I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?

They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?

Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?

Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?

In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?

On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

What do you mean by a "dinger"?

Dinger = Item is new but the packaging is damaged in some way or form.

These are speculative guesses at best going by descritption of any given item and also taking into account the length of time an item has been out since its release. Shorter the span of time from release of a game or console, better the chance of scoring a new item with damaged packaging aka "dinger".

AWD product description says "Factory Sealed", is this item new?

First and foremost, AWD sells used / open box items so in their terms it has been sealed / resealed at an Amazon Warehouse and hence the "Factory Sealed" part so no it isn't necessarily new. It isn't necessarily new because it could go one of two ways:

1. It was traded in / open box return / test unit that was resealed at an Amazon warehouse facility.
2. It was a dinger (new with damaged packaging and with seals intact).

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?

First and foremost all games from AWD are considered used unless specified as new. Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and depending on condition they can be perfect / brand new, brand new with damaged packaging aka "dinger" to just a game in a generic case. AWD has 5 condition criteria for their listings and they are:

New: Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unopened video game in perfect condition in its original packaging and with all original packaging materials included.

Like New: An apparently unopened video game in perfect condition (although it may be out of its original wrapping). The box and item are pristine, with no signs of wear. Suitable for presenting as a gift. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Very Good: A well-cared-for video game that has been played but remains in great condition. The game and its original packaging are complete and slightly worn, but unmarked and undamaged. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Good: The video game shows wear from consistent use, but remains in good condition. There may be clear external signs of wear and damage to the original packaging or instructions, but the game plays perfectly. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Acceptable: The video game is fairly worn, but it continues to work perfectly. The box and instructions may be missing or damaged. The video game may have identification markings from its owner. Sellers are required to note whether the box or instructions are missing in the condition notes field for the item. Activation codes for bonus online content may be missing or expired. Product may not include downloadable content.

Any game I have personally ever bought in good or above condition has been in near mint condition. Acceptable ones have been a gamble. Getting DLC with games has also been a gamble and since AWD games are considered used, don't expect unused DLC even though there will be occassions where they may come unused. In regards to DLC, ymmv. Conditon wise, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases and inserts, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc. Consoles listed in "acceptable" conditon can be either new in damaged packaging and or a pure gamble in what conditon they will truly be in along with what is included in the box depending on the time frame from release of the console.

IMHO don't buy a 2012 nexus 7. I've seen those go for $50-60 easily. They're ridiculously slow. If you want a Nexus 7 (and why would you not? They're great) go with a 2013 model. You can get them for $80-90 if you shop around. I have one just to play around with android stuff when I feel like switching it up from iOS

You can get them for $80-90 if you shop around. I have one just to play around with android stuff when I feel like switching it up from iOS

I use a nexus phone (currently on it actually), so I'm aware of their utility. To be honest, I'd only be using a last gen tablet for the sale if cycling videos on swagbucks or other things of similar nature. If I want to splurge on a tablet, I'll just edit until a 2015 model gets announced and weigh my options.

that's what I mean though. I'd rather have a standard android OS compared to FireOS, considering I can't just enter the play store, but instead have to settle through whatever's available on the amazon appstore. I'm not saying it's a bad selection, but it won't meet my ends, I'm sure.

I bought a Samsung encore since I had a gift card to the Microsoft store and didn't want anything. I hate that tablet, I irigilally bought it so my daughter could use it but it's too complicated for her, I'm gonna have to see if I can Craigslist it or something.

I would buy a fire tablet over an iPad though personally and I love apple (have an iPhone and iMac)

The Amazon Fire works well as a screen for kodi (aka Xbmc) and Netflix (all streaming video, so little storage space required) for my kitchen. I also can look up recipes as well while I'm cooking. I have it mounted under my top cabinet and it stays out of the way

I've gotten a lot of Gamecube games in generic DVD cases and they frequently have cut an inch or 2 off the side of the artwork to get them to fit in the DVD cases they use. Not sure what others experience is with this but it's typically been cheaper games but thought I'd mention it.

I was worried about that, but I ordered a (G) pikmin last year along with a couple other GC games and they all came complete in original cases so I'm hoping the streak continues. Thanks for the warning though!

If you read the first two reviews, one of them is a two-star and says that the control stick often goes past the 0,0 position so you will end up moving slightly in the opposite direction once you let go. He says that when you move left, then let go, you will often move right after, leading to facing/dodge rolling the wrong way. This is a definite deal-breaker for anyone wanting to get it to play Smash.

what is so bad about it? it decent if you are only doing non-cpu intensive tasks, like checking email , browsing the web, and and microsoft word, and stuff, basically a decent laptop for a student.

In that case I would buy a chromebook. 10 hour battery, very light, no need for a fan, and no massive OS to slow you down. I bought my first Asus c300 on black Friday for $150 and the got another from awd about 2 months ago for $130. My wife and kids use the shit out of them too.

my guess would be neither are. the large scratches give the first one away. I would expect packaging to be slightly damaged, so the pristine packaging on #2 suggest no on that one too.
