Amazon has some great warehouse deals, and most of their used games are in like new condition (condition listed can be acceptable, good, very good, like new, or new). Please post specific deals you find via Warehouse deals in this thread. Check latest posts for the newest deals, or click the link below.

WIKI: It seems people had a few suggestions from the last thread in terms of updating the OP. I've changed a few things, but if there is anything else you want to change, feel free to do so.

F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What states does Amazon charge sales tax?
Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax:

Arizona
California
Connecticut

Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Kansas
Kentucky
Massachusetts
Nevada
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Note: No sales tax is charged when purchasing gift cards; however, purchases paid for with gift cards may be subject to tax.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

If the stickers are on the outside of the shrinkwrap can I assume the game is sealed? My $2 Wii Lego Harry Potter (G) didn't have any stickers on the inside of the shrinkwrap so I think it's a new copy.

Weird, but Amazon is selling Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy Anthonlogy for PS1 "new" (not warehouse) for like $10 each or so.  Ordered 2 myself, just to see how they come - guess they're cleaning house or something, but ebay prices are more than that, so we'll see.

eBay prices are on average only $5 to $8 more. Amazon has had these in stock at $10 for awhile now

PS1-Digimon World 2 (A) $28.xx (G) $30.xx (LN) $34.xx

Edit: There is different listings for the (G). One shows it will have damage to the packaging while the other is the standard listing.

What's the lowest that someone has gotten a 3ds or 3ds xl on here? I kind of want to get one, but not sure if I should stake it out here on wait for a black friday deal

Rakuten has new PS4 controllers for $34.99 with the WELCOME (new account) coupon.

Just Saying :D if some of you didnt see the post.

Yeah but didn't rakuten steal folks credit cards?
there was a incident a year ago. But on that point target, Walmart, amazon, even hobby lobby and craft stores have had credit card problems. It possible to happen at any retailer as long as the US doesn't upgrade the credit cards to those that Europe have now. Pretty much it all Come down to people with credit card need to be pro active and watch there accounts and monitor them on a regular basic or even buy a prepaid credit card just for online use.

Also...trade in is $38.xx for the Dualshock 4.  So you can trade in your old one with the Rakuten new DS4 box and get it LN; netting you a new controller :D

For some unknown reason my last 4 packages been coming UPS surepost using prime two day wtf amazon. All it does is add a unnecessary day to my delivery time since the post off is a 5 minute walk from my house meaning the UPS truck goes right past my house anyway

Yep, hate that so much. Haven't been ordering much from Amazon lately but a lot of it has gotten that treatment.

Edit- Ah snap, my Prime expires today actually and I haven't decided if I should renew it or not.

Edit Edit- Guess it was actually today and they already charged me. Still on the student and last year's rate so only $40 I suppose. Oh wait, they charged a family member's card that I still had on my account (from ordering something for them) instead of mine for some reason. :headache:

Received my resident evil 5 CE today and back it goes.
It was listed in good condition and I opened the amazon brown box and it was the game and steel book only. The original outer box and packaging and all the extras were missing.
Wouldn't that classify this as acceptable only?

For some reason their system refunded me the prime cost even tho it was charged a week prior to my canceling.

UPS Surepost (n) : a method of ensuring an extra day waiting for your package even when not needed

(my package was delivered by UPS to the post office 1.5 miles away from me yesterday, so I got the package today :/ )

So amazon raise the price of prime then start transferring majority of the deliveries to the cheaper USPS post office method.
Yea that make perfect sense

I've ordered hundreds of things on Amazon, plenty of them have been delivered via Surepost. I ALWAYS receive my orders in two days or less.
That's not the point Eld and I are making... the point we are making is that it adds an extra step and extra day. In both of our cases, the package could have been delivered a day prior.

blame the shareholders, massive # of new warehouses, amazon movie studio, getting amazon music, fire tablet, fire tv and phone R&D licenses etc etc

Their margins were low and they are spending a bunch of money in a bunch of stuff to see if any becomes a major hit.

While you get it a day later and they might pass right by your house, the prices to ship it this way are way less afaik.

Thanks to amz and other online retailers B&M stores have not increased their prices and have had to compete w/ online retailers and lower their margins.

IMO $20 is not that much of an increase, I actually use their video service a lot and about 75% of the items on AMZ are cheaper than were I live. I always get 5-12 day prime shipping because I live on an island, but it hasn't bother me at all because I got a good deal on the items I buy, if the item is very big or heavy I do get it UPS 2 day air though. The only thing is that there is about 35% of amz items that won't ship here, but if a 3rd party seller has it and is w prime I can get it though lol, or funny things like a box of bars of chocolate is fine to ship, but not the light sugar version or crap that doesn't make sense on why not to ship it.

I had something like that happen a few years ago, though not through Prime. I don't remember if the whole order was USPS, or UPS-to-USPS, but I had a keyboard show up at USPS the day before delivery, when they were still opened. I was still at school, but I had my mom go to the USPS office and pick it up. So, you might see if your USPS office will allow that as well, though it means some driving on your part, and being lucky enough to not have work when it arrives.

yea but it not only the extra day that bothers me but also the damage that could happen to lots of orders as a result of this.
Certain items should not be shipped UPS Surpost such as collector games and similar. A mailbox is only so big and the reason for that is that it mainly for snail mail and the occasional small boxes. And the USPS nation wide has always had problems with just shoving the stuff in the mailbox to fit so imagine shoving a CE into a mailbox along with the normal daily mail.
Example: my resident evil 5 CE was received today in the mailbox
Now Friday should be interesting I have two call of duty ghosts hardened editions and 2 Wii games scheduled to be delivered UPS Surpost on Friday also so it going to be interesting to see how the mailman fit that in the mailbox without causing damage

Hopefully Amazon starts using reliable shippers like Ontrac and Lasership more often.

I have actually received big items in way better shape when they come USPS than UPS and FedEx. Of course not all mailman/women are created equal and I live in the city. My mailwoman is great, she calls me (from her cell to mine) when I have packages and my old neighbor is not there to grab it for me and she takes care of my deliveries amazingly. About 90% of my AMZ deliveries come USPS so she jokes that I buy everything from the web, because I get at least 1-3 packages a week lol. I actually hate it when they send me stuff throughout UPS because they 50% don't ring the apt/delay it an extra day/ etc bs excuses
