F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

What is AmazonSmile?

About AmazonSmile

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?

On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?
Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Thanks. I've heard very positive reviews about it. I wanted to play with my friends who have it on the One. I think I'll just pass and get Forza Horizon instead next month.
This guy's in the minority, it's not perfect but it's a great Forza game (ie slightly relaxed sim racing). The biggest problem to me is the lack of tracks since most are variations on the same handful but they're good tracks at least (except Top Gear). It can be fairly knocked too for locking away a lot of cars behind a pay wall but I have gotten enough enjoyment out of the game I didn't have a problem buying the season pass when it went on sale. In the end either you like the type of racing that mainline Forza is or you don't.

Okay, garbage was definitely too strong a word. It wasn't as good as Horizon, and being a next-gen game, that is a bit of a problem. That, and the microtransactions, more than I've seen in any game, and just stupid microtransactions, ones that you just want to facepalm through your skull makde me dislike it.

Eld is right. You do realize that Horizon is an arcade racer and Forza 5 is a sim, just like 1-4 before it don't you? It's a pretty good game, I suck horribly bad at it for some odd reason (I've never had so much trouble with a racing game). I guess I need to play it more like driving a real car instead of playing it like Horizon or NFS

Sim racers are just hard games to master.

The rewind feature has to be one of the best innovations in gaming in a long time.

weird some show 3.99 or less for ps3 games but when i click on them it shows highers prices.
Are you seeing a bunch of listings for a particular game? If so, you may be running into similar problems as other members here, where all the listings from every seller are being shown instead of filtering it just for AWD. It is a hit or a miss with folks.

Guys, I'm scurred. My phone's at 20% and no sign of the power coming back tonight!

Also dinger Dinorangs for Skylanders for $1.50.

Yeah I'm getting that now too and it's the most awful thing ever.

This means our restock is nigh!
He is scared and screwed at the same time, so much so that he is "scurred". Get back to us soon Eld.

I'm soooooo tempted!!! Just brought $125 gc from GS too :/. Watching a unboxing for it right now.]
Granted the game also trades at base of $20 at GS (plus the 50% bonus coupon if you have any and 10% PUR bonus), so you get to get the CE stuff for cheap if you plan on not playing it right away and picking it say around the holidays for cheaper.

I looked that up as well lol. However I don't have an 50% coupon. I used my one and only on a massive haul lol. Just watched another unboxing, and noticed the steel book doesn't have the name on the spline. That's pretty much a deal breaker for me. Also the statue wouldn't fit the feel of my room. Also I never played the soul games, and don't think I ever will anytime soon.

The spine does have the name (which comes with a slip cover). Also the metal pops on the front cover as in embossed / 3d.

500x1000px-LL-1ce94880_darksoulssteelbook030.jpeg

You just don't see the name on the spine if the steelbook is popped open all the way so that the image flows from cover to cover. The spines fold inwards.

However, I do recommend playing others in the series and or a demo before jumping headfirst.

Not sure if it's known or anyone is interested, but AWD has Bioshock Infinite for 360 LN $7.
Trades into GS for $14 as well right now with a 50% coupon. If you order now it should be here in time. Or if you have one already order this to replace it and trade that now haha

It really isn't a bad game, and one doesn't necessarily replace the other, depending on how much racing you like. The main complaint (including from myself) was the DLC and its pricing, but it can be totally avoided (unless you're dead-set on 100% completion of Achievements). As far as driving itself goes, the game's really nice, and the rumble triggers are used well. The only gameplay complaint is that Drivatars are WAY too aggressive, to the point that I miss the formulaic AI at times.

why would anyone want to pay that much for radiata stories? Its an ok game at best that I got for 2 bucks a few years ago.
Right now AWD has the lowest Amazon-fulfilled price...and it's "Like new" so who knows? That copy could be actually brand new.

Just took a look around: dear God, a lot of the Suikoden games are expensive!

Hopefully one of the regulars can help me out here. I bought a few  things off AWD, and paid with a visa gift card with a $0 balance, because I didn't have any credit. How long do I have to get store credit, and apply it to my order before Amazon cancels it?

Approximately two days. They'll reauthorize the card twice the following day, then send you an email saying something along the lines of "you have 48 hours to update payment".

Wild Arms 3 is an amazing game, and has one of the best female main characters in gaming. I highly recommend it if any of you guys are looking for unique JRPG to play.

PS3-Eternal Sonata (G) $9.81 (LN) $11.05
It hurts just a little to see that after paying $12.28 for a LN copy last week. :???:
Hurts me more that I paid $20 at GS a few months ago, tried to like it, then ended up trading it back for something like $6. Derp. Oh well. I hope you enjoy it more than I did (helps a lot when you don't pay much for the game, lol).

Same, I bought it at gamestop a few months ago with one of their sales.

Woah, that Xenosaga 2 jumped up nearly 3x the value in two days.

They had a B2G1 thing going on in May - no coupon codes required for that one. That's when I bought ES too. Funny how they now want you to have codes, but I suppose that's supposed to create better data tracking? I don't know.
