Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition (condition listed can be acceptable, good, very good, like new, or new). Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

WIKI: It seems people had a few suggestions from the last thread in terms of updating the OP. I've changed a few things, but if there is anything else you want to change, feel free to do so.

F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What states does Amazon charge sales tax?
Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax:

Arizona
California
Connecticut

Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Note: No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Cowboom is selling some PS4s for $300 and free shipping...but I'm really trying to hold out on getting a sub-$300 on AW. Is it worth it to hold off?
Depends on how bad you want it. Gamestop has a promo running right now that you can trade a ps4 for a new ps4 for free. Buying used won't get you a warranty.

How do I check the condition of an item after bought? I have a slim vita, if it's a dinger I'll keep it if not I'll be releasing it.

From what I've gathered...if it's a generic description it's usually a dinger. If it has something different from that it's probably something more than a dinger.

How does the trading a PS4 for a new one work? I missed that post.

This is the video that basically sold me all by itself. I had no interest in the game until I saw this randomly about two hours before the game launched. At 4:50 in particular my willpower failed.

That boss fight just looks like everything I wish WoW still was and remember from my hardcore raiding days where to win you had to do everything right and more than just blast the daylights out of everything.
I tried out Wildstar at PAX two years ago, and was super excited about it, until they tried to sell it for $132-$180 per year. It's incredibly hard to justify a one-time $60 amount, let alone $180 per year (or more if you buy CREDD). the CREDD system is an interesting idea, but I have no idea well fed the system is, and certainly wouldn't risk wasting $60 to find out.

No a dinger description is damaged packaging. I already ordered it just wanted to know afterwards how to check it since I 1 clicked.

There is a 50% bonus on the purchase of a ps4 or x1. Ps4 has a base 265, then with the 50% puts it at 397.50 and then the headset nets you 2.50.

Thanks! So if I can buy the $300 from Cowboom I'm basically getting a brand new PS4 $100 cheaper (not including tax). I'm going to keep holding out as long as I can for AW to be in my favor but if not I'll jump on that. Thanks for the clarification!

Yeah, that's the only thing that worries me about it. If I end up playing it like I used to play WoW then it's not a big deal but otherwise that's a bit rough. MMOs are bad impulse purchases.

I know everyone wants to see my space furry shame.

I'm pretty sure I have asked this but I don't remember the answer.

If I were to purchase Amazon giftcards from say Gamestop and load them onto my account, Could I use that preloaded credit towards AWDs?

I'd prefer an answer where someone has personally done a transaction rather than speculation.

Yes you can. Gift card credit can be used on nearly anything but the promotional credit they give you if usually only for things sold by Amazon.com.

Yes. Gift cards are a separate payment method that, unlike Amazon's promo credit, can be used on anything sold on Amazon.com.

I grabbed a pair of Skullcandy PLYR1's (LN) for $115.xx before I left work earlier. Good or bad move? Never bought a used headset before...

Oh god I just came back to check the video because I couldn't watch it on mobile. I have to try really hard not to pick this up next time I'm at Best Buy....

....ahhh fuck who am I kidding? I'll get it Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks DealSeeker for posting that ACIV XB last night.

I'd been waiting for a sub-$25 price on it to add it to my collection!

I've never played 1 minute of an MMO in my life, but that video makes it look very very very fun.

Well I got a 4GB 360 slim with two wired controllers, a kinect, and a couple games for $80 on craigslist. After selling the kinect and controller, plus the games I should come close to even. Not the best deal but I'm happy with it for what I'll use it for.

EDIT: Since i bought that I'll probably release my Vita Slim into the wild shortly.

That's one of the reasons I'm glad they made the Vita region free. Now the only thing that you have to worry about is the price in the other region and the import fee's. That is if anyone plans on getting one. (It'll most likely never see it's way out here)

EDIT: Might be mistaken?

EDIT 2: The system is region-free but the games are digital via voucher which will need an EU account. :wall:

None of those games will work with your NA account even if you do import it and you can't easily switch accounts on the Vita or have more than one on it. It's great for physical releases but Vita's become such a digital focused machine.

Highly doubt we will get it since EU and JP have gotten multiple similar bundles of games that we haven't.

I thought that you could play games on systems like Vita, PS4, PS3 etc. Like you could in the past? Hypothetically, purchase and import that game from Japan that you want and play it on your PS3 without major problems? Unless I'm mistaken I thought you only need the other regions account for DLC? I already knew that the Vita was only exclusive to '1' account (Might be switchable but a hassle) I've at least seen people in that JRPG Niche Thread ordering Sword Art Online from Playasia for the Chinese/Taiwanese version and for all I know they haven't had issues in the past.

Yeah, physical games are no problem. It shows a PSN voucher on the package for that bundle which won't redeem on an NA PSN account so if someone imported that they wouldn't be able to use those games with their NA account. Everything else would be just like normal though.

So region free is good but that makes bundles like this not worth importing even if the price was fair.

Ah, I overlooked the voucher thanks for clarifying that. Not my fault that the focal point is "PS Vita Action Mega-Pack"

I really only meant that anyone could still pick up the system since it's region-free by itself. I do see your point on the games though, that is if people didn't want to take the chance and have an EU PS Vita. Which would most likely not be the greatest idea since the localization of their handheld games. (Seems like $272.91 more or less when you convert from Euro's to USD) for this particular bundle.
