F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I'd buy from BB since if you are truly CAG then you have Gamer's Unlocked so it would be $8.991 and a difference of almost $4 and $8 respectively :D

Also you get Reward points.
Very true!

How are they for buying pre owned online? Mainly 360 games since its cheaper (scratched, etc)

With BB though you may or may not get a complete copy if you buy used from their website.  Also, you might have some issues finding a complete copy or even a copy in general from a store.  I would just pay the few dollars more and order from Amazon instead of dealing with the potential headaches from Best Buy.

I've had pretty excellent luck getting complete used games from bby, but they make it pretty difficult to return used games (especially for completeness reasons). I tried to swap a used game that a store had in stock because it was missing a manual and I couldn't because it was opened (which is the only way you can tell if it's missing a manual).

I was able to grab a 16gb memory card from AWD, like new, for $35.25 at 2am this morning. I chose the two day shipping and they said that it would not be here til Monday? :/
They're getting weird about Saturday deliveries and whether it's them or the carrier are trying to charge for it sometimes. If it ships today and it's not a FedEx delivery scheduled for Monday you'll probably get it sooner. If it is FedEx you'll see it Monday.

Go go clear PS3 cases. ;)

Weird. Ordered one of the $23 Used - Like New PS3 Tomb Raiders over the weekend... just found the package at home. Picked up the padded envelope and realized that it was way heavier than a PS3 game should be. Opened it up and found the Target-exclusive steelbook version. Corners of the slipcover are a little worn and there's a small dent that I was able to pop out of the back of the steelbook itself, but it's otherwise pretty okay. Didn't have time to check the DLC situation.

Regardless, certainly wasn't expecting that. Not complaining, though.

That's because AWD had some serious pricing errors on Friday. There were a bunch of Blu-rays and DVDs that were 80% off. A few Criterion DVDs were going for less then $1.
Well boy that would have been nice to catch. I like the logic though, "damn we messed up and lost a bunch of money and now we're short on product; I know, let's fix it by buying some stuff for $999!"

pretty sure it was probably like oh damn, lets just jack prices until we fix the algo or whatever.  also people that talk about deals from yesterday without mentioning them yesterday is well..... BOOOOOOO!

double also AWD has been sucking lately.

AWD defacto response to a bad algorithm. Also, I was under the impression that we do not post blu-ray and DVD deals in this thread, to prevent clutter.

Of course THAT I miss...

Sorry about that, though I wasn't really posting a deal, unless you consider $999 for Vol 4 of Super Sumos to be a deal.

Anyways, GAMES!

Very true. I didn't find out about them until Saturday when I was browsing through blu-ray.com at which point they were dead.
happened to me too :( Was busy on that day so I didn't check on blu0ray until it was too late.! :(

Injustice ...amazon cancel my order that I bought from $16 because it is backordered...
that sucks, I'm still refreshig the injustice page looking to see if I can catch one for $16 lol
