Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition (condition listed can be acceptable, good, very good, like new, or new). Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

WIKI: It seems people had a few suggestions from the last thread in terms of updating the OP. I've changed a few things, but if there is anything else you want to change, feel free to do so.

F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What states does Amazon charge sales tax?
Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax:

Arizona
California
Connecticut

Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Note: No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Has anyone tried out Dungeon Hunter Alliance on the PS Vita? I always see it at GameStop but it seems like one of those games that should be passed on.

EDIT: Saw a YouTube Video about it. Seems like I'll pass on it until it gets lower probably.

it's fun. I bought it day one back when I had my OG Vita. Def not worth the price though, maybe $10. I think it was like a $1-5 game on PS3, maybe even free at one point. It's the same game just ported over for vita and then they hiked the price up. Or could be other way around but im not sure.

Not worth more then $10 though, but will get some good fun out of it.

The curse has been broken! My Acceptable MK8 came today, and while it didn't look like a dinger since it was in a black game case, the disc worked in my Wii U!

Not only that, but the Club Nintendo card inside was still unused, so that's a free Wind Waker HD for me! :whee: :D/

I would actually get on that if I had the $200-$205 right now. Then again, I'm waiting for the games that Nintendo just announced to release and far more JRPG/RPG's. The newest Xenoblade is also a start and gives me another game to get. As much as Nintendo first-party games are highly regarded, I don't plan on getting a system just for them.

better hope other third parties don't follow ubisoft lead now otherwise 1st party games might be all there is soon. Which sucks since i love my wii u had it for months now. http://www.cheapassgamer.com/redirect.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.polygon.com%2F2014%2F6%2F9%2F5793660%2Fubisoft-unreleased-wii-u-games&pid=11835173

MK8 came in. No CN code, unfortunately

EDIT: anyone know where the best TIV is for MK8? I don't have GCU. BB gives $40, Walmart gives $40.80, thinking of taking advantage of Walmart's $48 for MK8 to get a 'new' copy with a working code

Unless I'm mistaken, doesn't the 'Install Base' only go up if people happen to purchase NEW over USED? Since that (Refurbished) Wii U is coming from the Nintendo Store I'd imagine it increases the Install Base (I could be wrong) but if purchasing some NEW is what only counts towards it and sales I don't exactly see it happening any time soon. All three systems are in the same boat for me though. Still waiting for the JRPG/RPG's even though the announcement of FF-Type 0 gave me another reason to get either an Xbox One or PS4 over the other at the moment. That still depends on said prior reasons and when it becomes affordable though. I'd imagine that a console sale from these companies stores count towards the 'Install Base'?

It looks pretty nice. I didn't take a good look at the statue, but it looked well-made enough. The steelbook is cool and easily the best part of the CE for me (no opinion on the soundtrack CD yet, but I expect it to be ho-hum), and the hardcover artbook is thicker than I was expecting. I might use the vigilante (ha) mask, but I'm not sure yet.

I'll likely trade in the game to GS while they have the guaranteed $40 through 6/26, which would price the LE extras at ~$44, a good value IMO--this LE is in no way worth the full $129.99.
thanks, I guess I'll start looking for some dingers in the $80 range. $40 for a LE sounds about right if I can trade off the game for $40ish

What's the best price that I can expect for a Wii U... that E3 show was Amazing!
Indeed, only one that had anything that excited me at all. That Bayonetta comes with the sequel is awesome, Zelda is really intriguing, I like that yarn spinoffs of their platformers is a thing, overall very strong showing. Smash of all games is the one that each time they show more I get a bit more meh over.

Almost want this, but am going to restrain myself. I could get that for $21 using a $20 Amazon gift card I have no other use for, but then I don't get the free game. I can use Best Buy credit and get the GCU price of $48 with the free game, then wait for another decent game to spend the gift card on, I guess.

GCU is making Amazon tough. Unless Amazon is offering $20+ off of a game, I feel like just getting it at Best Buy, with points and without waiting, even if it's $5-10 more.

Add to my Nintendo excitement: Code Name Steam. Steampunk turn based strategy/action (?) game for the 3DS being developed by the Advance Wars studio and has the FEA/Xenoblade/Pokemon guy involved. Comic book influenced design and fighting aliens and Lovecraftian things, sounds very interesting.

If AWD doesn't make a comeback it's become a big factor in making Prime tilt towards expendable.

Amazon currently has Mario Kart 8 for $48.80. So you can guarantee you will get the free game download with the new one.

Debating moving some GS cred into Amazon to get a PS4 if I do some more AC/CoD flips tomorrow.

I really don't need a PS4 though...

Yeah, I just know that I can get it for a bit less, plus points, at Best Buy. I've been hemming and hawing about it for a few hours. I'm waiting for my pickup-at-store order from Best Buy to come in. I got 3D World, Tropical Freeze, and a One copy of Titanfall to trade back in. If it all goes properly, I paid $90 and will get at least $30 in credit for Titanfall (which I got free with my One), making it a net purchase of $60 for the two Wii U games I was likely to spend $85-90 on new anyway.

I'll then consider putting the $30 in credit and my remaining $23 on my card (from Target trades) towards a $48 (post-GCU) copy of MK8, meaning I'll get it for free. The alternative would be to use it for a second, cheaper buy 2, get 1 free deal (using the GCU welcome coupon), and then get MK8 on Amazon anyway.

We'll see, I'm indecisive.

Hopefully it looks better in motion, because those screenshots...aren't exactly exciting me. :???:

Do they ever give super-duper deals on PS3s? What's the cheapest (and model) that they run? I've considered getting one (might see if I can get my cousin to go halvesies) as a Kingdom Hearts machine, as I want to catch up on that story before the new game launches and there is no working PS3 emulator.

Are there ever any decent WiiU AWD deals other than the Nintendo Land one?   Maybe a Zelda or Mario one?  I guess I've seen some Zelda ones still around at one of my local Gamestops but that's full price and, well, I wouldn't be much of a CAG (plus, I'm not a big fan of digital games instead of physical)

Though one game is digital, it's hard to beat the offer of $48.80 Amazon MK8 with free Wind Waker HD download code.

Yeah, I hope so too. I don't think the style is going to show super well in stills though. When we get a trailer that should give a better idea.

For the systems? The Mario bundle goes for around $211 at times. Just have to be patient and aware.

Mario dingers have popped up for $240ish. No MK8 dingers yet though...

Yes, but they're pretty rare. I grabbed a Zelda Wii U dinger for $250 a few weeks ago. Could have gotten the $250 Mario/Luigi bundle from eBay daily deals multiple times but I'm a sucker for the special edition Zelda gamepad.. and I'm glad I have it, now that the new Zelda has been revealed.
