F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Nice. Not as good as your find, but at gamestop i found a used copy the dark spire for the ds complete. The cart had no sticker in the back. Looks brand new. Looks like someone just traded it in. Is $10 good? I had to use a $10 off coupon that expired yesterday.

Also, it be nice to find lunar knights complete.

Careful with this one. Description states black label, but I got the green Greatest Hits. 10 in stock, so good luck![/QUOTE]

Picked one up, the chance is worth it alone. On a side note, how does one know when AW adds new items? I see someone further up in the thread mentioned they added 600 items, but how do you know when they have been added? And how can one know if AW is giving you something brand new or something re-wrapped?

Usually you can know if it's brand new by the labels. If you see an Xbox game with the MS sticker still on in perfect shape with shrinkwrap it's new. Same for PS1 games.

That said, it's harder to tell with PS3. Also, someone close to me is selling a brand new FFVII black label but they want 200 dollars for it D:

Picked up Batman AA GOTY.

That, Arkham City, and GTA V will pretty much do it for me this gen. Might buy some cheap games here and there but I'll have played pretty much all I wanted to after that.

Ummm you guys might be a little out dated in your pricing for FFVII. While popular, it is very common and not really that valuable, even black label. You can find CIB Black Label's for about $20 without too much searching.

I'm a collector (mostly Factory Sealed NES games that are VGA graded), when I said I'm taking a risk, I said I'm taking a risk on it actually being from the factory and not being re-sealed. I have a factory sealed black label misprint that is a VGA 85+, don't need your trolling. Move on.

The chances of you getting a factory sealed PS1 game from AWD is virtually 0. Maybe like 1-2% if it is something still sold like Final Fantasy IX. Sometimes when trade in values are exceptionally high people will go buy new copies of a game to trade in, so you might get a modern factory sealed game.

The only older sealed game I have received, out of several hundred games ordered, is Kirby and the Amazing Mirror for Game Boy Advance. Honestly can't even say for sure it is factory sealed as not an expert but looks legit to me.

If the rare chance you did get a factory sealed PS1 game the case would almost certainly be cracked. They are not stored or shipped properly by Amazon. I replace nearly all the cases of used PS1 games I get from AWD with brand new cases.

Speaking of collectors, I just ordered :ps2: Rule of Rose in (LN) for $76.79. It is cringe worthy price in my opinion but that game is so damn hard to find complete in mint condition. It will be worth it if it is in mint condition. I have been looking all over for this game and yet to come across one in good price or in mint condition. Lets see if AWD can pull through.

Just received my LCD TV to find out that the stand that holds it in place is broken. So much for Like New. I ordered another one and they gave me free one day shipping. I'm holding the TV with books til I have to send it back. So far, I'm liking the new TV.

wee-ow! I knew that game was hard to come by, but a quickie ebay scan shows disc only copies sometimes going for $60. Maybe you did just fine on that one.

Cracked or not it is still worth value if it is factory sealed is the point and finding this game CIB for "$20" is also 1-2% of a chance. This is a good value in my opinion.

Here's hoping; I will find out soon enough. Normally I would wait and see if the price drops any further but I wasn't gonna chance it with this one knowing how rare it is to come by and how rarely it pops up on AWD. If it comes complete, then it will be worth it. Can't wait!

Hope for the best with that - it is a tough price to swallow. :)

Yeah, a good bit of old school / rare games are up for grabs like Earthbound, Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, Skies of Arcadia: Legends, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, etc, but prices for them are terrible at the moment unlike the one you posted about.

Damn! I wouldn't have thought to check there for something like that! Could've gone good with my Haunting Ground($15.99 complete and LN from GameStop some months back) and Clocktower 3!

I really didn't expect to see it here but I am glad I did (for now until I really have it as described). BTW, I like your taste in games. Those were hell of pickups and great games.

Seems like ATLUS games always end up being valuable a good amount of the time. Good luck on that Rule of Rose game DealSeeker.

Im still waiting for a damn ~$60 32GB vita card. One day...

"Seems like ATLUS games always end up being valuable a good amount of the time."

True, As long as I don't buy a copy, you've got a good chance of it being worth something. Everything I touch turns to mud. . .

Had I known about this site 4 years ago, I would of sold you one sealed for cheap. I found one on clearance at a Aafes store in Guam for $5. That was the only reason I bought it but never got across to play it. I opened it and sold it on craigslist for like $30 2 years ago. I didnt know how rare it was and never looked it up >_>

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay you for it, and let's be honest....it's just a video game.

Some of those "Just a video game" go for big bucks.

Got my second Arkham City GOTY for PS3... And this one was the right version! Came with unused Batman Year One code too. Despite saying it was expired, I was still able to redeem. Woo!

No I know, just saying its only worth what they will actually give you though. And you still have to shell out money to buy it to then resell. I just don't see it as a very profitable business model, and for me I just like playing games.

Isnt that mostly about everything else out there? A supra? A limited edition item? etc. There are people that are willing to pay. Look at retro jordan shoes. The world is getting worst everyday.
