F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

The (A) Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Special Edition came in today.  Looks new except for sticker residue on an abnormally large part of the slip cover.  I think it was returned/traded because it had too many stickers on it (which were pulled off) or because one part of the disk feels a little rough.  Think like how the gamefly games are chippy, but not as deep but over a larger area of the edge of the disk.  Seems to work fine, so I am very happy with it.

Anyone have any tips on getting sticker residue off of a cardboard slip cover?  The GRADED BY AWD sticker was a HUGE bitch and left more sticky stuff than I have ever seen.

Good lord what's so special about Mass Effect Limited Edition that it's still $67?
Only the first one in the series exists on 360 as a LE and was truly a limited run. It has been a while since it has been out of print so it still holds value well amongst collectors.

Are you talking about the Mass Effect 1 LE (The :360: one) or the CE for the 3rd one that was released on both consoles? The first one is rarer (not rare yet). The third one, not so much.

For cardboard? I use it all the time for normal cases, but I figured it would soak into the slip cover. I can give it a shot though.
i had the same issue with the awd graded sticker on the spine, the goo gone did work very well, i didnt use very much and wiped it off as quickly as possible because of the same reason.

Use a q-tip with goo gone and spread it on evenly on the surface of the sticker. Let it sit for a bit and then peel away gently. It should come right off. Wipe away any residue with lint free cloth and you are good to go.

Some stickers are really hard to take off though.

You have never had trouble taking off some of them?

Any tips? Lol, I have had some clean ones, but it seems that some of them have trouble taking off because they have been sitting their for a loooong time.

If it is on the cardboard, I will try to peel off the layers of the sticker (If more than one) and then repeat the same process as before (q-tip dipped in goo gone spread evenly across the designated surface, set to soak for a minute or two, then wiped down with lint free cloth) so that I don't rip the cardboard part. Afterwards, I will wipe it down well. I will let it air dry since the oily residue from goo gone can linger.

If it is on the case and has been on for a while, I will take everything out (the inserts, cover art, and the game) and then either genlty remove and or rip the sticker(s) (newer releases have the stickers that peel right off and or reusing the same sticker on the case, you can remove the sticky residue). If it doesn't come off and leaves a sticky mess or partial sticker then I will revert to the goo gone method but this time I will spray it on the designated area and let it sit for a bit and then wipe it down shortly thereafter. Afterwards, I will let the case air dry for a bit.

the mass effect 3 n7 one I thought that what you was talking about?
Nah, on that end it seems the ps3 ones is getting to be the valuable one but the truly valuable one is the Mass Effect LE for 360 in the series.

This one:

Vita Memory Cards don't show up too often lately, do they? I wouldn't put it past AWD listing all of them while I'm away, though. So far I've managed to get a 4GB one for a little under ten bucks, but I'm obviously going to need more than that in the long run.

...not really a fan of the proprietary (i.e. overpriced) memory card thing. I'm two years late on this, I know.
