found the controller a bit... weird(?) for my taste compared to the Dualshock... it might just be though
What happened?
lol I think I bought it for like 27 and now I have seen it go for about 5 dollars less the game and case itself were fine

I am hoping to snag a LM2 for somethng closer to $25 but there are so many sharks in the water :D
Is scribblenauts worth 20+ on Wii U, or is it better getting the Kindle version?
umm I heard they are coming out with a new one I believe for 3DS that has every DC universe character ever if that's of any interest to you
I'm not really familiar with the Xbox 360 controllers so this may be dumb advice but did you sync the controller with your xbox?

There is a tiny button on the console and the controller that you can press to sync them.
It's not a sync issue. It doesn't even turn on long enough to start the sync process. It just flashes twice and turns off as if it's out of batteries.
Is scribblenauts worth 20+ on Wii U, or is it better getting the Kindle version?
The Kindle one isn't the same game. But I'd say get Unlimited on PC because of the Steam Workshop. Add tons of user-created content.
Lol touche sir, touche.

Damn you watch alot of movies. I see your posts and every day its a new film.
What can I say? I like me some movies. ;)
Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition for PS3 - is everything on disc, or DLC codeS? Anyone?
If it's like the :360: version, it's all on-disc.
Finally grabbed a copy of Soul Hackers.

Is it reasonable to hope that it comes with the CD and outer box too with Like New?
I would say your chance of getting the Bonus CD that comes with Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is pretty reasonable. I ordered a Like New copy fairly recently and although the outer box got dented a bit because it was shipped in a bubble mailer, it did include the CD. I was delighted overall.

I got one of the Hori RAP fightsticks for $93 from amazon warehouse and it didn't work at all. No lights came on or anything. I returned it about a week ago, and I think I'll just keep the decent enough one I have now(not like I'm a pro at the game anyway). Now I'm afraid to get something else from amazon warehouse.

It's on the Disc.

Okay, so this thread had showed me the way of the Goo-gone to get these pesky stickers off game cases.

But after receiving my Neptunia CE today I've come across a problem. How do I get these stickers off cardboard cases without damaging it?

yeah i wrecked my ouya box (yeah, idky) when i took the stickers off. my grrl was like wtf did you do to the box. i told her i just took stickers off and they messed it up.

Might sound weird but try a hair dryer...the heat loosens the glue.

I have always used goo-gone on everything from AWD or ExpressMedia which includes probably over 100 boxed gameboy, snes, n64, and CE/LE games. Works fine as long as you are careful and the box is not really worn. If the box is really worn down the goo-gone will rub some of the color off. But I can use it on 95% of the boxes without doing any damage at all.

I assume just use a dampened cloth or towel to wipe at it and not douse it with liquid

Use the sticker itself. Usually in taking off the sticker part of it will still be sticky, the rest will be on the box. Dab the sticky box part with the AWD sticker. Takes awhile but comes off clean. Just did that with my DR2: CE box.

^ This. It worked wonders for my Etrian Odyssey IV box.

It depends on how much sticker residue is left after peeling it off and the condition of the box. If there is not much left I usually do not apply directly, instead applying to paper towel and wiping.

If there is a lot of residue left and the box is in good shape I don't mind applying a light amount of goo gone-directly. Either way I only apply light pressure when wiping.

Something as new as Neptunia CE I personally would not hesitate at all applying goo gone. The only times I have ever caused even minor damage, it has been with really old boxes, gameboy color/snes or older, with worn surfaces. There is some kind of protective coating on the boxes, so as long as it is still there I have no issues.

If the sticker is close to an edge sometimes the liquid will soak through to the inside which worried me at first, but it has always dried completely clear. Can't tell at all the the goo gone was used.
Ordered a PS3 Arkham City GOTY and got the 360 version. My first mess up with AWD. Boooooo.
That happened to me when I ordered FFXIII-2, ordered for the PS3 and got a 360 copy. Contacted CS via chat and they were very helpful. They asked me to place an order for a brand new copy, they then adjusted the price to match the AWD price. After that I just returned the 360 copy for a refund.

You can probably get a better deal on the Shoryuken.com Trading Outlet anyway for a stick like that.
