I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?

They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?

Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?

Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?

In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?

On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?

Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?

Spoiler

First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Leech is a bad way of putting it but I'm not going to argue with that. All I had was my iPhone and I couldn't even see any of the deals. So I was very thankful for them being posted. As for selling them, I don't plan to sell anything until I play it all and the duplicates will go to friends and family completely free. I only paid around $350 I think for all of it and what I keep will definitely be worth that, so I'm happy and they are happy.

Not sure but I think you're talking about the "Record of Agarest War Zero - Limited Edition - Playstation 3". Not sure it was worth it at $9 since I don't know if it's even my type of game, but figured it was worth the risk for that cheap.

I'm specifically checking the thread to see what people bought and what condition their items are in. I really appreciate when people post photos of their hauls.

Maybe someone should create a separate thread in the shopping/bragging rights forum or whatever it's called. It might be a good idea to take note of what was glitched last time. If there's another glitch sometime in the not too distant future, maybe the same exact items will be glitched again. Who knows.

I passed on them, but wish I bought one too. I was trying not to spend money on stuff I already had. I paid $44.99 for one at gamestop a while back during a b2g1, but the steelbook is dented and missing the plastic slipcover. I should have paid $11 or $12 just to have a new steelbook and traded the disc or given it away to a friend.

Is there a reason Eternal Session uses the blue font? Is it to feel special? not enough attention at home or at school or something? 

My forza 5 day one's came in both were in great condition. Tomb Raider Definitive both came with art book. One seemed like it was just returned or fell off a truck and no one felt like selling it new.

the other seemed like it was played both were bought in good condition i think. 

The phone's i bought I'll be getting tomorrow but so far i've gotten everything i ordered except for my PS4 Tomb Raider Definitive w/ artbook which was oversold.

Also contact amazon if anything that got cancelled on you showed up as in stock. The CS reps can do price adjustments and sell you the stuff for the price you had it canceled on you.

Alright, I'm going to start an off-topic conversation, both because I need some advice and because I want to try to shift the focus from the explosion of deals we had a few days ago because apparantly the basta- I mean people who got in the deals think we have a desire to hear about what they got and we didn't. We don't.

What's the best Firefox add-on to use for a Youtube downloader? I want to download some songs and upload them to my itunes library and I'm not sure which one to use. I'm quite wary about it, since the last one I tried crashed my computer somehow.

I think it's cool to see what people got as well. A crazy deal just took place, so it's normal for people to talk what they got. At least it's still related to AWD.

Mm, not exactly. It's for the special needs children like you. I've seen guys like you with zero attention span so to make sure that everyone is treated equally, I use an easy to notice color so that everyone can see my posts.

I'm specifically checking the thread to see what people bought and what condition their items are in. I really appreciate when people post photos of their hauls.

Maybe someone should create a separate thread in the shopping/bragging rights forum or whatever it's called. It might be a good idea to take note of what was glitched last time. If there's another glitch sometime in the not too distant future, maybe the same exact items will be glitched again. Who knows.

I don't think people showing what they bought it too off topic. I'm interested in what youtube downloaders CAGs recommend also.

Anyway, be sure to test those Wii U games. They are still sending discs that are broke, but look perfect. Speaking of, I wonder if they are resurfacing those discs and causing some of the issues themselves, dince Wii U discs are a proprietary format with the rounded edges.

yeah, I enjoy seeing the pictures people post as well. Its good to see their items came pretty complete since AWD is so hit or miss for that.

Youtube downloaders? Now THAT belongs in another thread....I cant stand that kind of mentality where "I didnt get what I want now I'm gonna post something completely irrelevant"

Just wanted to note that after talking to an Amazon rep I was able to place an order at the current price and that they will refund the different once it ships so I will only end up paying the price I got originally, so this can work!

As an added bonus, my DCU LE that was stuck in the no shipping date is now preparing to ship
