Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition (condition listed can be acceptable, good, very good, like new, or new). Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

WIKI: It seems people had a few suggestions from the last thread in terms of updating the OP. I've changed a few things, but if there is anything else you want to change, feel free to do so.

F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What states does Amazon charge sales tax?
Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax:

Arizona
California
Connecticut

Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Note: No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

I bit and ordered a LN UC3 CE. I missed the BB clearance and the one Walmart around me that has it in stock still rings up $99.
I have been watching those CE for a while on the AWD. I think they have been up for a good month or so. Good luck on your LN. I was debating on jumping on one of them, but i think i can wait a little bit more since they have been dropping the last few days.

We'll see how it goes, if the G's drop down more I may go for one of those instead.

I recently played the HD Collection for Zone of Enders. I didn't experience any framerate issues whatsoever when I played. That's only my personal experience with the game so take that as you will.

A little off topic but what are people thoughts in regards to buying a gaming PC from Amazon?  I am looking to upgrade by the end of the year but i was curious if anyone has bought any of the gaming computers they sell?  I also have the option to just by the parts from Amazon and just upgrade.

Just wondering what others have done and i am looking to upgrade with out spending much once i get a little bit more credit.

I think most people build their computers nowadays if they're looking for mid-to-high-end desktops. If you're looking to just upgrade and not replace, your ability to do that depends on the system you currently have and what it supports, both connection/socket-wise and wattage wise.

EDIT: i use pcpartpicker.com when building computers, jsyk

When I built my pc I bought a few parts off amazon, including my gpu. I would't advise buying anything prebuilt, and if you have a microcenter around its usually a great spot to look

Less than $15 is good for me.

Does the framerate make it almost unplayable or is that just a prissy thing?
The 360 version is comparable to the PS2 with some improvements in frame rate, the PS3 version was pretty bad until Kojima fixed it and now it runs silky smooth at 1080p I believe.

Basically the PS3 version is now the best version of the game out there.

I'm tempted on one of those Uncharted CEs... I've had my eye on it for awhile.

Does anyone own this and have an opinion on it?  Worth $27 or $34?  What can I expect for the differences between the A and the LN?

the acceptable could literally just be the game disc in a case, that is all you would need to get the acceptable grade.

Really? That's all you need to get the A grade for a CE???
it depends on the grader, but if you go to trade something in, this is what the acceptable conditions are

Typical elements included with a video game: disc/cartridge, manual, case, artwork, bundled accessories, and UPC (or EAN).
Please check your item to ensure it meets this criteria:
  • Game still plays perfectly
  • Item may have been personalized (marked or identified)
  • Item may be missing or have irreparable damage to one or all of the following: case, manual, artwork, bundled accessories, UPC
Important Note: Games having one or more of the conditions listed below will not be accepted.
Video Game - Not Acceptable Eligibility Criteria
  • Game does not play perfectly
  • Disc is cracked
  • Marked Not for Resale (or is otherwise marked not for sale)
the key is missing case, artwork, manual, accessories. so really all you need is a working disc according to amazon standards.

Which is why people in the AMZ trade thread trade in disc only copies of the $300 rockband bundles (supposed to include guitars etc) to get an acceptable grade. Which is why I never buy an acceptable item if I want anything more than just te game itself.

Thanks for the help, guys.  I just placed an order for a LN Uncharted 3 CE.

This is only my second video game CE purchase ever, but I've bought them both LN from AWD because of this thread, so thanks to everyone who posts in it!

As a rule of thumb, I only post deals on CEs and LEs for acceptable ones when their are other condition variants such as good, very good, and like new ones in the mix. I don't post acceptable values of those by themselves if the game is more than few months older because of what ritchardf and Jimmienoman said concering the acceptable condition of the game. On older titles, acceptable version could be anything from just the game to damaged content and a mint game in a generic box so not worth the gamble on older releases. On newer releases the acceptable condition items could be dingers so depending on the price sometimes worth gambling.

Wow, that went fast. Didn't know RetroN's were sought after like that.
When you have and can play a lot of different games from different generations I can understand the appeal. Also, I'm quite sure that there's even more to it besides just being able to play those old games.

I feel like I could find good condition complete systems to play all those types of games for less.
I feel there is a certain charm in playing on the origianl device so I would play it on the original device the way it was meant to be played but for others thay may not have those devices or majority of them, and don't want to hunt them down, it is something. However is it something good or bad, that remains to be determined over time per Vigilante's observation of the ratings. So far it seems to be leaning on the "not so good" side.

Well, most of the appeal for the system is the HDMI out capability and the Japanese cart support. I still have a CRT TV hooked up in the back specifically for older systems, but I can see where it'd be nice to play on the primary TV. That being said, if the system has a hard time giving up cartridges, that's a complete and utter dealbreaker.

Though I did laugh at the guy threatening to sue "if the Retron 5 ruins my rare games." If you've got very rare/highly valuable carts, why in the hell are you putting them into a third party emulator box in the first place?

Go to your account on the website, and go to "Manage Your Content and Devices" under the Digital Content section. Then go to Your Devices and select your Kindle. It should say Special Offers: Not Subscribed. Click "Edit" and subscribe to them. Shouldn't cost anything.
Thanks for the tip, just got my Kindle in today and bam I got that baby ready for the next big deal! This time I hope im not left out!
