What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Restock happening? Animal Crossing: New Leaf (G) just showed up at $22.52.

Edit: There's a $26 LN copy too.

Keeping a eye out for animal crossing new leaf. My local gamestop is sold out, Amazon only has third party sellers.

I should of grabbed this earlier. :(



Walmart has them on sale for $23 plus tax online.

I'm seeing $30.

I'll probably just end up trading in some finished games for GS credit and grab the digital download on their website.

EDIT: Tax was only about 2 bucks and I could use site to store and pick it up today so I went ahead and did that. I think that's the first time I've ever bought a game from Walmart online, lol.

It's addicting (the whole of CAG) and that can mess with you. Get some sleep as this site will still be there when you wake up. Deals will come and go so no worries.

I have had the CE of the game since launch, but haven't opened it yet. I am glad I didn't though, as the CE is already gaining value. I can't tell you how much temptation I had to fight not to break it open to play it because of CAGs raving about it.

NASCAR games tend to hold their value because there's only the one of them in the category (see NBA 2K games) and they get modest print runs, but I'm gonna wait until this one hits $20, as I think it will.

for 1 I combined 2 boxes together into 1 long box and the for the other 2 I got a box from my landlords shipment that had baby strollers in it which was long enough to fit 2 with no issue.

 
Yea many of the recent TIV's have been bad.  Ridiculous for them to sell something already used and offer 1/2 that or worse as a TIV.  That's some gamestop type crap and I for one won't have it. I can understand wanting to make a few bucks off the process but them to rake in $15-20 for doing pretty much nothing is not happening with me.

I can also finally confirm amazon does rank their customers and level of CS based on how much you spend though.  I finally had a problem with an order where they sent the wrong product via AWD and they said policy was they could only do a refund for the AWD product multiple times.  She then said hold on, I see you're a very very good customer so I can do an exception.  Sent me a brand new item for the AWD price after that.

I luckily found most everything I wanted in short order. I'll check the thread every now and then to see if anything pops up but I'm over the weeks of having 10 tabs open and refreshing them when a restock hits. I could probably stop buying games right now and have enough to last me for the rest of my life.

Same here, now I am prowling for epic deals on older gen stuff mostly since I am content with what I have this gen until some releases down the road. I can say for a fact my games will outlast me as most are rpgs spanning past gens all the way into this gen. Lol!

Well they released the sequel aka version 2 to the first one so it must have done something. I guess it was "long shot" that paid off its gamble in terms of a "sleeper hit". Puns intended!

What I would imagine is that the game had a lower production cost, and the fact that it is a fairly unique game, allowed for them to get buy selling less units at a lower cost but still be profitable. I played it, it was enjoyable, I also waited and got it on sale for cheap.

 
True dat! It was a budget title that seemingly didn't have too much overhead to deal with (big budget advertising and such), allowing more revenue stream to warrant some success..

really? we must not be playing the same game. I thought the game was just another generic third person shooter, with the silly slow motion x-ray bullet hitting hit sequence. It was really bland.

The 1st one is so much better by far but 2 seems like a dumbed down smaller areas expansion. Bought day one atleast gameplay was good but i miss longer sniping. oh well

Haha well lets see. The past two all nighters I did. I got a 32GB VITA card for $59. Super Mario 3D Land for $20 LN. And the second time I stayed up late I got Injustice for PS3 for $14. And all were purchased around 4-6 AM my time. Soooo third times a charm? :booty:

Good point though they seem to be posting them later in the morning the last few days there's been decent stuff. Entirely random fact to entertain you that I just noticed for some reason and can't explain: for some reason I have 1200 more profile views than posts.

Hey we can't all come up with good usernames all the time and it's not like all the good stuff isn't already taken everywhere. I'm just glad they finally put in the screen name change, whenever they did, because those are long outdated names but I wasn't about to give this account up just to change my name.

 
So I was able to order a Hyperdimension Neptunia (Premium Edition) "Like New" for $48.84, which I was super pleased with. UPS tracking is showing the package only weighs 0.40 pounds though (the product page has it weighed in at 1 pound), so I have a bad feeling I'm going to be receiving just the game and no extras.

Seeing as how I can order just the game itself brand new for $10 less than that, I'm going to likely have to return this when it gets here. Are Warehouse Deals returns as painless as standard Amazon ones?

If the item is not exactly as described. Just contact AWD and they should send you a RMA label pretty fast. Mine was painless
